Loving all the vids man, do more avenged sevenfold tho I would love to see you react to the song fiction it half written by the drummer before he died, it's a great tune...anyway hit me back just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan... ;D
Not a single fleck of shame in admitting that the “I die for Em and save Hailie” line made me tearful man. This is true friendship talking man. What a waste of talent and compassion. You said it straight Preston - no wonder em was depressed - he lost a real friend.
Diurno MX yeah man, I thought that was common knowledge? Dunno if you misread something I typed? I’ve followed Em for 22 years so that isn’t news to me bro.
They knew each other so long they was family not just a good friend. I have a friend just like that I knew since 1988 since I was 5 years old. Now I'm 35
Diurno MX Listen man this sounds like crossed wires right here. I totally feel you in what your saying, I think you took my words and maybe interpreted them in a way I totally didn’t intend them to be read. My initial comment was to Preston bro. I know the history and meaning behind Em and Proof, sorry if my dictation seemed to understate that but I can assure you I’m on your page man.
Proof is the greatest rapper you’ve never heard. I could barely listen to this without crying. He was the one man. The one. He had that poet soul. Deep like Pac. Real like Andre. Brutally Honest like Eminem. Flow and sound and style and story to tell only like PROOF. Not just a friend, Em and he were brothers man. Brothers. I’ve lost so many people, friends murdered and od’s, all my family including both my parents, it’s easier to count the ones I didn’t and haven’t lost. I know that pain very well. It’s a hole you can’t climb out of, cold and dark, and it feels like life has no meaning if all you do is die in the end anyway. It’s a very bad place. Proof left us wayyyyy to soon, just as he was on the cusp of making an incredible run of solo albums; you can hear it here, he was ready to make his debut on the world stage as his own MC. He had SO much more inside him, he barely got started. What he and Em could have done TOGETHER??? I can’t talk about it, I’m tearing up.
This track is much more crazy than you guys think!! These are two quotes from a Producer named Emile, he worked with Proof on this track. “That’s definitely the most special record I’ve ever done and will ever do. It’s Proof saying goodbye to the world. It’s a really heavy song. The day that we did it, we were driving around in his car listening to my beats, and we kept listening to that one over and over and we were going to see his uncle who was on his death bed. I went to the hospital with him to see his uncle. Like I said, when you went to Detroit to see Proof, you were with Proof.” - Emile (Producer) “The song that Proof wrote that he speaks to his dad on, that’s kind of a goodbye letter, the music [from the sample] was written and produced by his dad. We had no fucking idea. This was a total coincidence. Only in hip hop would something like this happen. Like I said, it’s the most special record I’ve ever done and will ever do.” - Emile How buzzy is that!!
I was fighting back tears listening to this. Each word he said was straight from the heart. This, in a way, was a goodbye letter. ugh! so sad. Maybe now with CZcams and other platforms, Proof can finally get the recognition he deserved when he was alive. I can't wait to hear more.
I love Proof I was 16 when he died a part of my hip hop soul died when big Proof passed away Eminem has kept his legacy alive.... RIP BIG PROOF #ShadyFamily
You’re never over - Eminem Please bro’! The song is deep, you’ll love it. Congrats from France, love your reactions videos, thanks to you, i understand songs better !

