My fiancé and I will be honeymooning on the Wish in early October! My first cruise. Can’t wait! Then 3 days at WDW!
We did the very same but on the Wonder. 3 night cruise, our first and 10 days at WDW. It was a magical Honeymoon. Be sure to let cast members know at check in that you’re on your honeymoon for more magic. After the 3 night, we did a 4 night to be sure we really enjoyed it. We are now going to sail in September for our 15th year anniversary on the Wonder as gold members. You’re going to be hooked on Disney cruising.

The Suite Life on Deck, the last half of The Suite Life series was set on a ship called the S.S. Tipton. When the cast graduated high school, the ship became a memory due to a dismantlation after it was sold.

And each Disney ship had already been deemed a Megaship because of their size proportions. Here's an idea; all the Disney cruise ships can be combined into a brand-new colossal three-stacked one called the Disney Legend! All the floors and details'll be recycled for it along with the bars, play areas, waterparks and suite rooms along with the character statues outside the deck edge. But until that's possible, another ship called the Disney Treasure is about to have its construction and launch planned for the future.

you might be surprised on the new ship, I'm surprised that Disney became so successful it built its own cruise line that's just outstanding

overall I give this ship a 7.5 out of 10. Would sail again, but there are a few things the next 2 ships in class need to improve.
1: Consolidate the swimming pools. Yes I know the combined volume of the pools is limited based upon the weight of water and the issue of putting that weight high up on the ship, which raises the center of gravity, however the previous Disney ships had a better arrangement with fewer pools, but larger ones overall. That arrangement is much more sensible.
2: The adult section is much too small and really suffers the pool issue mentioned above. Perhaps it should be moved forward of the 1st funnel, just as it is on the Magic/Wonder. It seems like that's a proper place for a secluded adult only section.
3: it needs a separate interior district for nightlife as the previous ships have. It has venues that are distant from each other and too small to accommodate the guests.

This ship sounds like it's meant for families with small children and not adults. I'll stick with the classic ships.

Price tag? Guessing $2500 per guest
At least that per person and up. I haven't seen any cheaper than $2500. Well , that's not completely true, the price per person seems to go up if you add more people. We have 6 in our family and it started at $2439, I removed everyone from the party except my husband and I and the price dropped to $1759. Ridiculous!!
@@beckers68 2439 for 6 is $400 each.. that is less than 1769 a couple, or 880 each.

@@beckers68 No. The price shown is for your party size which you specify. If you don't specify a party size, then the default is one stateroom which is for 2 adults. You can hit 'show details' and it shows you the breakdown (each adult &, children). The typical cost of family of 4 for a 4 night cruise on the wish is $4-$7k depending on season, and of course this is non concierge, which can easily be double or triple, but not always.
Can anyone tell me if Castaway Cay's shops take cash? My grandson has been saving his money to buy souvenirs.

As supportive as I am to the Disney cruise line group, the ship needs some touching up. Some of the horns sound to light and could pierce some ears. Also, can you add drawers to the ship? It’s awkward making a ship with no clothing privacy.

It looks beautiful but from other people who have taken the cruise has said that the concierge or customer service lines were ridiculously long through out their 3 day cruise. It would be better to implement a text system like some of the other cruise lines have. you can text someone with questions and get an answer really quickly. Plus there was no Cinderella on the ship? What?!! This is a Cinderella Wish ship! That makes no sense. The adult cruisers said there is no drink package either. Seems like it would be better if there was. Looks like there was lots of fun things for kids though, so that is fun.
Disney cruise line isn't what it used to be based on what others told me about their experiences. I can only attest to currently and now in 2022 horrible customer service...not at all what you expect for the ridiculous high prices.
Let's hope they are paying their carbon taxes

I'd rather have a Treasure Planet restaurant experience themed to the BennBow Inn instead of one based on stupid overrated Frozen. I'd also rather have a kids' space themed to Treasure Planet instead of one themed to Disney's Star Wars.
