At 8:17 Mather Hall is visible out your window, i had the same view up in my Fenn 14th floor room...bathrooms in same place and closet as well....Fenn 19th floor was a "Party Room way back when, and sometimes the Dorm Council also showed movies up there...yup, a movie screen and a movie projector as in a movie theater....ancient times...hahaha! Hope you like CSU, i was a "professional student" there from age 18 to age 31...undergrad , grad, and then College of Law. ....i was in Fenn Tower the first 4 years, on floors 11, 14 and 15...cafeteria was on 3d floor, north side...the south side of Fenn 3d floor was Panel Hall, a large room with a fireplace...hope Panel Hall is still there....students' laundry room was in the basement...indoor swimming pool on 6th floor...back then we had a campus bar in the basement of Mather Hall just west of Fenn...18 year old kids could buy half-strength beer back then [3.2%] in 1/2 gallon glass pitchers for 99 cents....my first 3 years in Fenn, each floor had ONE "pay telephone" on the wall across from the elevators!...by my fourth year, we had a free wall telephone in each room....NO air conditioning, and the heat was from hot-water radiators under the windows...Enjoy college and Fenn Tower Dorm!
I just noticed in your video that during the remodeling of Fenn, they have kept the ORIGINAL black and white square floor tiles! Those are original from when Fenn Tower was built in 1929 ! Had them in my 3 Fenn dorm rooms.
I'm glad it was helpful! For my first year I just got random roommates, but if you have other friends that are incoming students you can request to room with them.
im about to cry..... I really like the euclid commons dorms better than the fenn towers :(. Its more space, we have our own rooms and sinks and don't have to share. It's also wayyy bigger. Do you think there might be another way to do switch ? Because from the looks of it, this dorm isnt very comfy like the euclid commons. But thanks for the tour! Glad to know what to expect.
once you pick which dorm you want to live in idk if you can change that, especially not at this point. i would definitely reach out to res life though. they would be able to answer your questions!

Neha Patel The prices you’ve seen are per person unfortunately. It’s usually set up so you pay half in the fall then half in the spring but it varies if you’re on a payment plan

Matt M Sorry, I didn’t get a notification for your comment! Yeah I like it, but it’s a big commuter school so it’s kind of tough to make friends at first. Pros: It’s beautiful! Campus is easy to navigate It’s not to big and not too small The Fenn dorms (quads and singles) are really nice Elevators break a lot so you’ll get fit from taking the stairs all the time Dining hall has amazing cookies The Fenn maintenance people are really quick and lots more! Cons: hard to make friends not too many events for people that live on campus washing and drying machines in Fenn are pretty terrible ngl walls are really thin depending on who’s on your floor it might be hard to sleep at times lol the whole wall is mirrored so that can be awkward but I put up a curtain and it’s fine
