just ordered a set for my sti !!! great review !!!!
love the tough aggressive look
Hoping these show up on tire rack in 265/40/20, definitely interested in them from your review! Nice work with this too! Just the right amount of information without being too boring/dry, nicely done! 👍👍👍
Thanks for the kind words!!! Are you looking for these in SQ5 fitment? If so, you want to roll with a 265/45 20! That’s what I’m running currently
@@IgnitionTube yeah, that’s what I meant to type 😅 I found a cheap set of Continental CrossContacts to get me by for this season, but I may be picking these up next season if they work out well for ya! Curious to see how they do on the strip
Just wanted to make sure you were snagging the right size!!
@@IgnitionTube appreciate that! 🙏
Just ordered some for my 2017 Lexus gs350 f-sport RWD. im in california so dont need them for snow, just hope they are good tires all around. Great video thank you 🙏🏼
I went with all season tires for my B7 RS4 because - I want the car to handle any type of weather, --> And I dont track the car anyways, plus the car is less bumpy and more smooth on coilovers.
Having tried dws06 and ps4 a/s these look right on the money. On the same alignment specs ps4 a/s the wear is terrible, but they drive so well. Was waiting for some miles to be put on these, looks like they’re not terrible. If theyre 90% as good as the Michelins I’ll be a happy camper.
I don't have experience with the Michelins so can't make a direct comparison, but if you end up snagging these definitely let me know your thoughts!
Interested to see how these compare to the coveted Michelin Pilot All Season 4
How are these in rain like How good when it comes to hydroplaning
Do these have a stiffer sidewall than the DWS06 Plus? I had the DWS on my Mini GP and could not stand how sloppy they felt.
Curious how these compare to the Quatrac Pro from Vredestein? They’re almost identical in cost
I just bought the fk460 for my car and I’m running falken wildpeak at3 on my truck. Wish I could get sponsored by falken 😢
Hey E! Have them send you the RT660 for the summer 😎
Absolutely love my 660’s
I was thinking either the 660 or the 615!!
@@IgnitionTube would definitely get 615 if you’ll drive in rain, I wouldn’t ever take my 660’s through rain lol
i run fk510 summers and falken winters on all my cars , never had problems with my car
Love to hear it!
Way to not even show what the tire looks like installed on the vehicle
Oh come on we both know the PSAS4+ and Continental’s are the best UHP AS
Can confidently say these are better than any Continental all season I’ve ever driven on. I don’t have much experience with the Michelins.
Have you driven in the Conti ExtremeContact DWS 06+?
@@SLW_GT2 yes that’s the one I was referring to. Had those and the Michelins on 12 different cars and preferred both over anything else. Especially with spirited and daily driving
@@IgnitionTube that’s all I run now is Michelin I tried falkens and pirelli and while the falkens are good- for my driving (in SC) the Michelin fits best
This is good info. Just got my sq5 tuned so tires will be needed soon even though I have new tires
If you truly have winters ...... real winters......And you have a performance vehicle of any kind, then you need "summer" and "winter" tires. Again, if you can afford it but owning a performance vehicle dictates that you probably have the means. For example, my 2024 WRX has its standard very sticky, noisy, very performance orientated but "low-life" Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 600A. It's a summer toy only and stored for winter. But if I were to drive it in the winter either as a toy or daily, then WINTER tires, performance winter rubber is a must. In the summer, you will NOT get the hot asphalt traction, grip or braking out of an all-season tire, especially when temperatures get hot. Summer tires stick the best, no doubt. All season high performance tires attempt to narrow the gap but when it comes to grip and braking, they will never beat performance summer tires.
