Things You Missed Playlist: • [CHECK PINNED COMMENT]...
I'm Dom and I make educational, informational and entertaining videos on a plethora of Elden Ring, Souls and Souls-like games! If you've made it this far down the description, you truly are an inquisitive soul, and I honour and salute your curious nature! Please join this channel and let us venture where few dare, as we make fantastically phenomenal and fantabulously flamboyant videos, whilst of course having a great time! Thank you so much for being here and joining in the channel with me, I hope you have an amazing day and let's speak soon.
00:00 Raya Lucaria Academy
02:48 Weeping Peninsula
03:25 Liurnia of the Lakes
05:32 Limgrave
06:46 Stormveil Castle
09:21 Big thank you friends xxx - Hry
So much potential in these guides. You gotta do the whole map at this point! Looking forward to more of your content.
Hi 😊Thank you so much for being here, I hope you're enjoying the content!!
I hope you have a great day as well.
You create some wonderful content, and thanks to you I've found quite a few things I had previously missed. Thank you! Question: time stamp 6:08 you mention a crucible knight, can this encounter be found near the war master's shack as well?
Hey here good video! btw you need the fanged imp ashes for a puzzle later on, to get tothe rotten swamp area
I think those who will Elden Ring will miss most of it.
The iron maiden below Raya Lucaria Academy tps you if you get killed while getting her grab attack, so try! :)
This is hand down my favorite aspect of these games. When the community comes together to piece together all the secrets and lore is truly something extraordinary. Can’t thank you enough for making these videos!!
YEAH, sure because the game publisher is so lazy to help you under the dogma of it's suppose to be harder so you learn faster? NOT as they do not even have a quest log or AUTO-RUN.
@@Zittylol if you are so upset about the way that fromsoft does their games maybe you'd enjoy a nice handholdy ubisoft game?
@@Zittylol tbh, if that is what you feel then i suggest you should find another game ... After all, game is to enjoy your self ! This is my first fromsoftware game also, uninstall the game after 2h then reinstall and play still now because of some trick of getting strong quickly .If this is a darksoul game then im out
Does anyone know how to activate the teleport in Deeproot Depth where Fia is. I finished her complete quest line with D’s brother killing her, but the portal never activates. Any help I would appreciate
@@Zittylol Is this your first Soulsborne game? Mine was Demon's Souls for Ps3 back in 2010, & it was exactly like you said, the narrative was frustrating to piece together. The lack of a quest log left me feeling like I was always missing something obvious, making me second guess my playstyle.
So believe me, I understand what you mean. But I started finding the self-discovery of lore aspect rewarding. It just takes more free time than usual to learn it all.
I don't think there's a single player out there who immediately loved this type of delivery of the narrative, but it becomes part of the appeal. It's kind of like your experience is somehow unique to you, cause we use our imagination to fill the gaps.
It's not for everybody, & I wouldn't dare criticize someone for not liking it the way I do. Hopefully you can learn to love it.
so many “CZcams walkthrough guys†can be unbearable to listen to but you have such a good, genuine energy. love all your videos and follow them like maps as I make my way through. thanks for the content!
Thank you ðŸ˜That means a lot!
Past the golden seed in the academy there is also a red summon sign to continue Yura's questline! Reset go back to the summon sign and talk to Yura. Then complete his quest at second church of Marika
At the academy on the Golden seed side, there's also a blood marking thing to join an npc invasion as part of that basket helmet guy's quest line.
The imps summons are useful for a tower in the snowy north somewhere. Definitely NOT useless ðŸ˜
Exactly and they are on the best to add bleed build up they are far from crappy
Just a heads up the turtle shield also give you increase stamina regen just having it equipment I had it for my whole greatsword playthrough
I know another thing you may have missed in rayla. Your best friend Thorpe who you gave the glintstone key to can be found just outside the classroom (in the areas where the waterwheel is)
Fanged imps are pretty good in the early to mid game. They cause bleed , so if you back them up with the reduvia dagger, you can stay at a safe distance and muderize everything that takes bleed damage
Btw old albus is a giant pot , not a barrel.
he says it's crappy, they carried me through Godrick, Rennala and all the dungeons between limgrave, caelid and the lake, so, yeah, not crappy.
