Awesome! I live in Greenville SC now. And our PD does virtual ride alongs. Documenting an officers day start to finish.
This is awesome on so many levels. Good to see those who serve and protect have a little fun.
This is really a good way for people on social media to see what toledo police is really like, the social media team should try to get a vlogger to do a ride along with you guys, also you guys to show the K-9 unit and things about scott park and also community events that police officers do. If you guys are allowed to show what roll call and things like that is like. Not many people get to see that!
A great VLOG showing the human and caring character of our police officers. Hats off to you!

Love this Sgt. Toney! It's and excellent way to give residents a front row seat to some of the things the TPD is involved in that they may not know. Sadly I see some people think this is their forum to show their disdain for TPD. Sorry for that unfortunate consequence of social media.
I think this is a fantastic idea. I can't wait to learn more about this department and how they interact with the community.
I'll be there one day. Such a respected career.

I have a good one! Show how TPD officers cower behind sound barriers, atop overpasses, and in their cruisers (when it’s too cold, and rainy); using their speed cameras. Racking up millions, and taking advantage of Toledo citizens and visitors. Now, that would be an amazing vlog!
We will look into the Traffic Unit and Motorcycle Unit as options for a VLOG, Derrick. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is a great way to communicate. You all look so young and bright. My husband was a watch commander at the dept. I was a patrol officer. We did not have the advantage of social media. I would love to see you handling some routine calls, chases, DUIs and procedures for them, when you can search etc. Every state and city is very different. We worked the Boulder, Colo. area in 80s and 90s. Do you have a K9 unit as well? We had to wear the sleeve and get chased and bit for our training. Stay safe. I love my Blues. Do your officers come in post certified with college? It is much cheaper that way and then just put them thru the FTO program.

I feel that you need to get Chief crawl under control because if you would have let that man's mother go in the house on Fulton Street the policeman and that man was still be alive I feel that you guys need to go back to the basics and learn people skills and not police skills
Great! Now can somebody tell me why SVU hasn't contacted me, like TPD said they would, about my case... I went and reported about 2 years ago! I've been calling and even emailed. This is how much you care about sexual assault and rape victims? SHAME ON YOU. I shouldn't have to be putting myself through all of this stress to be taken seriously. And I already drove an hour there and back to tell my story, I live in Michigan now. I need to know I'm not wasting my time before I drive there again! Meanwhile my attacker also lives in Michigan, cool, right. I feel so safe.
