    In my experiences Atrac is much better when used on uneven dry surfaces rather than slick ones. It has actually worked against me in the mud and snow

      I agree with this as well. Ultimately there is no replacing a true locking differential in those conditions.

    On that last run up the hill, what was the difference between each of the tries? ATRAC off and on? 4Lo in the end?

      Feint picked a better line on the final run since the entire hill was mud!

      last line had less mud. with proper MT tires and lower PSI the LC wouldve walked that first line.

    I hate atrac on lx470 as well as on Mitsubishi

    For God's sake... please take that 'TRD' sticker off of the side of that Land Cruiser... you must be a high school kid.
