I just want to thank you for putting out this awesome content. I'm a Nace III and have been around welding most of my career but just recently decided to take the steps towards CWI. I'll be buying the $149 course here shortly if for no other reason than to show my appreciation for all the work you've done.

    law.resource.org/pub/us/cfr/ibr/003
There is a PDF copy of the 2000 version on there - a lot has changed in the last 20 years but there is a lot in there that is pretty solid.

I don't know if this was intentional or not - at 19:33, "It's not rocket surgery". I literally laugh out loud in my office when I heard this.

I can't take credit for that one - I stole that material from a buddy of mine - he did the merger of Brain Surgery and Rocket Science - which produces Rocket Surgery-

@@gpacex shucks, you said it on purpose. ha. Several B&V guys and I were discussing this, taking bets on if it was on purpose or not.

Is the AWS bookstore the ONLY place to get a copy of D1.1? Ridiculous how expensive it is.

  • @panneerselvameswaran9754

. Gary. Why the test piece for tensile test should be taken perpendicular to weld?
