@Sensei_888 He was interviewed by the Hello Sport guys last year and he said he was offered a 3 year contract with 9 in 2019 but didn't take the offer (obviously). Reasons he didn't take the offer was that he enjoys working with the foxsports team, would only be commentating one game a week and staying at fox meant he was able to do other fox shows, like back page. I will be watching game 2 with the tv on mute and have these guys playing through my radio app 😂 do fox cover the game at all in aussie? We only get channel 9 coverage on sky in nz
@@pascoe93 yeah chanel 9 has a bit of a choke hold on it. Fox do have coverage but its a replay which doesnt broadcasts until after the match has concluded. Funny enough, the replay by fox sports have their own commentary team calling the action 😂
@@shame8191 we did get that fox replay with commentary in the past but not now. We also use to get fox pre game and post game bit now just 9. I do prefer the fox team overall

I didn't realise either until I saw the name in the description. Proper silver fox now. Despite being a QLD-er I started watching origin properly in the late 90s/early 00s and Girds was a fkn stud.

Anthony Hudson goes pretty fucking good, I love both NRL and AFL so I don't know who I prefer out of the 2, then there is Mark Howard which is pretty good (not as good as those 2 though). Both sports commentators are going downhill overall though.
✅Imagine, watching a split screen of the on field action alongside Dan,Wally, Girds & Wade in full.I for one would purchase a video full length copy(if my team won of course) it would be a massive seller watching commentators do their thing-must include a split screen.Just magic viewing,TV broadcasters should include 80% Action & 20% showing the commentators-why this has not been done before now,mind boggles,will be a ratings lead winner✅

Once the send off happened it was always going to be a QLD win, no team NSW or QLD can win with a player down for 78 minutes, I'd be embarrassed to talk it up after winning, it's like a boxer fighting a one armed opponent and being happy he beat him with all his advantages.

Complain all you like, but it happened, it's a send off every day of the week, most people are saying that it shouldn't be a send off in origin......If it's a send off in NRL, then it's a sendoff in origin. Did it ruin the game? yes.....but at the end of the day, that was Sualii's fault for doing it.
You know what else is embarrassing you did maths wrong Joseph got sent off 7 minutes and about 30 seconds a game gos for 80 minutes that’s 72 minutes without a player
