    In regards to the 'myth', that Arsene Wenger, has transformed Arsenal FC, way of playing football, etc, is completely False.
    If you would like to know the truth, about the Arsenal FC way, the Facts, please review the 1988 - 1989 season.
    The team was managed by George Graham (not forgetting, he brought in IAN WRIGHT,1991), and the team of players speaks for itself. I’ve gotta name some:
    ( John Lukic, TONY ADAMS, Steve Bould, LEE DIXON, Brian Marwood, DAVID O’LEARY, Kevin Richardson, NIGEL WINTERBURN, DAVID ROCASTLE, Gus Caesar, MICHAEL THOMAS, (young Kevin Campbell), PAUL MERSON, Niall Quinn, Perry Groves and ALAN SMITH )
    From the list above, you can now recall, we had a squad of 'flair' / top quality players. Yes, the team won games, 1 nil. But they also won games by 2 goals and more.
    And !
    What they accomplished, in the final game of that season, was astonishing.
    Yes, the team of " Invincibles ", achieved something great.
    But !
    Could that team, under the management of Arsene Wenger, manage to pull of a victory, similar to what George Graham’s team managed to do, in 1989 at 'Anfield', Liverpool ?
    At the end of the day, the talk about Arsene Wenger, transforming the Arsenal football way, is a Myth.
    And !
    It’s time for him, to show his love for the club, by handing in, his resignation or state that he’s leaving, at the end of this season.

    Arsenal need prayer. Sacking Wenger, getting a new starting 11, getting a new Board are all not enough. Arsenal is dying and there is nothing any human can do. The stadium would have been big, but no one could have predicted the TV money that the league now shares. No one knew Man City would have been bought by a country. When Wenger was competing with Fergie and Jose he was at his best (because he was getting top four without the great back-line and with players leaving each year in serch of glory) and if the revenue was coming in at the same rate as in the pre mega TV deals era then Arsene would be sailing well. The fact that Everton have new investments, Tottenham have a great young manager and Liverpool are playing fantastic football means Wenger has stood still. It's not as simple as sacking him, but it requires a miracle for the club to be sorted out. Arsenal might end up like Newcastle and West Ham over the course of the next two decades. Pouring hate towards the club and manager is understandable, but the board has shown it's not prepared and the squad shows it's in limbo. So what is there to do, but pray for the club? The club is weakness embodied, frailty imprisoned in a glass cage of tragedy. There is no hope for a new manager or the current manager. The decline is not because Wenger has lost the plot, but because the old professor is at his limits now. "The club is falling apart" will be the new banners once this atrocity of hate, anger and inner-conflict is over.

  • @stuwkd123
    @stuwkd123 Před 6 lety

    It wouldn't be nice to see Wenger sacked because he loves Arsenal and although he's taken the club backwards in recent years, he's still done so much for the club. He needs to be the one to know his limits and say enough is enough. He's letting his personal pride cloud his judgement. In an ideal world he would love to clock off and leave Arsenal in a period of success, but it doesn't always work out like that. It must be really hard for the bloke to walk away now with how poor things are, but it could potentially get a lot worse. I think the warning signs have been there for a lot of years now, but last season the cracks were really starting to show, and this season its gotten really toxic. He should of left at the end of last season. He could of done himself justice at the end of last season, and came out in an emotional interview and said it pains him by the fact he can't take the club any further forward. We would all be sitting here now saying he was one of the best and a legend of the game, but now it's gotten extremely toxic and fans are going to start disliking the bloke. I think the people upstairs are to blame even more then he is, because no manager should have such security in a job. It's making his job difficult.

    *Money isnt why we have lost 10 matches. The money argument would work if Arsenal barely lost out on the league. Money also doesnt guarantee success. How did Leicester win the league? or Montpellier in France? Wolfsburg?? We currently have one of Europe's top goal scorers in Auba and He is being made to look mediocre. How do you blame money, Kroenke etc for that. This money argument is dumb. Thinking that winning the league is dependent on the price you pay for John Stones is purely silly. So according to these guys, if we were to offer West Brom R90m for Hegazi that would automatically give us the right to compete???*

    • @jidf32
      @jidf32 Před 6 lety

      Erm, Man City had invested money when Leicester won the league. And when Chelsea won the league. Atletico won La Liga sith Barca and Real Madrid spending more than 5 times what they spent on players. And they didnt have world beaters. Football is about tactics and attitudes towards games, not just player pricetags

    • @jaylintz3200
      @jaylintz3200 Před 6 lety

      jidf32 ermmm now tell me how many times barca/madrid have won champions league and la liga and other Trophies as opposed to atheltico? And Leicester city’s one off fluke. Even Chelsea went and invested money lets not forget they are current prem champions!?!? and oohhh the other team man city that are about to win the league and have already won a trophy... and could go on to win champs league. Allllllll said teams invest heavily every year. where is Leicester???? Gtfoh

