- WHAT ARE YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS OR GOALS? đ Today we're building a modern eco-inspired inspired home in Toluca Lake California. I found this home for sale while looking at real estate in the USA and thought that it would look super cool for a Real to Sims build! I tried some new tricks with creating a custom fireplace, custom sleek wood cabinets in the kitchen, and a new roofing technique. My familyâs are normally 3-4 people but I like having the extra bedrooms for things like offices and playrooms
I'd say my overall goal is to be more mindful about how I'm spending my time. I started by not watching TV/CZcams while I eat and I've already noticed a difference in my mood and productivityđ Btw as a bathroom lover, I thought the downstairs bathroom in this house was super cute with the little plant shelf! I'd love to see what you'd do with a CC bathroom kit. There are some really nice ones out there!
i'm from Northern California but I always admired the architecture in Southern California and i really love how well you captured it here. i have a feeling i'm gonna really enjoy this series!
I will never understand the complaints Oasis Springs gets about lighting. I never have a problem. Switch the time to afternoon.
I typically have 3 to 6 kids in the sims. Never one child unless itâs necessary for my desired storyline. Iâm a big fan type of gal
Gorgeous home. I never, ever build in Oasis Springs. Hate it. Probably because I lived for nearly a decade in a tiny, desert town in the middle of Australia. I HATE red dirt with a passion. I crave green.

my new years resolution is to not go on social media as much and actually use my time limit on my phone instead of just hitting ignore every day LOL
Iâm personally not a fan of bathrooms, but I try to make them more interesting by adding decor , clutter, and pictures. I agree though, I think coming out with a bathroom pack would make designing bathrooms a lot more exciting.

I have build in Oasis springs few minutes but my builds are colourful, if was using white colour, I switch the time of day to afternoon or evening so the lighting wasn't too bad

Toluca Lake is definitely semi-bougey - 3.5 million isnât too steep for a decent neighborhood in LA. Toluca Lake is in the Valley. Itâs near lots of studios and production companies - Iâve worked there a bunch. But North Hollywood = the Valley, which means itâs always 10+ degrees hotter than Hollywood, so I wouldnât want to live there. I hate heat. Beautiful build!! And I usually need approximately 3 - 4 bed homes. :)

Nice home. I usually build for 4-6 sims plus pets. Oh and I love building in Oasis Springs! Whites looking beige there doesnât bother me.
I tend to make mine for a family of two but I make more bedrooms for like offices and guest rooms

Ay! Ima new subscriber, like literally just subscriber a few minutes ago. I love this house, and i am new to the sims 4 and it helps to have tips. I feel like my building skills are good cause i play bloxburg on roblox a lot and my skills are pretty good there, but this isnât bloxburg. I have also found I like the sims like 10 times more than bloxburg so ya. I canât wait to see more houses cause from this video you look like an incredible builder!

Toluca Lake is a "fancy" area. You have a lot of celebrities who dont want to be in the Hills or more traffic areas. Its also really close to the major studios/Burbank. Almost bought a house in Burbank right across the street from Toluca Lake. If you want full bars at Halloween, you go to Toluca Lake.

I prefer 1 story homes, but I still like the home to be luxury. I also tend to play with 1-3 sim household.
Oh, yeah, you talked about bathrooms. Idk if you have ever watched a video with Petey plays it but he has amazing ideas to improve aspects of the game. Recently he did a video on bathrooms.
hey ashley, i have a interesting idea that you can do so you can â¨evolve⨠your building career and try different things. you should put colors for the house theme on a roulette/generator and areas around the house you should focus on (the main element). whatever the generator lands on, you should build a house based on what it picked!
(ex: generator picked pink, green, and bathroom. these should be the star elements of the house)
It's just like this house was build in real just to get rebuild in Sims 4 lul ^^ I just wonder all the time again how realistic Sims 4 builds are if u spend enough time for the main house shape. As cartoonish as Sims 4 is it is still the best house build game in the world i think. Also without reshades
Other than San Myshuno Oasis Spring is the second world I spend most of my gameplay. Mostly have Mediterranean or Mid Century houses in Oasis Spring. I would suggest building those type of houses.
Firstly, I often have a three-child family and sometimes just one child. Realistically a 3 or 4 bedroom home sells better.
As to goals, no resolutions but realistic personal goals related to my walking, volunteering, time with family. I'm a retiree living in western Canada
