A country of 330.000 people that not only surprised the world in the
last football Eurocup 2016, but also as we can see here...have absolutely amazing voices among them!!! The last performer of this video Guðrún Árný is a class by herself...stunning voice and presentation. Congratulations Iceland!!!

Icelandic people have really good English pronunciation. These are also awesome auditions, like better than most of the ones we have in America.
All of them learn english, danish and icelandic in school. They are also good at mathematics.

Iceland is only a little over 300k people. Icelandic is spoken no where else in the world so they need to lean English from small

Considering that there are so few Icelanders in general, the number of talented singers is astonishing. They were all good, some incredible. My favourite is probably Elin Harpa who seems to be real star-material

miamadison1 I used to play with him when we were kids. Hjörtur is his name. He grew up on a farm in my home town. his sister was one of my best friends before I moved away. The whole family is very talented in music. Lovely to see that Hjörtur won the voice. :)
These songs sound much more fresh and intriguing to me with the careful diction of the singers. Love all of them here.

I wish there was a world competition with the Voices Winning singer with their coaches ..sponsored by their home country ..and host it in different countries every year or second year ....you be surprised how many people can appreciate other counties singers ...it would be awesome
I know I'm two years late but you should watch Eurovision. In Eurovision most European countries compete with one original song each in a huge arena sent live on TV with outstanding performances, and the winner country gets to host it next year.

tactac75 people liked it but honestly, it was the first time I ever sung into a microphone, the instrumental was way too loud and I couldn't hear myself. But singing on stage is the most fun and awesome thing I've ever done! I need to do it again soon! :D

Songbird was written by Chrissie McVie from Fleetwood Mac & yes she recorded it with them. This is the FM version which Eva copied. Eva is brilliant but this song isn't hers...

So all of the judges wore the same outfit so does that mean all of the auditions took place in one episode?
They were all recorded on the same day but split into few episodes
the reason they are so hard to impress is that English songs are jugded on how they sound and cadence not what they are saying as Icelandic is the jugdes language not English having said that some of the judges can be a little slow
