    Hey Tony ! Thanks for the super helpful video ! May I ask, when you are parked on the ferry during the journey, are you allowed to step out of the car and walk on deck? Are children allowed to be out ? Thanks for letting me know !

      Yes you can! In fact ... you have to. You're not allowed to stay in the vehicle.
      There's plenty of seating inside and outside areas.

    Hi Tony, Thanks for your video. Can you please tell me, do they check the Car's MOT and Road Tax on the Passport check or any other place while going through to the vessel?

      Not that I know of, they certainly didn't check mine nor anyone else's in the queue, and it was very quiet when we went through... so at busy periods I would say the odds would be even lower!

      it's possible they do. I imported vehicles for a friend before. And they got checked sometimes. You have to have documentation of the car. because of brexit i think it's only imprtant on your side of the water.

      I agree with the previous comment, not just for the crossing but for travelling around Europe. I had a folder containing all my car paperwork with me,

      no they don,t so you can drive your stolen cars without mot and road tax into france
