Looks a great heater Martin. I lost my original one in the fire, but would like to put the one in the house into the shed. I've been worried the exhaust getting too hot on the wood, but didn't have any trouble with the other one but now scared of fire.
    Take care, Jeff

I was given a brand new in the box Maxpeedingrods 5kw diesel heater by a friend. It sat in the box unused for almost a year. After about three months post installation it started playing up. I would get a fan error. E8. Eventually it became unusable. I replaced the motor and fan unit. I pulled the original motor apart. The failure was due to the brushes being carelessly installed at the factory. The braid was rubbing on the brush holder and preventing the brush from making contact with the commutator. As a result the commutator showed signs of burning. Also the orange fuel tank cap split around the edge. I never over-tightened it. There is no need to spend extra money on a branded diesel heater they are all made the same way and probably in the same factories.

You don’t need to take out the clip from pump connector! Push it in it releases

Just fitted one of these from same company. Looks like buying a lower priced model with same functions would save a lot. A company adding better quality clips, fuel line, exhaust wrap, sachet of exhaust paste with a clear instruction book would do well. It seems most people bin sub par components straight away. Handy that the tank has threaded section at the bottom but any rubbish which lays at bottom of tank will collect there and get drawn in. I inserted about 25mm of the fuel pipe inside the threaded section which would stand clear of the impurities at the bottom of tank. It may be overkill but first time I've installed one of these.

These heaters are pretty much all the same and i’ve had them for around 15 yrs now, I’m amazed that people are only just discovering them as you probably are too. The real developments are in the controllers and this one looks super simple,,,, I wonder if they sell the controller separately with an adapter for the classic chinese heater as this would be a top seller to my mind, great video martin 🤟🏻

Why have you not purged it all before priming the pump ! You could have release line going into pump filling filter and line before priming pump !

Nice demo martin. Very easy to under stand. I saw one like it on ants pants channel but a different brand i think. I dont know how u'd use it in a vehicle unless it was a van or motorhome. As always, thanx for sharin!

Good Vid Martin, but I wouldn't use those thin mouting plates on a van, nearly set mine of fire. Ended up getting a heavy duty turret plate and fitting that for safety.

Hi great video, just a question if the installation needs an intake hose rather than the square grill how do you fit it on? as my application needs ducting hose on air inlet and heat outlet sides?

You did a good demo, and it is quiet. What is its price compared to the one you have mounted? Is the overall quality equal to the other units, better. Worse?

family gift 🎁 ideas 💡 Solar Generators. The grid is old. we still have brown outs sometimes on-off back on. Winter bigger demands transformers just blow. Family members who have c-pap machines to kids night lights fish tanks. You need to shop accordingly. Yes they are pricey but no gas or oil to fool with. Run a computer 💻 so kids can play games. Check owners manual for power requirements. if you buy a unit under powered you will break the electronics. Jackery for example goes by watts. their newest one is 2,000 watts on wheels that unit is great for water kettles to your air fryers to pellet grills. The 1,000 watt will run Trager small tail gator unit. But be mindful charging by the sun with solar takes a while but with jackery you can use the panels alone to plug usb things. Blue etti is great to. both have usb and house hold plugs. 🔌 Jackery rule keep units out direct sun light panels only. neither are water proof. Jackery has usb led light 💡 string to hang low/medium/high settings.
