they look good IMO but would appreciate an update later showing some intentional scratching or maybe how they age after a month of wear and tear with regular use

I really hope they make a black one just cause black matches with everything and it’s a very well like-able color

Had to return mine. Kept slipping. Went back to my leather band. Really liked the color. Feel was decent.

Hi, does it dry off relatively fast as the silicon bands? I’m trying to buy one in the future.
Personally I love the Velcro wristbands as I have really small wrists.
I have so many watch bands and if there was a black I might buy one but you have inspired me to swap my normal Velcro one on the watch ultra. I think I’ll start to rotate a few .Even found my green leather magnetic one

If they are anything like the fine woven cases, I’ll pass. Mine is a mess after just one month.
Especially for the same price as leather. If they sold them for like 50€ i would be fine, but not for leather prices.

How about scratches and water on it?? I live in Seattle which rain alot and I watch my hand almost like every hour. How do you think these will last? I have a deal on the old leather link for like $30 but I know after the coating wears offc water will probably stay on the leather. How about these guys? I always go with black because on your wrist is harder to keep it safe unlike leather case.
Are the bumps from the magnets uncomfortable? I love the Milanese loop for style, but my arm hair doesn't. The sport band works, but I've lost a ton of weight so I've exhausted the M/L versions' small setting - there's too much band bunched up underneath. Finally, I loved the solo loop, but mine stretched out over time until it hung like a rapper's Rolex ;)
Do you know if the mag woven link Apple Watch bands can be cut for a better fit? I’m female, bought a small and the band is still a bit small. Can I cut part of the band to create a better fit? Please advise. Can’t find an answer anywhere.
The short side should be on the bottom. Luxury watches with deployment clasps are designed this way. Pin buckle clasps have the short strap on the top.

Looks great, but nothing beats the feel of fine leather
Honestly if the cases and the accessoires don’t scratch then I would like those as well but they expensive within 40 usd I would go for them if they didn’t scratch

I bought my husband the green one for his birthday but magnetic band isn’t very good , band gets lose with movement of ur hand , only had it 3 days

I’d pay to see the sales numbers vs leather. It would be ok if it was cheaper it feels cheap in my hand
leather not good, best use woven, dont look for aftermarket, only buy apple

No they aren t
Surprised they kept the price same as the leather products. Seems very overpriced now. 3rd party is getting my 💰

Have you worn them for hours and it starts getting loose on your wrist? Mine is doing that. I’m wondering whether it’s normal or I just got a lemon strap.
I have to tighten mine up at least once an hour. I’m going to have to find a new band I like since this isn’t acceptable. My previous leather band was just fine (though I had to destroy it to remove it from old watch when returning it).
I hate that it slips so easily. It’s unacceptable!! @apple should give us a refund or replace the strap for us. This really sucks for the price point and all. Yeah, I prefer my leather one too. It didn’t have this problem.
I notice that the old leather band is a bit longer with 1 extra magnet link. I'm guessing that made the difference. Or I guess the texture could offer less friction. Kind of pissed my old band became fused to the watch and it was impossible to remove without destroying it. That one was perfectly fine and in black too, which I prefer. Maybe someone is still selling the old leather bands somewhere.
I am very disappointed about this band that I waited for and was looking forward to. It constantly slips down and gets wider so I have to re-adjust it and sometimes I have to unlock it again. I don't mind the blue color. It's okay but the slipping around and getting larger is a pain. How does it do that?
I love how easy the old leather link band (not what is being reviewed here) is to put on your wrist and adjust, but the “leather” on the leather link SUCKS! It gets nasty black stains that are impossible to remove after just a few months, and my whole band split in half and the magnets fell out in 18 months (I rarely sweat). My guess is Apple changed the material because of complaints, and not some “noble cause” to save the planet. Hopefully they did some durability/stain-resistance testing before choosing this new material.
i absolutely think these are an upgrade. i think the finewoven MODERN buckle is a HUGGGe downgrade, it is so much less sophisticated in finewoven vs leather. the magnetic link band always looked weird in leather IMO though and i think they look incredible now!
Wish they came in pretty colors like pink, powder blue, purple, you know a little more feminine.
So disappointed. Had to get the silicone case this year for my 15. Was really hoping for a cool leather case

Just like most things in life, everything is personal. Do not think I will ever purchase anything that is Apple FineWoven. To each their own.
So, not expensive material since it’s recycled anyway, which also means it’s less durable than a non-recycled material. And still $100

What's up with all the apple watch people not knowing how to properly wear a watch on their wrists, you are not suppose to have it that close to your hands xD its suppose to go abit more up on your arms.

The leather versions were terrible for durability. Apple replaced mine for free, but the replacement went the same way very quickly. Have to say, it’s put me off buying Apple Watch straps again - they are not cheap!
buddy I am an ape, nothing lasts in my hands. I wore the same leather band for over 2 years before it started to degrade to any level warranting replacement. Those bands were high quality European leather goods. Apple was selling them for dirt cheap compared to what they could have. Switching to nasty recycled waterbotles from China does nothing for anyone. Those cows will still be slaughtered regardless because no cows are slaughtered just for leather. The fact that used leather bands now sell for more than brand new ones tells you what a massive fail this is. Folks are stocking up on all the old leather ones they can get, and paying a premium to do so.

@@user-xf4es7eh9yI wish I had bought the blue leather link like I wanted years ago. I have been wearing the black leather link for about a year and a half, and there is zero wear that I notice. The leather link was one of Apple’s best products.

One is meant for sport, one is meant for fashion/luxury
My blue jeans are also made out of woven material. They scratch and stain. Absolute garbage. I’m going pantless from now on.

I don’t want a cloth looking watch band. Metal, leather, or even the rubber/plastic ones look better to me.
Why would you buy a fabric band when you could buy the Milanese bracelet for the same money? It looks classy and will last longer!

Been using mine for a month with no issues.Only thing I don’t like is that the sides aren’t very grippy.They are nowhere near as bad as what people are making out.I still preferred the Leather ones though.

Leather is so yesterday, inhumane and ignorant. I am awaiting my Pacific Blue band in November. They weren't available when I ordered my Watch 9. I just ordered the wallet too.

BREAKING NEWS: Apple product reviewer files "Workman's Comp Claim", due to injuring his finger while removing an Apple Watch Band from its box. Said the product reviewer, "I know my job involves a lot of heavy lifting. But I don't think that ordinary people can fully appreciate how Diiiiificult it is to remove an Apple Watch Band from it's cardboard box -- to be fair, the blue strap is OK, but everything else, time to head to the emergency room" . . . In related news, a drunk topless man was seen protesting the Watch Band box outside of a neighborhood pub. Witnesses said he got tired and went inside for a bathroom break.

I have 2 of these bands and also the original leather magnetic band. For those who are wondering how it compares to the leather, it’s not even close. The build quality is okayish. It keeps slipping and I have to tighten it throughout the day. I sit in an office. If you move around a lot i am not sure how its going to stay in place. never had these problems with my leather bands. it doesn’t feel cheap but not premium either. Personally I would not recommend these. save your money.
