    Ian doesn't say a lot but when he does speak it's always well thought-out. Thank you for sharing this.

    Ian is choosing his few words wisely. He's probably thinking, 'Better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.' Although he's no fool.

    Bill, Jack and Eric carry the conversation heavily throughout the entire video. The SNL chick tries to make a few jokes then remains quiet for the most part. The funniest part is when she attempts a joke and the camera cuts to Ian looking rather unimpressed haha! On that note, Ian only makes a handful of comments (11:52, 13:29, 17:30 in case you're interested). Still quite interesting to watch and to hear Eric complaining that gas is "going up" to $2 a gallon.. thats pretty much everyday here in Michigan lol.
    cool upload!

    • @peteshallcross787
      @peteshallcross787 Před 2 lety

      Hey Al, a Wisconsinite here who use to live in Michigan and we visit often. Wishing gas was $2 a gallon but that would mean turning the clocks back 18 months! Even Bill Maher is disgusted with these govt leaders.

    I had to look this Burkman guy up. I had no idea who he was, but I see he's still active and a big fan of tweeting pathetic and desperate lies; especially about the FBI, hoping and praying for someone to stop investigating his man Trump.

  • @johnnyribcage1
    @johnnyribcage1 Před 6 lety +5

    Wow what a weird scene... Ian was so uncomfortable. He tried to save it for a sec there then wisely backed the F out. You know Ian wasn't digging this because he had nothing to say. This is a very verbose man with a lot to say about practically anything. This was a weird ass conversation between some weird ass people for him to try to get in on.

    • @videocraque5384
      @videocraque5384 Před 6 lety +4

      And how incredibly rude can a host get? His dig at the dental hygiene/condition of people in Europe and/or England, that's not "polilical incorrectness", that's mere rudeness! Ian Anderson just took it in... Right up that guy Howard Stern's despicable alley. When you can't get a life you go for a job like that I suppose... I hope this was the last time IA accepted to appear on that show!

    So we have a washed up SNL comedian, an actor no one has heard of, a third rate Republican pundit and the best Rock Musician not rock and roll hall of fame...and Ian gets the least talking time of the group. No wonder this show go cancelled.

      There are many people who have heard of Eric Braden...Not only is he on Y&R but he was also on COMBAT! and Hawaii 5-0 in the 60's...just because YOU haven't heard of him doesn't mean no one else has. And, as other people have said-Ian chooses his words wisely AND is a bit shy on shows like this...I would hazard a guess that when he isn't on stage he generally shuns crowds or things that put him in the public eye.

    Victoria Jackson CHOOSES not to use her brain. VJ seems to have inhaled TOO MUCH glue! Ian Anderson is the alternate part of the classic rock triumvirate 2nd phase of the British Invasion ie, led zeppelin,black sabbath, and or tull/purple in fact I sometimes wished tull and purple would have merged! Bill Maher has become more corporate Democrat which is interesting from a way our(USA) politics moves from right to left.

    Victoria Jackson's comment was very intelligent, actually. If every polygamist had polygamist children, and all were fertile and fecund, then the country would be overrun with children within a very short time. It's a certain mathematical phenomenon.

      Not if you actually understand how basic arithmetic and biology work. A given woman can produce (so to speak) only so many children, and that number does not vary according to how many wives her husband has or how many husbands she has.
