Just bought Ultra Street Fighter 4 recently and playing in this stage again just filled me with so many feels. :') This was my favorite stage back in the day and it still is now.
to me, this song is about sakura's feelings everytime ryu returns to japan to train with her. Knowing that after the match or sparring, he will continue his travel as a world warrior.

Man, this song makes me feel all nostalgic. This was my first fighting game I got into, and I remember playing on this stage and listening to this song all the time. This was back when I was still in high school.
This is the definitive song for Sakura vs. Dan IMO. Very upbeat, lighthearted song, while still keeping a fast pace that makes you wanna fight. Really fitting for those two characters. Capcom knew what they were doing when they made this the stage for Dan's rival battle with Sakura.

I'm not really good at Street Fighter style fighting games. Even if I know the moves, i tend to flail around instead. Whenever this song comes on, though, I'm able to pull it together long enough to snatch a win or two. So this is pretty much my Power-Up Theme for Street Fighter style fighting games now. XP

I was a kid when I played this way back and when this song hit it made me feel like a god even though I was just mashing. Never forgot when I beat a cracked Oni B rank player by spamming Ken Shoryuken on wakeup. I was so proud.

I love this part of the game the location and it's origin music. I use Oni because he's easy to use and has pretty cool moves and combos, I just don't like it that he's a demon because I hate demons.

This is not a creepy map, lol.
There's concept art of Sakura hanging out down there, or places that look like Overpass anyway, and training. The overpass is near Sakura's hometown, and many of her story fights happen in this location. Including her fight with Ryu and Dan. So this is just Sakura's stage where she used to go to hang out with the other younger kids and train. And the lyrics are probably referring to her relationship with Ryu.
So unless Sakura has been a dead ghost child this whole time or some other cringy creepypasta shit...I think this is just a regular Street Fighter map. Isn't there literally a dude selling hotdogs or some shit?

Sakura is originally Ryu's biggest fan- in Alpha, she basically worships him. She later pushed herself to be the best she could (with the help of Dan Hibiki, who trained her). Eventually, Ryu looks at her like a younger sister.