They are a key to get graven mass talisman to
They even have a (short) ranged attack! Though they seem to miss more than they hit with it :D
I also felt like they had decent survivability in many cases, probably because they are so small and attacks miss them easily. And of course because their rate of attack keeps staggering enemies.
The Fanged Imp ashes are actually required for one of the Rise tower puzzles in the Consecrated Snowfield! So its a good thing that you bought them!
Ur right!!! I need to go back !!!
I finished that one using crystal darts so they turn on each other.
These guides are great. I can't believe how much I've missed in this game
Waiting for caelid, west lucaria and rest of the areas, I'm playing through them exploring myself and then watching your videos to visit back and see if I missed anything. Keep up the good work 🤌
I love these videos mate. This game is a masterpiece and your videos really highlight that. There is just so much in this game that it's quite a task to find it all yourself. I consider myself to be pretty decent at finding stuff in Elden Ring and yet each one of your Location videos has shown me at least one thing that I didn't find. Well done, please keep it up!
Fanged imps are necessary for a certain building if you want to enter it.
They make it easier but aren't necessary. Crystal throwing daggers cause imps and watchdogs (the goofy cat statues) to turn on attack friendlies/each other.
In tip one, before you drop down to get the golden seed there is a red invade summon sign to help an NPC called Yura (might have to find him in Limgrave first, I've seen him in a few locations where I could talk to him or where he would help me with NPC invades)
Help him take out the bloody finger and then talk to him afterwards and he mentions Eleanora or something like that. I haven't beaten the game yet, so idk where that quest chain leads though
Mate, love the vids. Have helped me considerably. More so when having some idea of the mini-bosses I'm going to encounter as I traverse the catacombs, and, just having the background on how to navigate them. Excellent stuff!
Top content as always. Definitely keep plugging your playtime for new viewers. Great work, and loving your videos. Great to see your channel growing. But we'll deserved as your content is amazingly detailed
I have subscribed to your channel and I'm grateful for it. I love the way you explain things in such a way where it's not rushy or too slow. You're just casual and collective it's so cool. Thank you so much for giving us such guidance. It's amazing and awesome! Thank you.
Lol. I went down the bridge at the academy gates thinking that was the way I was suppose to go(even died attempting to clear the gap at the end) but I never even thought to go down the other way😂
This game blows my freaking mind!! I've never played a souls game before but this must be one of the absolute best games ever made. Ever. It's massive, complicated, mind-shatteringly beautiful and has caused me to rack up nearly 90 hours in 16 days, and I have a full time job. Also, you have caused me to subscribe for your top notch content. Cheers mate.
i really enjoy your videos.. I saw the first tips video not long ago.. Its nice because i didnt comb through a lot of areas so this series really helps people like me. After watching the videos, i've come to enjoy the charm and the accent. keep up the good work :D
Thank you so much for this whole series! I love listening to you go through them all and your positive attitude really helps me keep going. 💖
I really hope you continue this series all the way through the game. It's helped me so much. Typically I explore everything first then go back through with your guide. There are always 3 or 4 things I've missed.
So glad I stumbled across this channel, great stuff mate!
These guides are fantastic ðŸ‘. I'm genuinely stunned how many areas and items I've managed to completely miss! Thanks for making them as spoiler free as possible, really appreciate it, you only ever get one first playthrough of a Souls game. Subbed ðŸ‘.
Love you video series. I watch them with my kids as well progress through game to make sure we haven't missed anything. We are loving the game and loving your content.
Thanks very much for your hard work. The praise is well deserved
I absolutely love your videos. They have helped me immensely. I will be using all of them so I can 100% my first walk through. Thank you so much.
such a help, and your pleasant without being annoying, and your easy to understand. Thank you, I appreciate your hard work.
Your speech is very detailed and well organised. It’s a heartening joy watching your videos as I personally love a commentator who is rich in lexical resources. I hope you can give some 3A games a try as well, and I am sure your play through will not without my support!
Genuinely loving this series. I’ve just bought the game and after I think I’ve complete each section, I double check your videos to make sure I’ve not missed anything… Which i definitely always have. Great work, great edits and amazing content. Thanks Dom
In former FromSoftware games I always made a blind playthrough. But this game is too big to just make two runs for it. I make many small blind runs and then check them, like you.
