I’m 37 and first heard Rooster in my uncles truck, in 1993. Never once have I claimed another band as my favorite. A real life changing moment
I'm 36 myself and I'm just glad we had such amazingly talented artists
That we were blessed with during our times of growing.
I feel embarrassed for the kids nowadays.
HELLYEAZZZ!!!!!
I remember being in 6th grade in the 90's at my friends house on a saturday. I brought my Sega CD system over to play sewer shark. He had a cool skater older brother that asked if I let them borrow the Sega for the weekend he'd give me the just released Alice in chains album. I said yes, took it home, popped it in my CD player/boom box and my life changed forever. I remember sitting next to it on the floor arms wrapped around my shin, chin resting on my knee and being blown away till over now finished.
Over now is super underrated.
Lol thanks for taking me back 🙃
It's like Jerry Cantrell looked into my head and my life and wrote the song I never could.
Spot on
Hell Yeah!
The same with Fear Inoculum
Still most amazing band! AIC always my favourite 30 years!
AIC is unlike any other.
They kick ass
Absolutely amazing but there is no words for AIC with Layne or William. live it still. the fealing i get with each song but this song fits me and who I am and just the singing aline melts me. Fan since 1989. I was 9 thank you Portland. thank you seattle. thank you family who lived there this is part of my Hart
Such a well written and brilliant song . One of a kind
The trick for an 'older' band-is to stay relevant. So many rock and metal bands doing the rounds that are trading off of past glories. How many bands can lose an iconic singer and still put out some of the best, most glorious soundscapes known to the human race?
This track is genius.....but it should come as no surprise, the last album was great-as was the album before that.
I went to the AIC gig in Belfast on Tuesday night and it was one of the greatest shows I have ever experienced in all the years I have been going to concerts.
Front row and got one of Jerry's plectrums. :D Amazing band!
I just saw them in Vancouver in April, and yes, they are still amazing! Such a great band, and so good to see them still going strong!
One of a kind band. Unbeatable.
This took me back to the previous AiC with Layne...Love this band so baaaaad.
Just imagine Layne singing on this album.
Best song on the album. Hands down!
Congratulations AIC! You didn't lose the originality
My favorite song on the album!
F'ing love these episodes! Alice in chains you continue to blow me away all these long years later.
This is the best song on the album, love it
Thank goodness there’s a group again
Damn now another 2 week wait. This better not end Game of Thrones style lol
Duuudes Thank you , Killer song!
The groove on this is just too good.how Master Cantrell and co do it amazes me all the time.love it😎👍🤟
Long gone, the days of summer
In L.A. it stretches longer
Fading, waiting
Try to heal, but the pain, it won't go
Start with less, always seems to cost more
Hating, breaking
Remember come December
One day can last forever
Ain't nowhere that's safe for a lowly pretender
I'm shooting straight for the target center
Maybe you should know
I'm feeling lonely
And I'm tired, oh yeah
Maybe I should go
Got no desire
To watch the last tear fall
Maybe this will show
I'm reeling, empty
Uninspired, oh yeah
Maybe I don't know
You anymore
And I'm smiling
Our burden is untied
Let it die
I'd be lying if I said it felt right
Even though I got a dog in this fight
Wounded, losing
People talk, in and out their words go
To be the one from where the wind, it does blow
Hounded, surrounded
Remember come December
One life can live forever
Ain't nowhere that's safe for a lowly pretender
I'm shooting straight for the target center
Maybe you should know
I'm feeling lonely
And I'm tired, oh yeah
Maybe I should go
Got no desire
To watch the last tear fall
Maybe this will show
I'm reeling, empty
Uninspired, oh yeah
Maybe I don't know
You anymore
And I'm smiling
Our burden is untied
Let it die
Maybe you should know
I'm feeling lonely
And I'm tired, oh yeah
Maybe I should go
Got no desire
To watch the last tear fall
Maybe this will show
I'm reeling, empty
Uninspired, oh yeah
Maybe I don't know
You anymore
And I'm smiling
Our burden is untied
Let it die
BEST SONG OF THE ALBUM!!
One of my fav of the album 😍
THE BEST
Mine too...track is fantastic it captures old AIC and new, merging into pure greatness
AIC always 😘
AIC - guys are killing it. First saw them with a small crowd probably under 100 on the Facelift tour. Loved them since.
Such a great album
Heavy Days of the new vibe,we need more of this kind of music prevalent in grunge.
This song may sound uplifting, but it shatters heart and crushes soul. Something about this, the lyrics, the combination of certain words and the melody push really hard. Maybe it's this burden, which is tied inside.
Waiting to see AIC in Glasgow right at this moment and this video gets released!! Best day ever!!
Loved this episode. The old woman and the holocaust section was emotional
Bama Quest That got me too
CSNY and AiC my two musical loves
My favourite from this great album
Anything Alice in Chain is golden .

