Etrigan the Demon is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Jack Kirby, Etrigan is a demon from Hell who, despite his violent tendencies, usually finds himself allied with the forces of good, mainly because of the alliance between the heroic characters of the DC Universe and Jason Blood, a human to whom Etrigan is bound. Etrigan is commonly depicted as a muscular humanoid creature with orange or yellow skin, horns, red eyes, and pointed, webbed ears, who frequently speaks in rhymes.
Etrigan appears in films set in the DC Animated Movie Universe:
The Flashpoint incarnation of Etrigan appears in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, voiced again by Dee Bradley Baker.
Jason Blood / Etrigan appears in Justice League Dark, voiced by Ray Chase. In flashbacks to the medieval period, it is revealed that Merlin bound Blood and Etrigan to defeat Destiny. In the present, Etrigan and Blood help found the titular Justice League Dark to defeat Destiny once more, during which they are separated and Blood dies from old wounds that he originally sustained the first time he fought Destiny.
Etrigan appears in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, voiced again by Ray Chase. After losing Blood, Etrigan lapsed into severe depression, causing him to no longer speak in rhyme. Out of boredom, he joins Raven, John Constantine, Superman, and other survivors of Darkseid's invasion of Earth to stop him, but is killed by a brainwashed Wonder Woman.

They never use his full rhyme.

Mark Hamill will return as Joker in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part 3, according to an IGN report. A source privy to the film's production confirmed Hamill's casting opposite the late Kevin Conroy, who will posthumously return as the voice of Batman.
Hamill recently stated it's unlikely that he will ever play Joker again, having committed to only reprise the role if Conroy voices Batman.

Anyone else notice how much of a dick Merlin was to Jason Blood in Justice league dark? I mean if he was going to make Jason Blood Etrigan's babysitter for eternity the least he could have done was heal his wounds before he did it so if they're separated Jason Blood doesn't immediately bleed to death and has time to enjoy his freedom before he does finally die.
Wait. So, was the friend who's death had Etrigan so depressed in Apokolips War the knight? I assumed that whoever the friend was who died must have been killed by the parademons, but after watching the movie, I know that scene at the gravesite isn't in it. Was Etrigan ALREADY too depressed to care before Darkseid took over the world?
Before the War Etrigan had a record deal for 5 albums he was about to make millions. They heard his Mix Tape no Demon is my brother was the name of his Mix Tape. Then well Superman got his cheeks clapped by Darkseid. That's he was so sad in the last one. He was thinking of all the hoes and chicken wings he missed out on.
