- This is an example of professionalism and efficiency. Roy Lupton leads a team of stalkers as they reduce numbers in a fallow deer herd. He is out in a deer park in the South-East of England and the target is 20 animals. Meanwhile, Charlie and his son Edmund head off for autumn trout fishing in Devon. Edmund is on the Arundell Arms' fishing beginners course. Aaron is on the News Stump and Charlie has the latest Hunting CZcams, all in this week's #FieldsportsBritain.

And another thing... Hunting CZcams: I have very special memories shooting at Delnabo. What a brilliant place with fabulous hospitality. I have spent my happy hours chasing my old, and now late, GWP on the grouse moor up above that spectacular pheasant shoot on the Avon.
Another great show Charlie and crew, Roy with the culling episode, showing how import that culling is to keep the herd strong and healthy and also by introduction of a strong bloodline. The education of young people is truly important so that they get to see how it is done humanely, ethically and how hunting plays such an important role in conservation of the worlds animal spieces. The fly fishing was great to see another great outdoor sport, catch and release, keep one or two for the pan, its just another day in the great outdoors, a day spent in the great outdoors is a great day spent, even if you don't harvest anything. Cheers!
Cheers. / Charlie
Size of that Croc, holy cow. Good work Aaron, and i loved the fishing segment, something new. Brill.
Thanks for what you guys do. I'm informed and entertained by every episode.
Welldone Aaron top job 👍
Love your channel. Great to see some fishing on here as well. Cheers from Switzerland
‘Coming out with banjos!’ 😂 Great show as always team!
Thanks for another very enjoyable episode. The Arundel Arms bit was excellent and it really made me think. I have a teenager that wants to learn to fish. My wife says we don't do enough together and should go away for a weekend. I feel a plan hatching.... Well done Edmund in front of the camera, can't have been easy. It is easy to imagine the conversation:
"Get in front of the camera, Ed, and say something!"
"But Dad, I just want to learn to fish..."
"Get in front of the camera, I need a filler for Wednesday!"
David at Arundel obviously just lives and breathes that river and came across as one of the thousands of true country people up and down the land that has so much knowledge to pass on and tell us if we actually ever took the time to stop and listen.
Thanks Colin. I hope Edmund didn't look too coerced. Of course, as he was talking, what you couldn't see was me holding his mobile phone between thumb and forefinger above a bucket of water. Concentrates the mind 🙂. / Charlie
As mentioned by Phillip.......Aaron did well. No shame on him.
Otherwise a great episode. Thumbs up immediately from one of FS'es subscribers in Norway :-)
We need a show like this in the U.S.A.
We're trying to get one together. / Charlie
Lol... USA version.... Episode 1... Gofer shooting with 50 BMG... dead is dead. 😊
Awesome as always!
Like this show... Greeting from the Netherlands
Good job you guys are speaking the truth.
Great show as always. Fly fishing is great give it ago if you get the chance.
All the best from India
In deer parks, we also shooting the animal in the head - that is absolutely normally also here in Switzerland.
Sure, hunting in the field in normal hunts, we don't place heat shots at all.
Excellent.
Well done everyone 👍
Funny looking roe buck on the news! Come on fieldsports channel!!....clearly not a Roe
Sorry... Got that one wrong. Thanks for spotting it. / Charlie
Fieldsports Channel Charlie I couldn’t give a damn if you show the wrong species of deer etc. What you are doing for the war on packham is fantastic. Give yourself the day off tomorrow, you deserve it.
Many thanks for the hunting youtube exposé!!!
If anyone missed it, go to Custom Rifle Hunters.
We have only just started so our camera equipment is very crap.
"This unusual roe buck" from the news segment is a red stag ;-)
They tend to be generally quite unusual for roe bucks. :D
Yes - our mistake. Sorry. / Charlie
Sorry to be a pain but it's actually a fallow buck, red deer don't have spots on their back and don't have dark line down the centre of the back
I would love for you to do a video on Bow Hunting.