NPC Quest are partially a pain: They sometimes show up in places I already were and would never walked back to. The blind maiden? I was in the second and third location already. Without looking it up I would never had met her again. Some are lost, just because I never found them in the first place or never progressed in their quest - thats okay (lile Sellia or the illusion-bush). I later learn about them, but I only go back to got things right, not to do eherything perfect... If this makes sense
Love it. 🙂 Appreciate the work your putting in my friend. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Heres a tip I managed to somehow work out - whenever you see any flying enemies like those birds or mini dragons, if you have the Banished Knights Halberd, it's skill is perfect for those!! It literally just spins it in the air and any birds that come near well, goodnight haha
You actually need the Fanged Imps to open a seal on a door of a tower in the Concentrated Snow Field, you can't open it unless you summon your imps to fight some imps around the outside of the tower, so you may think they are crappy but they have a purpose 😉
I still think it is worth including the Lobster Mimic boss for a larval tear in the Lakes, I mentioned it in a previous video and I thought you were going to show it when you fast travelled to the Fallen Ruins of the Lake grace but you ran straight past, head south east on your compass from that grace and you'll find a Lobster on its own, kill it and it's a mimic that turns into a Grafted Scion, kill it for a larval tear, it's a pretty cool little secret and a good way to get an early larval tear ready for when you can respec 🙂
You can also throw crystal daggers to kill them and break the seal. That's how I got in lol
I was killing everything in sight and discovered that boss mimicking a lobster, lol
Consecrated*. It means "having been made or declared sacred. A lot of people, especially religious people, refer to cemeteries as "consecrated ground," i.e. suitable to use for their religious burial rituals.
You can also use bewitching branch on one of the imps at the tower, I never thought of summoning the imps.
Really grateful for the crystal helm.
whenever I think that I've searched everything, there's something I clearly missed
I saw that area a few times but yeah, though the other way before that, there's a ladder when you go down the roofs, you can go up to one of the towers, can't remember what was there, probably smithing stones? Also, there's an item you can see but cannot reach through the same route I believe.
Fanged Imps are actually incredibly useful for a standard ash; they're super mobile, throw pots/knives and will stack hemorrhage if you're running a bleed build, leading to faster procs on enemies that have high movement or are large-scale enemies.
Love the vids man really helping me with these guides so I don’t have to worry about missing something in an area 🙂
NOTE ABOUT ROGIER: Not sure if this was stated in another comment but just in case.... It's related to his questline. If you make your way all the way down to the bottom of the castle, there is a big nasty undulating rot wyrm or whatever it's called, and then beyond him, the corpse of a big weird looking eldritch horror thing. I believe this spot was mentioned in another one of your videos as I recall. But there is a bloodstain here. This is not a multiplayer bloodstain, it's a unique one. Interact and you can see what happens to Rogier that puts him into the roundtable Hold in his current state. This allows you to speak to him about his injuries and continue his dialog that pushes you toward the conspiracy involving the murder of Godwyn the Gold.
Thanks! That is a nice detail... Sadly Rogier "progressed" his quest too far for me. But that is really interesting!
@@sleepnt992 same happened to me. I didnt progress his story until I'd already done Fia's Dagger request (visited the altus plateau) so rogier had a few things to say but he skipped most of it.
I figured out that there is an entire dialog with him about Ranni also but.... you have to do all that BEFORE reaching the altus plateau I think.
@@MerikRelian okay... nothing happend to me XD I met Ranni... But he cam talk about her? Dagger?
Haha. I love this game XD
@@sleepnt992 yeah the questlines can be a little slow going sometimes. His quest kind of aims you toward other ones but he offers some valuable information along the way if you keep visiting him after getting some stuff.
Just try to stay out of the altus plateau if you want his full dialog. Not the end of the world if you do progress though.
I THINK the idea is you meet Ranni and do her questline before reaching the altus plateau....once you do, it will set in motion Fia's questline. Since all the quests are connected in some way I won't spoil... but it is kind of a weird puzzle to figure out.
@@MerikRelian Yeah, and that is really difficult for me. I explore a lot. I was on the Altus Plateau, in Siofra, partially Caelid and a hidden high level Area before I even entered Raya Lucaria... That must have broken some quests
On that first bridge to the golden seed at raya lucaria, I found a red summon sign to help yura hunt a bloody finger. You get an ash of war and yura shows up and gives a smithing stone 5.
Series has been mad helpful btw. Just dropping a comment to show some appreciation.
