Forgiveness is our function as the light of the world and leads to our happiness.

- 3/6/24 - Much of my shift in understanding of the power and freedom available to us through forgiveness comes from my study of "A Course In Miracles." The book is available from Amazon (COURSE IN MIRACLES: Based On The Original Handwritten Notes Of Helen Schucman--Complete & Annotated Edition Hardcover - January 20, 2017).
There are also free phone apps. The one I use most of the time is from the Circle of Atonement and the other one I recently found is from "A Course in Miracles Now".
The framework that I shared is based on doing the exercises in the Course. Here are the statements I shared in case you want to ponder them with the Holy Spirit:
We are all God’s children and are still as God created us.
That means that we still live in Heaven in God.
We are not bodies in Heaven, but spirits like God.
Spirits move through each other as ethereal beings.
Our Creator God shares Its one life with Its children.
Our spirit life is righteousness, perfection and love.
Therefore, in Reality, we remain in God in Heaven as innocent children.
None of God’s children can be guilty of anything.
This is how God sees us.
The way God sees us is the Truth of our Reality.
There was a time outside of time that God’s children had a thought that we could separate ourselves from God.
That is when we fell asleep and made-up a collective ego.
Because we felt guilty for separating ourselves from God (which didn’t happen) our ego told us we are fearful guilty sinners.
Our ego made-up a world where pain, suffering and death seem to be normal.
Our ego needed bodies to live in this world to use as tools for its illusions of pain, suffering and death.
And this is the world in which we find ourselves.
Each of us has a body that lives in this dream world.
In this world, bodies hurt each other.
When a brother or sister hurts us, our egos call it sin.
Our ego projects its idea of sin onto God and says that God is angry with His children.
We believe that the cost of sin is death which makes us afraid of God’s judgment for our sins.
But God see us as Its perfect innocent children cannot sin nor die, but who only fell asleep.
When the thought of separation happened, God created the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit lives in us in our bodies to help us wake up to our Reality in God.
Once we all wake up from the ego’s dream, we will see that we are all still in Heaven and this egoic world never happened.
It will be glorious when we all wake up to our Reality and Oneness with God!