We need to push Bow Hunting in England to allow more people to get out hunting without the restrictions that are put in place for Firearms.
We've done a few. We need to do more. / Charlie
Fieldsports Channel I'm going to watch them now. Thank you for all you do promote Fieldsports Charlie.
Sadly never going to happen with today’s society. 😭
👍
CHRIS PACKHAM IS SPEAKING IN TRING HERTFORDSHIRE, IN NOVEMBER. COMIMG TO RURAL AREAS TO ADVOCATE WITH THE LOCAL TOWN KIDS ....
All for educating more young people! Needs to be done
Great to see your son expanding his field sports. Did he say 'wild trout' ? Does that mean the river is stocked? If so, browns and rainbows?
Thanks for this. The lake is stocked - the fish in the river are wild, though I expect the odd stocky finds its way in. / Charlie
@@fieldsportstv thanks for the clarification Charlie.
I have no excuse to not trying fly fishing, I have a place that does it only about 15 miles away but I still haven't tried it.
What calibre Tikka was Roy using ? 2:49 - Tell me if Im wrong as Im a newbie and never killed anything and so just researching and educating myself as much as I can, but I thought a head shot on deer was supposed to be taken from the front due to the hard skull on the side of the head. This shot looked like it was from the side !
Elfin4 the side is softer you should never shoot a deer from the front because it might hit the nose and won’t go in side and back off the head is the best for head shots but you shouldn’t shoot head shots when you are first starting
@@calumteeling6236 Yeah Im not planning on any hunting yet until I get membership of my gun club and do some real training and target shooting etc. I just watched the infamous head shot a few months back and was sure they said on that the head shot was from the front because the skull is harder on the sides. May be wrong though. Thanks anyway for your replay, Im like a sponge soaking up all the information and guidance I can get, but as I said I haven't killed anything yet and have no plans to try until I'm confident in my gun skills and comfortable on the range.
He's shooting a 243
I would say more 22-250
Quick heads up for all those that may be impacted by the proposed Animal Rights Bill in Scotland. If you have not filled in the consultation, you should. There is a section in nit which throws the presumption of innocent until proven guilty out the window and brings in the presumption of guilt until you prove otherwise. If this unjust bit of legislation creeps through we are on our way to a police state.
For the avoidance of doubt, anyone that ever has or ever wants to shoot in Scotland, own a property or holiday there will be impacted by this proposed Bill. If this proposed Bill is passed in Scotland it will lead to similar illiberal laws, or worse, in the rest of the country.
Get on line and fill in the survey.
Thanks Colin
I hunt deer with a Flintlock i can't risk a running shot. My reload time is 45 seconds.

@@fieldsportstv thank you
Roe Buck ??? i think not.
Sorry - our mistake. / Charlie
Certainly is an "unusual" roe buck. Erm.....
Yes - sorry - our mistake. Thanks for spotting it. / Charlie
These militant vegans need naming and shaming shurly the result of there actions always seem to go the opposite way to what they were trying to do
Stalking park deer isn't exactly a field sport is it? You can round them up with a loaf of bread and a border collie.
That would be interesting. Look out for 'One Man & His Deer' :) / Charlie
@@fieldsportstv ....... One man and his deer 😂😂😂😂😂🍺👍
It would sell!
@@marklanahan7289 I think the same but it still has to be done. I've noticed that its allways fallow must of the time in these parks. Great show all the same
@@darrenarmstrong208 true but you may as well shoot sheep instead of shipping them off in a lorry in that case.
As a community we need to stop supporting Trophy Hunting of non prey species, Lions etc are not food or invasive and I know some of you are going to say that are but it’s bollocks. It’s killing for killing sake and it gives Hunters a bad name.
I hate piscifun roads and reels. They sent me their premium rod and I broke it on a 12 inch fish and I didn’t even horse it in. Junk if you ask me. Buy something that has quality like orvis, Winston etc.
