I gotta say, Momo's drawing of Tostada was perfect. The eyes were like black holes they were so huge, it was just perfect.
Also Bacun saying "speak for the trees head-ass" about the Lorax drawing of Fraiser absolutely destroyed me.
I like how everyone turned the cats into people except for Giwi who turned them into cats pretending to be people
I think the best part of this was Momote's shrieks of laughter after every single reveal. Such an infectious laugh hahaha
I still think that the theory holds true. Like it may not be a 1 to 1 comparison, but it could EASILY be based off of the proportions. I think Japanese architecture and some other stuff is based off of the Silver Ratio, which if I remember correctly is also the same ratio as cat faces and other things that are considered cute.
I always felt like they're like that too. It's not that the "anime face" is specifically based on a cat, but that it's based on what humans in general and the Japanese in particular think is cute. It'd probably hold true of many western cartoon characters meant to be cute as well.
I also feel like it's a massive over generalization to say that it's all anime faces that look like that.
