I’ve been working on a wedding journal/memory scrapbook for my son and daughter in law. It is long overdue and I finally had to be brave and cut out the hidden spine of the our purchased journal & remove some of the signatures, recreate the spine and sewed it back in. This was a first for me as I’d never created a journal before. So I’m happy with the results and have finally given the gift to them. They are thrilled and said it was worth the wait. Now on to volume 2 which I will create from scratch.

I'm green with envy over all that beautiful mail. I have loved stamps since I was a child and the collection I have is MIA, which makes me 😫. I have been through 2 different sets of family members(our children) living with us. My attic is packed full of our things, so I'm praying it's up there. Hopefully, I will find out soon, since I have been on a clean up and organizing rampage. Anyways, I love that "beautiful" work of art. You out did yourself. And, that new member of the family is adorable. Hope to have another one day after I tame my home.

My "no stitch" version is to use a long-arm stapler. I got one on Amazon for $10-$12, and it's awesome! I've made a couple jjs with them. I have videos showing you how I do it, too 😉💙

I'm doing it, but I was born and raised in California, and 5 years ago relocated to Florida. Which way should I go, or should I split the difference and do both?
I just watched your vlog and plasterboard video again. I have been making my master boards on 12 x 12 card stock . I use glue stick, but after cutting it into postcards ,I still have to put it under heavy books. So I wonder , when you make your master board on paper , how you keep it from warping.
I sometimes do have problems with this, Jean. What kind of glue are you using? I'm constantly bending the masterboard backwards when I see that it's curling, just to make it straight again before it dries permanently. When I am done with a section and will step away, I turn it over so it's laying flat and let it set overnight or several hours. I even will set heavy things on it if I see that it is bending after I have glued.

I'd say go with ever one makes you happier to work on. Or, as you say, split the difference 😄

I bought it on eBay. Once in a while I'll do a search for rubber stamps, just to see what pops up 😉💜👍

I just watched your vlog and plasterboard video again. I have been making my master boards on 12 x 12 card stock . I use glue stick, but after cutting it into postcards ,I still have to put it under heavy books. So I wonder , when you make your master board on paper , how you keep it from warping.
I sometimes do have problems with this, Jean. What kind of glue are you using? I'm constantly bending the masterboard backwards when I see that it's curling, just to make it straight again before it dries permanently. When I am done with a section and will step away, I turn it over so it's laying flat and let it set overnight or several hours. I even will set heavy things on it if I see that it is bending after I have glued.

Most of the time I look for ways to fit them in the pockets and keep them in (or close by) the beautifully decorated envelopes. 💜