Jerry is a killer song-writer

Why don't they play this song on the live?
Loving these I’m hooked! Looking forward to Saturday’s gig 🤘 also can’t wait for the next video 🖤
The smash bros clip came out of nowhere lmao
Right? I never would have expected to see Super Smash Bros. in an Alice In Chains music video of all things. 😆
This is an absolute great record. Didn't think Jerry had too much more to write about.
Let me save you some time 4:00 that's when Jerry's solo starts! The whole song is fu*king bad ass, but that solo though!!!
Waiting long time for this "maybe" clip.😁
I'd be lying if I said it felt right, even though I got a dog in this fight. Jerry's lyrics are as good as ever.
edit: the band is still good.
Oh my God, i'm so caught up in the story. Love AIC
Every chapter is better than the previous one. I want to see the whole thing right now...

Yeah I truly love this stuff. I don’t exactly where the story is going to go but I’ve really enjoyed it. It adds such a huge layer to the album.

Still good - good music as always, and I'm looking forward to the next one! :)
Kickass🤘
Yes.
👍👍
The scene(s) starting around 3:00 are gut wrenching..and this might be one of my favourite songs on the album.
Explain me what happened in that scene. Why is he crying? Why is the woman crying?
Hoping there is a full album length movie at the end of these
I loved!❤️
When you choose a war, it finds you.
When you decide on an enemy, you realize at some point how they go through like you could.
Awesome episode!!! can´t wait for the next one!
Good job Nashville.
Grande Alice in Chains!!
What song?
Heavy
Good song.
I'm like 100! I love this song!!! One of AIC best songs ever. :)
Dear Lord put down that crack pipe!
Ever heard of Layne Staley?
Idgaf about All of your negative opinions. I kindly said this song is a number one in my opinion. Yes I favor Layne Staley as the singer but I find William great as well. Check my brain, lesson learned, maybe, deaf ears blind eyes are all perfect 10's to me so that means I mix them with my number ones with songs that Layne sang. The band must go on. If it didn't then we wouldn't have these cool songs. I would rather have lots of other great songs with 75% of the original band over them just stopping and us losing all of these songs. Fuck off.
@jason lee JASON read my comment again. I didn't say this IS THE NUMBER 1 AIC SONG. I said it is one of their number 1 songs to me. I rate sings 1 to 10. I'm saying that I tie this song plus a few others post Layne tied with classic AIC songs. I'm saying that I out this you there with my favorites from Aic from the 90's. I'm a huge fan and not a poser. I just happen to not turn my back on the rest of the band like you are doing. That makes me more of a loyal fan then you are. So think about that. Jerry started AIC and get Layne into it. He also wrote most of the songs plus sings in them. Yes Layne is the best singer and truly missed and never forgotten. The band is just keeping the light life going and putting out some great music. Why complain?
@@berealsupportive2744 I agree. These are great songs regardless.
this still fucking good
so #Good!
👌
Awesome! Djavan???
Maybe is the best song on Ranier Fog and the best AIC post-Layne song.
Fkn wow is all I can say and I'm not often found for a loss of words
Is nice to be one of the firts viewers
Long life Alice in chains
I will never get tired of their style ♥♥♥♥♥
