  • Contradiction disposition to
In this video Dr. Shrikant talks about the rubric Contradiction disposition to. Contradict means a combination of statements or ideas about a particular situation that are opposed to one another, something being the complete opposite of something else. That one of them must be wrong. This is the dictionary meaning of the rubric. When we study remedies we have to look at the provings and from this we will get an idea about what expression is there in the patient.
The topmost remedies of this rubric are very mentally angry, they talk a lot, they don't give space for the opposite person to express their opinion, There is a sense of ego, they feel what the opposite person is doing is wrong. They say do as I say, don't ask me why.
So there is a victim and one dominates over the other. And moreover there is a disposition to do it with everybody
Following are the topmost remedies and how they express their anger.
    1. Hepar Sulph- They talk very angrily and will not let the opposite person say anything. They can hit, strike or even kill people. They will become violet, strike, or go to kill when somebody contradicts them.
    2. Aurum met- These people cannot stand contradiction in any way. Dr. Shrikant shares a case which shows how an Aurum Met patient would react.
    3. Cantharis - These people do what they desire in terms of food, sexuality, housing etc. They have no morality. They enjoy luxury and if someone contradicts them, they ask who are you to tell me.
    4. Causticum -These people are sensitive to injustice or suffering of others and when they go to protest they don’t listen to anyone. They feel if something is right, it should be done,
    5. Lycopodium - These people will be soft to superiors and hard on inferiors. They don't like anyone teaching them and if they do so they get angry and say “Shut up don't teach me”
These are the examples of expressions shown
    Cross references:
    1. Contradiction intolerant of
    2. Contrary
These rubrics will be explained in the next video
