Because the franchise was away for a good while. And I'm not counting Alpha or Zero. The music came back hard with the revival of Ryu/Ken's master.

i am a ken main and my friend a ryu main, we always chose this stage like literally always if we played our mains, we treated it like a ritual.
It’s the only way to do it in SFIV
It's like the Final Destination of Street Fighter 4 lol
Same when Imm playing with some friends and shit gets serious we always choose this stage
It gives you that final battle feel. I remember me and a buddy who used to kick my ass and still did after but we had a great match to this! Most epic Street Fighter moment #2 for me.

Victor Scheffel Street Fighter 5 is so broken that they need to fix it for season 2. This year must be the most odd Capcom Cup ever. I have never been so bored by all grinding. Where are the combos? It's barebones with critical art.

i mean, compare SF6 gameplay and execution to SF4's... this music matches with the edge of your seat 5 hit combo gameplay, in SF6 you do a 25 hit combo into super for 60% while watching a youtube video in the background.
