Victoria Sponge Cake [Betty Crocker Cake Mix] Easy and Fast

Easy to make Victoria Sponge Cake with a box cake mix.
Victoria Sponge Cake
Ingredients:
1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist vanilla cake mix
1 c milk
3 eggs
1/3 c butter, melted
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 c strawberry jam
2 tbs powdered sugar
2-4 fresh strawberries for decorating
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350* degrees.
2. In a large mixing bowl combine cake mix, milk, eggs and melted butter and mix with a hand mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
3. Pour cake batter into a greased 10” cake tin and bake for 22-28 minutes or until your cake tester comes out clean.
4. Let cake cool in the tin for 15 minutes before turning it out and then let cool completely.
5. Using a serrated knife carefully cut the cake in half so you have a top and bottom layer.
6. Spread the strawberry jam on the bottom layer, set aside.
7. Using a stand mixer with whisk attachment add the heavy whipping cream and beat on medium high speed for 3-5 minutes or until the cream is at a desired consistency.
8. Add the whipped cream to the bottom layer and smooth out evenly.
9. Add the top cake layer and dust with powdered sugar and then add more whipped cream to the center.
10. Top with fresh strawberries for decoration.
