Norma said it was her favorite restaurant so I checked it out in October when I was in Vegas. It's my favorite restaurant now too! It's not a place where you dine at the bar. I came in by myself, checked in with the hostess and they sat me at a 4 person table next to the butchery/firepit area! My waitress was great and very attentive! I ordered the cheapest tasting menu($125 I believe) but ordered an extra 2 ounces of Kobe beef on top of that! The food was unique and amazing! After getting a few courses from the tasting menu, my waitress set a Bonsai tree on the table with a Certificate Of Authenticity (you get to keep) that had a wax seal on it confirming it was actually Kobe Beef from Japan being served. The Kobe Beef was like meat butter, rich and unlike any other meat I've ever eaten. I had a great time and I believe there's a secret/off menu tasting course that my waitress mentioned. I didn't get it because I was just doing my usual reconnaissance and getting my feet wet in the place. I have to go back and try the other tasting menus, and try some different drinks, other than champagne!

My wife and I went to Bazaar Meats back in 2015 and I still talk about this as the BEST steakhouse we’ve been to. The steak selection was MIND BLOWING. Seeing the many cuts and types of steaks they had openly displayed for your selection was incredible. We literally had no complaints at all about our experience there. 10/10 would highly recommend.

great review. this makes me want to try it. i stayed at this property when it was the sls and passed on the opportunity. because of your review, i'll definitely make a point to go to this restaurant whether i stay at the property or not. i would have wanted to see more video of your 12 courses. it would make me more interested to try one of the two.

Had the pleasure of experiencing Jose Andres’ Jaleo at Disney Springs - also chose the “tasting menu” which lightened my wallet to the tune of $645 for 4 (before tip)!
Some of the same menu items were there too, including the liquid olives. But agreed, a great and unique dining experience. 👍👍

I use to work at SLS, when it first opened. On certain Monday’s you could get 50% off for employees. And I knew some of the servers so I always had a good time. Probably the best steak in Vegas…
This place is definitely over priced though, but it’s an experience. And most steak houses on the strip are going to tax you.

Its not really a traditonal steakhouse in my opinion...Its more of a restaurant that specailizes in different meat preparations. Reminds me more of a butchery with a restaurant.

I would say its good but not great. Had the more expensive tasting menu. Not disappointed at all and think everyone should try it, but think it gets too much hype. Maybe I'm just a fan of the traditional steakhouse. I've also dined at e' by Jose Andres at the Cosmo. Over the top 21 course meal that was good but wasnt blown away by any means.

You're usually spot on with your recommendations, but this one missed the mark hard.
Possibly the most overrated restaurant in Vegas.
If I paid half as much as I did, it would still be a major letdown.
    Couldn't even finish my food.
The servers were nice and fast. That's the only positive.