You should do one for cookbooks. The rot cure cookbook seems to be missed by a lot of people
FYI these are all cataloged on the fextralife wiki now... tho the directions can often be a bit sh!t. my guess is that there is one person who really likes writing wiki articles but is just absolutely awful at giving people directions. there are just too many pages where all the comments are just like, “well, i’m totally not confused about where to go at all†😂
2:27 I love when people leave their own mistakes on the videos makes everything more authentic and funny 😅 . Gj on the series bro i am loving it , and plz do Caelid if you can .
Thanks for this series! This is my first Souls game, and I am finding the vids extremely helpful, especially as I tend to be a completionist. :D
Fantastic videos! Thanks again. I just hit Caria Manor and my mind is blown.
Been watching your guides since the first one! I really love them, you earn yourself a subcriber mate cheers! Keep on doing this type of videos
Love to see your shit growing mate! Hope and almost expect to see ya around 100k within a year
I missed the first one too lol got tricked by that floating seal 🤣 😂 😅
2:55 ohh wowww thats how people got up there. My dumb ass jumped from the rock onto the wooden beam then jumped up to the top 🥲😅
Damn.. I was searching every where for getting the recipe for sleep greese!! Thank you kind sir for this video.. Also now I can get 4 more stone sword keys because of u!
Love the humility, brother! Some of your vids tapping on 1m views almost too! Thoroughly deserved.
wait youtube became your career? Holy shit man, GG..
Im a bit of a youtube boomer.. i thought it was harder now more than ever to make a living on this platform. I'm happy for you, Dude!
Thrilled that you can do something you love and are passionate about it. (can hear the passion and enthusiasm in your voice through out the videos)
Hands down the best Elden Ring guides on CZcams, so helpful content in ensuring nothing missed!! Keep up the great work mate!!
Thanks. I would really like to see complete guides on the different NPC quest lines in the future.
These videos are really awesome man. Entertaining and helpful!
I'm sure some other people have said this, but in case they haven't, beyond the seal that leads to the golden seed, you can also find Yura's summoning sign. When invading to help him, you will get the ash of war: raptor of the mists. This allows you to finish his quest in the Altus plateau and get Eleonoras Poleblade and the Nagakiba.
You’ve been doing great work ðŸ‘🻠I’ve been playing for almost a week now on my Steam Deck and I love it! Thanks for the videos.
I am a bit jealous XD I really like the concept of the Steam Deck... But with a decent Gaming Laptop and a Switch at home and also no reason to make trips by bus or train, I have also no reason to buy this thing. But I really want to XD.
How does Elden Ring perfom on the Steam Deck?
@@sleepnt992 I had no other gaming device. I don’t own a TV and have a Mac so the deck is all I’ve got haha. It is amazing though.
@@newbiegains6525 well, than it is even more great ;)
OmG. I’m somewhat a completionist and I must just say that despite that and having spent 130 hours into the game and not even ventured into Leyndall yet I still miss Items everytime you post a video. Thank u so much for the guide!
This is the stuff I love the most about video games. Just subscribed :)
Great video as always! Very informative. What i really like about you is your fresh attitude. Keep it up!
@1:50 in the ground there is an invasion you can activate where YURA (NPC) will help you and get an item after defeating it
Your guides have helped me so much and earned a sub!
Don't shit on the fanged imps, those ashes carried me through the entire beginning of the game until I left Stormveil for Leurnia.
You also missed the fact that in the north gate bridge of the academy you can be summoned into Yura's world to help him kill a bloody finger.
2:28 didnt know you were able to speak the Egyptian tongue from Age Of Mythology 😂😂😂😂
You forgot to find a few of the things i missed, like happiness, forfillment and love. Someone tried to tell me I won't find those things in video games, but i remain hopeful.
Great Content, great Channel.
Awesome job. Thank you!
Oh you did NOT just call the Fanged Imps a "fairly crappy" spirit ash! They're actually REALLY good, theyr'e aggressive as hell and do a lot of bleed buildup, so if you're a bleed build they're actually really really good. I find myself using them quite a lot.
Huge fan of these guides top notch. I really enjoyed ones about areas, I definitely missed. because I didn’t even know where things, especially secrets are located.
Have you covered destroying the chariots in a couple of the Hero's Graves? A decent bow and a really good armour set is dropped. Thanks for the amazing videos!
