Really excited for that new zedruu list to come out.
As for Jinnie Fay vs Jetmir debate, I love them both and I run both in the same deck but I have to say that Jetmir is the better one IMO simply because it's a finisher, so unlike Jinnie you just can cast him once and finish the game on the spot when the moment is right instead of trying to keep him alive just so you turn your mediocre tokens into slightly threatning tokens. And let me say that the dopamine hit from turning your 20 damage on board into +/- 160 with Trample never gets boring. Of course they both have the same ceiling with a card like Avenger of Zendikar.
Also I might be a bit biased because I splurged about 30 euros on Gilded Foil Jetmir as soon as Capenna was out and now refuse to put anything else as a commander for this deck lol
While I agree Jetmir is better, I much prefer to build a deck around an effect like Jinnie Fay's. The fun interactions you can get are why I love commander.
Jetmir is absolutely the better choice I out of the 2. However, for me, I picked Jinnie Fay. I like having my commander decks to have finesse. Like having Loyal Guardian with Hamza in the game we just watched. Jetmir's in the deck as a win con though.
The Johnny in me wants to run this deck with Jinnie as the general, my inner Timmy says run Jetmir, and my inner Vorthos says run Rin+Seri
Jinnie is cool and all, but i'm not sure what Andrew is on about. Jetmir seems like the better one out of the two without a doubt. in 90% of cases he basically just says "you win the game if you hit nine creatures", which really isn't hard at all in Naya colors.

He went from 8 life to 5 hoping to get a good sunbird trigger. It's not the worst play I've seen.
Great video! I'm excited to try out my Naya tokens with Jetmir, having a game winning card in the command zone just seems so powerful. I love Jinnie Fay too, but I probably want to go 5 color with her and run cards like Chatterfang though, using Sisay to fetch them out. 5 color academy Manufactuor kind of

It's likely harder in commander, but Jinnie and Ognis together are insane in 2 player constructed. Create cats with haste, to create more cats with haste.
@@adamsmith-wx1sv Great idea for Sisay treasures though. Add in an academy Manufactuor I need a way to find and suddenly you go real silly
@@MstrKipper I actually discovered an infinite combo with Jinnie Fay, academy manufactor, impact tremors and prosperous partnership.
Tap 3 creatures to create a treasure, which creates a treasure food and clue, which creates 3 cats, doing 3 damage. Repeat ad nauseum
"i cast academy rector" made me shout from my rectus. You play the reserved list, I judge.

I'm currently playing with zedruu, I didn't know you could pass a permanent before the draw phase. And I couldn't find any information about it.
You can respond to the Zedruu trigger hitting the stack and donate before it resolves.

My ex once played Omniscience with his Golos "big spells" deck, emptied his hand, wheeled everyone and then emptied his new hand, but couldn't manage to close the game that turn. Pass to me, who has drawn the perfect hand off his Wheel, and I steal his Omniscience with an Agent of Treachery and pull off a combo with which I managed to pretty much draw my deck and copy my Agent of Treachery with every spell I cast, stealing all permanents. Fun times. :D

doesnt the sanitarium force everyone to draw and discard? it isnt a targeted ability... everyone should have discarded a card. How did it ever mill your omniscience? unless you had no cards in hand? This game had me lost for sure.
