Midge Hall and Croston - ideas for a layout pt2

Filmed in May 2024, a DMU based oval or end to end layout would make an easy project featuring on or both of these stations.
Going back to the 1960s and earlier this line was very busy with semi fast expresses to Liverpool from northern destinations. There were goods yards around most west Lancashire stations then with lots of arable produce and coal, oils and provisions to be delivered inbound.
Back in the 1980s, a school friend of mine moved into the empty station building at Croston, lucky lad.
