TV documentary gathers images of Anderson's work in the factory of salmon Similar but shortened Fish & Sheep & Rock and Roll video 1986 • Jethro Tull Fish & She...
Very interesting. I don't think I've ever heard Ian talk about why he got out of this business. About the time that farmed salmon were being blamed for all kinds of problems with disease and pests. 100 tons of salmon is a lot of fish. Too bad I never got a chance to chow down on some Jethro Tull smoked salmon, I love the stuff.
When I listen to Ian's flute solos I hear whale calls sometimes so it seems having an enterprise that has to do with the sea makes sense to me. I always wonder if anyone else hears the sound of whales when he plays.
Is it just my imagination or is that John Evan(s) captured on film working at Ian's smoking factory at 8:17? I guess now we know the real reason Ian fired him from the band in 1980 ... to work at his salmon factory ... good employees are so hard to find, eh? 😂