@@matt37032 Yeah Proof was the glue to the group. Em was going throu a lot himself that he couldn't carry the group on his own. Thought was a great great song
Sorry bro, just checked him out and he's trash. Also just read this article about how he doesn't care about real hip-hop and he might just make very non lyrical music just to piss his dad's friends off.
I didn't check him out so idk if he's trash, but what you said that he said is wrong. He said “Lol i should purposely make non-lyrical music to piss my dads fans off. I don’t make music for you all nor do i care to cater towards you…”. He said this because he was pissed at everyone for whatever that reason was. He didn't say he didn't care about real hip hop, so idk what you're talking about.
@@EGB_469 you just said you haven't checked him out. Check him out and then tell me if he sounds like he gives a fuck about hip-hop. Also, Eminem told him he wouldn't help him out anymore.
Man these videos got me wishing I could fly to the states, chill with king KTF and talk music shit with him lmao. You a real one bro! Your videos make my day. AND LET THE PROOF BINGE BEGIN!
thats what was crazy about proof, u would have never known he was famous, he hung at all the same spots and never acted like he wanted special treatment, being from around same area as him, u would see him at all kinds of spots u wouldnt think u would see a star. The down side is that is kind of what got him killed was that he was in bars in the hood and not mobb deep either, him and another homie like a normal dude
Thank you for reacting to this song! One of my fav songs ever! I was front roll at a D12 show in Atlanta not long before he passed. I caught proof stage diving into the crowd. He was one the realist ever!!! After the show he didn't get in a limo, or SUV with security my man walked down the streets smoking a blunt back to the hotel. Love that man!!! Rip proof!!!
Clicked on this because of the name Kurt Cobain. So I guess it was named after him because In this song proof writes a fictional suicide letter. The theme of suicide is evident on the album ‘Searching for Jerry Garcia’ also in the song ‘Jump Biatch’. There is a dead celebrity theme on the album as well. Jerry Garcia, along with that Jump Biatch was originally called Eric Clapton Jr. Hence why this song is named after Kurt Cobain who committed suicide in 1994. Although Proof thought his death was suspicious and was uncertain it was suicide.
King KTF, yo do Eminem-Difficult, it's a tribute to Proof, you can feel the pain in Em's voice. You're never over is great too, but this has that raw feeling too it and you feel the pain. As I'm typing this, I'm trying to remember if you did this one.... If you did, thanks, if not... You will definitely like it man
Man, you could always tell how much Proof meant to Em through all the lyrics in his songs, but seeing how much Em meant to Proof as well, damn. And Proof was a great rapper! Didn't Em say on a song that he and Proof lyrically mirrored each other? He was the one that taught Em about battle rapping and encouraged him to try it out himself. Honestly, an Em and Proof album would have been pure gold. He also really seemed like the type of guy that held everything and everyone together. No wonder his death impacted everyone, especially Eminem, so deeply. RIP Big Proof.
This flow... You can hear the emotion in his voice. Frfr a joint album with em and proof would of been amazing. Both of them put their all into it when they sing

This song is very important to me. Any one chime in to the fact that proof knew he was about to be killed. On his cover of his only album he’s wrestling with a skeleton. Inside his limited edition album he is writing a song on paper that’s covered with blood and bullets. Also even more strange there is a music video called toys soldiers by Eminem. In the video proof is on a stretcher dying after being shot up. A year later he’s shot and killed. The game is an illusion like proof says in this song. Remember the devils greatest trick is convincing the world he doesn’t exists. I love you big Proof.......
Aaah fuck bro! So. Much. Potential. Man this HURTS to listen to. I swear when Marshall lost his best friend it felt like we all lost a best friend. RIP BIG PROOF ❤

He would have been something else, Eminem often said he was the best rapper he'd ever seen and that he could improvise a freestyle like nobody else, like he'd maybe have a line or two planned out before hand and he could just do the rest off the top of his head. Crazy. This song also lead me to check out Lamont Dozier who they sampled the piano portion of this from...I have such over the place taste in music but loved that too lol

I feel you. Gone too soon. When I hear Proof I think not of those who jump on videos or think they can rap... cause they own the company or found the rappers. I think of him like I think of old school rappers that built a foundation. This is as real as it gets... especially since he's no longer with us. Thank God for the internet and youtube... we would have never heard of him unless we were local to their scene or bought Em's albums, watched interviews, etc..

You gotta do proof - forgive me then Eminem -your never over!!!! Great reaction keep it up love all you vids!!!!!
That was dope asf.. Never heard that before so ty.. Mumford and Sons "below my feet" 😊
Still love this reaction video KTF I was same as yourself the song makes you feel some way it gives you chills because it feels so real story telling in hip hop

I miss proof. He was actually my favorite. A Proof and Eminem album would've, could've, should've been...
Brian Lokenall It would've been a fire album.
This song....Wow. I have no words.
Proof - Life, produced by J Dilla is a classic.
That whole Funky cowboys album by J.Dilla and Proof is hip-hop in it s truest form if you ask me!
Also the Promatic album was amazing