Ricky Gervais cameo at 7min mark, incredible laugh
I'm on NG++ on my main char, also have 2 more at lvl 70ish something, I find new stuff everytime that I never seen on my first playtrough. When I started a new char I was like " im goin to find this this this and this but I aalways get distracted by something do that then forget what I was doing before :D everytime! To see everything there are alot to memorize, ALOT. Thx for the uploads great series!
You deserve more subs for the quality job you are doing. Hope to see it climbing soon! Good job Dom
Just starting Elden Ring now and these guides from you are indispensable!
You somehow manage to amaze me every freaking time xD
Amazing video as always, thank you for your work.
Actually the fanged imps is a great summon for 1 reason. Its helpful later on in the concentrated snowfeilds. Dont wanna ruin it, so thats all I'll say.
Hey Dom! There is one more small detail you missed about Raya Lucaria Academy in your videos. After you give Thops the second entrance key to the academy, you can return to just outside the schoolyard classroom to see what has become of him and (sadly) retrieve some loot. Nonetheless, great videos. keep it up!
Where the turtle shield is, there is also a warming stone on another body opposite
Love this guy! These videos are very informative thank you
love these videos, please do the whole map!
Thanks for your content friend. what's the armor you're wearing in this video?
love this series! man i missed soo much stuff lol
I had no idea you could walk past those barriers at the start - these are super helpful videos.
Btw the fanged imps are necessary for a riddle tower in the snowfields later. There are docile phantom imps fighting each other with a message, you‘re supposed to summon your own imps and let them fight the imps that spawned behind the tower, when there is only one of each left the tower opens.
I didn‘t know about lucaria bridges until I was lvl120, but just happened to find out about the riddle later on.
The bellhunters are all over the Lands Between and just like the Night's Cavaliers and Death Birds, they only spawn at night
Loving your videos Dom. Keep them coming mate!
Love your videos! They have helped me out a ton.
I look forward to more Elden Ring videos man! Great stuff!
I found all this stuff on my first play through as well. One thing dark souls game's taught me was to take my time on my first playthrough and to always look over the edges but just make sure you kill all the enemies first lol. that And to hit evey wall or any wall that looks like it could be one. But now with that new spell you don't have to waste all that time. Thanks for that spell creaters. And so far the only side story I miss was the Alexander some how I miss him some where but I had no problem at all just playing through all of it.
Don't stop,go all the way till the end
I've been enjoying these videos a lot. While I've been doing my best to explore areas thoroughly, there's always something I missed.
Can't wait for the things I missed in the things I missed video
8:01 (Hoops over sand bags)
Me: What the Fuck!...
Albinaurics pretty easy to pronounce than illusionary wall XD
I love your content tbh it helps me a lot finding that i miss, and i'm looking forward to another region.
Keep up the good work!
Missed the storm veil one off the sandbags, fell off found a new area, (couple of items) went round the corner fell off onto some rats and then found the back entrance to avoid spending a stone key.
Nothing worth looking for just amazed I miss so much.
Thank you for the guide, well done as always
It's actually astounding how many little hidden places there are in this game. Probably more than a third of the time I spend in this game is just scouring the map screen looking for any little shape or feature that looks mildly interesting, just trying to find new places, and I _very_ regularly revisit legacy dungeons like Stormveil, Raya Lucaria, Miquella's Haligtree, etc., just to search for new pathways and items, and I don't think I've gone a day playing this game without finding at least two or three hidden items and it's always like hitting the jackpot even if it's not something I use lol.
I've been through Stormveil probably thirty times and I just recently found the Prophecy Painting which unlocks the Warhawk summon ashes (I already had Stormhawk Deenh and she's better, but still, I also like to collect every little thing.)
Slowly becoming one of my favourite channels! Keep up the fantastic work!
Honestly one of my favorite channels when it comes to Elden Ring content
I was just gonna say the same. Quickly becoming my favorite Elden Ring channel as well.
Love you man I just love your voice alone😂😂 and the content is more quality than lots of “bigger namesâ€
You’ve made my night even more amazing!!!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜I’m in for the long haul buddy I’ll be looking for something in game you ain’t seen yet hopefullyðŸ™ðŸ¼
Your videos are great. Your pleasant attitude and your helpful tips work really well together. I'd like to see an Easter egg video if possible.
Love these videos man
Keep up the excellent work
