Thank you for these episodes from the Smithsonian, Jordan!! I’m 73 and will not get there myself so this is even better ;-)
My pleasure!
Thank you for showing cool Smithsonian it's a place I've always wanted to go!!
Interesting to think that when these items were being used, no one knew they would end up in a museum someday.
Re: the kids. It's the end of the school year -- April/May, field trips abound. Not the best time to visit. Thanks for hanging in there Jordan. The Smithsonian is a treasure.
April is the end of the year. End of May and part of June depending on schools and the part of the country. Per someone who have worked in the schools for about 20byears and have niece and nephews still in school and friends with kids.
I'm living my bucket list vicariously through your videos! Thank you Jordan! 💖
My favorite item in the Presidential wing has to be George Washington's uniform. To think of the man that once donned it as he posed for the portrait shown right to the left of it almost brings a tear to my eye. We're lucky to have such greatly preserved artifacts on display for all to see. Now, my favorite display in the museum entire is the actual Star-Spangled Banner which flew over Fort McHenry as Francis Scott Key penned what would become the lyrics to our national anthem. Quite literally took my breath away. Great video!
The First Ladies Dress section was really good too.
@@Geathers101 Sure was!
If you ever watch the HBO John Adams series, one of the best moments is when Washington was inaugurated.
There is a big crowd waiting outside. When he comes out: the cheers!!! ❤
They had only seen him in either a painting or drawing. There was no photography yet...but everyone knew who he was. 🎉
Me too! I was just there last week, blew me away
Very cool! It was nice to join you in this walk!
Love that you are focusing on so much of the eastern Atlantic! Can't wait to see more vlogs from Virginia!
The noise from the kids is overwhelming! They sound too young to appreciate the displays. So glad I can see on here vs in-person! Thanks Jordan!
The whole place was loaded with screaming kids. It was unavoidable
Adults with children like history too 😂
I think it is great that these things have been perserved so that we can see them and I thank you Jordan for showing them to us Cheri
I like both videos about Lincoln and president Hall at the Smithsonian thank for sharing this with us
Bell's device worked - The bedsprings were interfering with finding the location of the bullet in Garfield . . .
Another fine installment with Jordan the Lion. I have been to DC a total of 4 times, enjoyed every second of it. I still have yet to see everything. So much history.
I would love to go back myself. I was 11 when I got to go my first and only time. I am now 40.
Loved the "glorious burden" line.
I know which side of that question I stand on.
I definitely agree.
Regardless of political party, whoever gets chosen as president is just another scapegoat/mouth piece for the organizations that truly own most of the world.
Every government is corrupt and manipulated and at this point I'm not sure how much longer the world will survive under the current structure of government.
the dresses!!! wow!!!!!
Terrific! The presentation of all the president’s and First Ladies belongs are fascinating! Love the gowns!! Wow…😮
Amazing & fascinating, pieces of our history. Fully enjoyed, thank you.
I saw this when I was there. And it was so breathtaking for me. But of course I love history too. I want to go back sooo bad and take a couple of days or 3 days to just take my time and look at everything ❤
Such a terrific video, and I thank you for filming it. It was interesting to see how the exhibit has changed over the decades!
Hey Jordan, from Kelly in East Tennessee!!!
Awesome video as Always!!!!
Thank you!!!! Loved it!! ✨️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✨️😇
Thanks Jordan that place was awesome I enjoyed watching learning about the past
I’m curious if Lincoln’s hat 🎩 looked brown and kind of patchy from the lighting, or was it actually like that in person? TY!
Beaver felt does that ove 100 years
Whenever you do anything involving Abe, you have me totally enthralled.😊
I don’t like to dislike anyone but I can’t stand John Wilkes Booth. 😡
Thank you Jordan, it must feel good to see it all in person.❤Jodie 🇦🇺

I haven’t been to the Smithsonian I over 10+ years.. there is a lot of different stuff there then when I went.. I need to go back. I love all the dresses. When I went they had Jackie Kennedy’s famous pink dress.. it was amazing yet sad to see.
Fantastic and fascinating! Thank you Jordan for bringing this for all to enjoy! Loved all the Lincoln vids especially the theater! Wow, the feeling was palpable as you walked through the back hallway! Intense! Wish I could go there in person.

