FYI, the reason why many Indonesians cannot speak English is because it is neither our first nor our second language. Our mother tongue is a regional language such as Balinese and Javanese, then we live side by side with people from other regions in Indonesia so we learn to use Indonesian to communicate in this case Indonesian becomes our second language. Then we also learn the language of our region when we have families from different areas, while we learn English at school as a subject. In Indonesia there are more than 700 regional languages and the average Indonesian is able to use at least 2 regional languages. Then we also study Indonesian and English, so the average Indonesian can use more than 4 languages. Different from other countries where the regional language is only an accent, in Indonesia each region has a very different language and even has a different writing and alphabet. Because of these many languages, Indonesian was created and called the unified language which all Indonesians must learn.

Jakarta city, is the Bigger in southeast, modern, clean, many place beauty view, transportation jakarta city numbers one in the word, number two Kremlin Rusia. A few years ago, many Tourist visit to Malaysia and Singapore but now they're choise come to jakarta. Amazing👍

Siomay filling made from a mixture shrimp & chicken , smootered in peanut sauce
Es Doger : coconut ice cream, fermented black sticky rice, fermented cassava, sago pearl
Actually the pempek sauce is not really vinegar 😂 even there is no vinegar inside it.
Ingrendient :
- water
- palm sugar
- sugar
- roasted ebi/shrimp
- salt
- tamarin
Es Doger Ingrendient :
- Shaved Ice with syrup
- Bread (green one)
- Tapioca Pearl (pink one)
- Fermented Casava (yellow one)
- Sticky Rice (black one)
- Condense Milk
Maybe he mistook cuko with cuka. Cuka is vinegar while pempek sauce is called cuko not cuka.
there is vinegar in it. Only it does stink too much because of the gula jawa/coconut/palm sugar and it is usually hot ( pedas). The spicyness kicks you more than the vinegar

I think you need try in your food menu 😂
In recipes, it uses only tamarind. But sellers use some tamarind and added with white vinegar, because it has neutral taste.

hello welcome to Indonesia, the black thing in es doger is sweet black sticky rice, the one looked like pineapple but it's not is actually fermented cassava, the pink jelly thingy is made from rice flour, the green thingy usually it's an avocado, but here i think the seller switch it with pandan based sweet steamed dough, and the shaved ice is made from coconut water, I hope you enjoy jakarta

My staple diet over in Jakarta. do visit Serena, gajah mada, block M plaza, citraland, senen plaza..and definitely visit 1000 islands..and punchak. Love from New Delhi ❤
