- The world got a first look at the newest Disney Cruise Line ship when our beautiful Disney Wish completed a major milestone known as “float out.”
During this momentous event, the Disney Wish touched water for the very first time, then made a grand exit from the enclosed building dock where it has been constructed.

Hello, Disney Wish
Well I never been on a Disney cruise before but seeing how much this new ship was talked about makes me exited to go on a Disney cruise one day it looks fun and that must be a very magical thing to be the first guests on the boat after it comes out and seeing it come out.
I was on the Disney Dream in January it was my first time cruising and it was so nice! The people were very welcoming and made it as magical as it could be! I came from New Jersey so it was very cold and to be in the Bahamas in the warm was so nice I can’t wait to start planning my next Disney Cruise!
That is awesome yea I’m from New York and I prefer the hot over cold any day I went on a cruise before just not a Disney cruise because my family does not like Disney as much as I do. 🤣They say that cruise is for little kids only but I don’t think so at all.

Luckily my family had a chance to visit with a tour inside the Meyer Werft, Papenburg, Germany in July 2018, seeing a cruise ship was being built inside.

A reminder that the midship lifts were eliminated and the fully wraparound Promenade Deck which distinguished the Disney Cruise Line fleet from most of the other cruise lines was also eliminated. This was a beloved feature of the RunDisney community. And now, no one can complain about the midship lifts always being so crowded…