What has happened to consideration for other people? The teacher should have a talk with her students beforehand about how to behave in public.
Thanks again for sharing J and J
Thank you Jordan, I have always wanted to go . Great tour ❤
John Wilkes Booth didn't break his ankle. He had a few broken bones in his foot. There is a great CZcams video of someone who was there

Great video. I haven't been to the Smithsonian in years. Your video is better than actually being there! Thank you.
The coolest video I've ever seen with great historical artifacts awesome makes me wanna take a trip to DC
This was so interesting. To see so many items from the past was fascinating. Lincoln's hat was cool to see & all the dresses from the First Ladies too. It's awesome that so many children were there to experience the history of our country. I loved that you reminded us that the White House is the people's house. Great vlog! 🎩
The story of how many times Lincolns body had to be reburied is crazy
Hey Jordan! I greatly enjoy your history museum videos dude. It's like I'm really there with you bro lol. Keep up the great work man!
Thank you ❤🇺🇸❤️
Very nice!
Wow that's amazing and extremely impressive thank you for the tour of this very beautiful place, thank you Jordon from ya English west Yorkshire friend Rodders 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Yes, Lucie Baines Johnson was the youngest daughter of LBJ.
While i am not into dresses, they do look a lot more elaborate when seen straight.
Great vid
thanx Jordan from the LBK
I have been to the Smithsonian, loved going there. Loved going to DC, highly recommend going to the Smithsonian, it is definitely a separate trip of its own. I also highly recommend going to the Holocaust memorial museum. I miss DC ever so much.
Nice vlog!
I played at White House with my band in 2007/8 for Congressionsl holiday party then we went back to White House and played Laura Bush’s class reunion party. Very cool for a history buff like me
Love the dresses!
Wow that was really nice you need to do a series of all the presidents lol just as I was getting into the video it was over great job 😊
Jordan I love your videos and especially this one bc I’m such a history buff. I’ve been following you for a long time now. May I suggest a location for you to vlog one day, it’s the Samuel Pennypacker house in Montgomery county Pennsylvania. George Washington stayed there a few times and the history of that house is awesome! Pennypacker was at one time the governor of Pennsylvania who has a quite the background for Pennsylvania. Just a thought. Thanks for the videos and keep up the great work!
I was in Baltimore a few years ago and a history buff however I unfortunately wasn’t able to get to the Smithsonian, fords theater, which do plan on doing when I go back up that way I did however manage to go to the Washington monument,Lincoln’s memorial and the beautiful humbling Arlington cemetery which I enjoyed very much I did many many years ago see a few historical items in the traveling Smithsonian exhibit the red slippers from the wizard of oz,Lincoln’s top hat were my two favorite pieces that were on display thank you for sharing this cool video I enjoy watching your videos Gid bless safe travels
As kids, we never went to D.C. by car or by plane. When in Baltimore on vacation, we'd take the train to D.C. with mama and spend the day, returning to Baltimore for dinnertime. We got to see lots and lots of the city, once on a bus tour and other times walking our little feet off. But our favorite place was the Smithsonian complex. We once spent the whole day in one museum. It's a lot different now, and I'm sure I don't have any concept of how crowd sizes and timed admissions have changed things as well, but it still must be just THE place to go in the United States for getting up close and personal with what nature and history have gifted to us. If you want to see the Smithsonian, you must make it so! 😉
Great job Jordan! Very informative. Thanks for taking us along!😊
I was there a few years back....
The ballot box from Fulton County Georgia is applicable today.
Was the Mary Todd Lincoln dress made by Elizabeth Keckley, her African American friend and seamstress?
very cool, i need to go see the smithsonian and get film for my channel as well...good job, love history
👍Hello!
☕☀️
I wonder what happens to Jackie Kennedy’s pink dress during JFK assassination ? PS: it should be in a museum
cool
Welcome To DC 😊
I saw Thomas Jefferson's Polygraph at his Poplar Forest last month
I haven't been ther since i was 11. I don't remember any of this stuff. I think it is time to go back to D.C. 😂
Small fyi. At 0:12 it’s the Smithsonian Institution … not “institute”.
Coach force one!
Later Lincoln became The Immortal
when i was a kid long ago, henry ford museum had the chair lincoln was sitting in when he was shot.
I think they still have it.
Yes, it is still there
Bottom left of those Abe conspirators looks like Liam Neeson top left Johnny Depp
Awesome video! Thank you so much! Awesome!
I wish the lady in the background would be quiet.
Some of these has to be replicas way to fresh
Awesome place thank you
My community streets are named after presidents
The hat itself..madd hatter,😔
They didn’t take care of Lincoln’s hat!
That's normal aging. Beaver pelt does that. Keep in mind hats and clothes were made from actual skins and fur, wool, because synthetic products didn't exist.
sad presidents today dont think like this its all about there self
if I was voting right now,I either write Boba Fett or Jaba the Hut
Was that the hat he wore the night he
Was shot s👌
Kid's are driving me bonkers
