This video is about a time I got hurt. I don't know how much of the video I should explain without spoiling it. Then again who reads the youtube description before watching the video? If you are that person: hello. You are using youtube wrong. You will be dealt with accordingly.
This video took too long. I could have been done with it months ago but I kept second guessing myself and rerecording the audio and reformatting and blah blah blah. It was a terrible work flow and I think for future videos I need to just embrace imperfection and commit to what I have (if I don't want to take literally half a year to post something). The problem is that embracing imperfection is HARD. I said I would do the same thing in the last video and look where that got us.
Anyway I have a flight to catch literally today so I'm glad I crunched this out and got it posted. I hope you are also glad, and I also hope you enjoy the video.

As someone who is an accident waiting to happen, I can absolutely confirm that sprains hurt more than actual breaks (Ive broken several bones)
i once broke and dislocated both of my wrist bones, it wasn't really painful for me, really unpleasant but not as bad as i thought, although it may be because i have high pain tolerance

I used to sprang my ankles alot as a kid (weak ankles x.x), and when i broke my ankle bone, i legit thought it was a mild sprang, nope, broken.

That’s encouraging to know, I’ve sprained so many things and been terrified of breaking a limb. Did fracture my coccyx once and couldn’t sit down without nearly passing out/wanting to shriek for ages. No plastercast possible so no way to protect it either.

This video is brilliant. I am a teacher and today this 15 year-old oy came into my classroom crying. He just sat down, and I didn't want to draw any attention to him because the other kids in class would have made fun of him. Instead, I introduced them to this video. By the end of the video, the boy's tears dried up and he was smiling and laughing along with the rest of the class. Thanks for this video, it made a big impact. Definitely showing more of these to them in future! 😁

Edit: Incidentally I broke a toe and it was a 14 and the worst pain I have ever experienced. I was playing with my puppers and I clumsily ran around my bed and It sort of went *pop* and I looked down and my toe was jutting out at a very ragdoll physics angle. The pain went from excruciating to tingling numbness so it wasn't bad...at that point.
Then I had it reset and it was legit blackout painful WITH painkillers and a local anesthetic. 0/10000 do not recommend.

So when I was like 8 I was at a friend’s house and we were playing hide and seek bc *we were children* and there might have been a bit more friends there because me and a friend were in a room and the I was at the door with the friend back in that room and I could hear the seeker running our way and I probably said something like “HE’S COMING!!!!” So I quickly shut the door and… *Toe gets squished and half the nail comes off* (you can see how it ends, I was bleeding alot my parents took me back into the car, I had a cast-plaster thing on my toe and it still hurt alot but in the end I was fixed:) I have my nail back and you can actually feel a tiny dent out where it was split so yea! I don’t remember who those friends was tho :/

I easily understand what you felt. When I was a child, while I was practicing Full Contact, I fall on wooden parquet and hit my elbow really really hard. I thought it was broken and couldn’t move it at all during all the afternoon. But in fact I just hit the nerves of my elbow, that’s why it was so painfull. 😅

You should see me on a wet pool raft. I just go slip with no friction whatsoever. I also have never broken a bone. I have also never had to go to the hospital for means not expected and had me be the one in trouble. Never passed out/fainted/blacked out, never had a cavity, no stitches, no sprains, nothing. I have gotten hurt but I have always gotten back up due to either stupidity or my need to suck up pain and walk it off. This made me think about what it is like getting the wind knocked out of me or someone else and sounding like a sick whale for 30 seconds as your friends and family are trying to talk to you.

When I was working as a tow truck driver, I missed a step and fell out of a truck, essentially the height of a semi, and landed right on my ankle. All I remember was hearing an audible pop and screaming at the top of my lungs. 0/10 experience.

i just discovered this channel and i freakin love it. i too have really bad adhd! i also have ostiogenisis imperfecta and have broken both my legs twice. once when i was 25 days old, my other in first grade while jumping off of a climber over and over again, the other leg again broke in high school playing a tennis match, and then while that leg was healing, i proceeded to play one legged tennis for like a month and a half just full out sprinting on the one leg.. and one day in the band room i was messin around with a buddy, he said something and i started chasing him around the band room, keeping up, with one leg, until i hear this snap sound, like snapping a wooden broom, and i just collapsed confused. the pain didnt start until i looked down and saw a little piece of bone sticking out. then it hurt really bad. but they healed and im back to being very athletic again. i have the mild kinda OI so ur just a little shorter and brake bones as a kid if ur particularly active, so hopefully from here out il be square. but to ice cream sandwich, sprains can hurt worse than some bone brakes just so u know. and you could totally handle it, the body is crazy. plus you get pain killers wooh and they are fun. had maybe the best summer of my life that year recovering from two broken legs haha chillin with friends in a wheelchair, seeing wall-e on the couch with my girlfriend with a cast on my leg, enjoying pain killers. lmao

As somebody who HAD broken a bone and had a sprain in the same place, the second IS SO MUCH WORSE. Like hundreds of times worse. When you have a sprain your muscles are still in tact, so you end up CONSTANTLY MOVING IT, like all the time. And pain only comes when you move it, so you gonna be sitting on the couch, forget that your something hurts (because it doesn't) do something with it, and die of pain induced shock.

I just a have a small collection, as a kid succeeded to break my arm once, fracture once and dislocate once. I don't really remember any of their pain tho, yet can't compare one to other. But recently I kicked a streetlamp as hard as I can and was limping while trying to run and still have a funny feeling when point my toetips straight down.
I literally came back to watch this after I sprained my knee on a frozen lake just so I don’t feel alone 😭

I sprained my ankle on a bouncer obstacle course too! When I was 12. I think, I never went to a doctor, I landed on it full 90 degree angle and couldn’t walk for three days.