    • @jidf32
      @jidf32 Před 6 lety

      Hahahahah, do you know when the new age Galacticos project started? year 2001 And they only won the Champions league once in 14 years . After buying Ronaldo, Zidane, Beckham, Figo etc. They spent more money than just about every team and never won till 2014. And Leicester city wasnt a fluke. the league is 38 matches and they only lost 3 matches all season. There is no such thing as a 38 match fluke. Chelsea invested less than City and United and still won. It's quite funny how you want to credit money for the big teams winning leagues and want to claim fluke when Montpellier, Atletico, Wolfsburg, Leicester etc win the leagues. quite silly but amusing still. Money doesnt Guarantee success. Right now Real Madrid are behind Atletico yet they have invested heavily. Money Think that buying John Stones for 50million makes should guarantee you brilliance is as silly as thinking that because Andy Carrol was bought by liverpool for 35million at the time he would be top goal scorer

    • @jaylintz3200
      @jaylintz3200 Před 6 lety

      jidf32 the teams you mention have won it once you are a clown. The teams i mention regularly win things either the league or champions league. I like you failed to mention barca. As if they dont invest either. How much was countinho again? How much was dembelle? the teams you mention are not in champions league finals or semi finals like the ones who invest heavily you know why? BECAUSE THEY DONT SPENT AS MUCH MONEYYY. John stone 50 million dont fail to mention the rest of the 300+ million defenders brought. Like it or lump it the winners all spend BIG MONEY

    Subjectivity can't be "the whole point" of a multi billion dollar revenue competitive sport. Simplify the rules and retrain the refs with a new an definitive set of rules. Take the subjectivity out of officiating. I heard the the head ref explain why a studs up reckless tackle was not a straight red, his explaination, because the player making the tackle was slowed down by friction which reduced the intensity of the contact. Why is it so hard for them to rule on something like a dangerous tackle?

    Everyone want to give Wenger a royal send-off except Wenger himself. The guy is addicted to Arsenal, I won't be surprised if he asked for a new contract. Players are (and rightfully so) trying to get him sacked just like Chelsea did with Jose. However, Arsene Wenger will never leave Arsenal until the board sacks him, and if the board is unwilling to do so, then he will stay there forever.

    VAR will ruin the beauty and flow of the game, once Soccer/ Football people figure it out just watch and see what it does to the sport. You don't think so watch the NFL, play after play after play is reviewed and what do you get COMMERCIALS!!! I know it's a very different sport and the flow of the game is different but that still doesn't change the fact that video review is heavily involved and adds to the commercial breaks. A simple 90+ minute game will turn into 3 to 4 hours. Mistakes are made by the refs but that's because we are human, that's what makes this sport so AMAZING!! Adding VAR takes away from that emotion. My opinion it's the worst decision that's been made by Football reps. Hopefully I'm wrong and it all works out but if it does it's going to take sometime and fans will grow angry and impatient with it.

    VAR - Why not have robots playing the game then the computers can decide instantly via wireless! I’ll send an Avatar clone to the game and we’ll all have more time. Pay the robots in bitcoin and spend the spare wages on developing new tec. 😂

    We gonna get rid of conte after we lose to barca then get a new manager and win the league again will do that over and over atlist we are winning leagues(life cycle) while arsen fc give wenger 2years contract and a pay rise for finishing 6th

    How the hell are these pundits gonna say arsenal cant attract a top manager when liverpool were able to attract klop and they were in a worse position than we are. Shutup man. if we can pay 60 million for a player we can pay a manager 10 million a year why isnt he gonna come. we already pay wenger 10 million a year. allegri simeon enrique all got half of that.

      @jakrismcfc Před 6 lety

      the t man t you say you bought a top striker for 60m like you splashed the cash which isn’t true, you sold a lot of players and your books are still balanced - hence why kroenke loves Wenger

    • @thetmant8862
      @thetmant8862 Před 6 lety

      i dont understand the point in ur comment. i say we bought the striker for 60 mil cos we did. makes good business sense to balance ur books and still spend 60 mil. so u didnt have a point there. then u say hence why kronkee loves wenger. well my point was about the pundits saying we cant get a world class manager. so your statemnt there had nothing to do with my point. Im lost bro

    is it just me or most journalists are just clueless, argumentative, biased and most of the time just trying to be a flippin d**k?at best they are just clickbaiting and join popular bandwagons they come across recently. at least former players turned pundits give us insights that fascinates us. I read Martin Samuel column in daily mail, I know he doesn't feature in this video, but god, all he does is put people down when the readers gave fair and valid points.

    These guys know very little about football I'm afraid. Manchester United were champs when Fergie left. Arsenal are 6th in the league so it's nothing like Manchester United because how do you better winning league?? It's quite easy to better 6th in the table. Spend £130 million on 3 defensive minded players then another £80 million on a goal keeper and a wing back. Defence is terrible can only get better

    I'm sure this MUST be possible with today's technology, but couldn't there just be a birds eye view of the pitch using 2 cameras for each half, then code a simple program that works in real time (that follows the players movement using straight lines ) that can see offsides instantly that are irrefutable....this in-turn alerts the referee via the refs watch? This would get rid of linesman's mistakes and allow more eyes on the pitch for the 3 officials to call out fouls and penalties...I know I may have just made all the premier league linesman redundant but FOOTBALL...
    No VAR needed.
