Abandoned 19th Century Victorian House (Fully Furnished) urbex
Makes me so sad to see old places like this go to rot and ruin when you think of the past that they had
It's true
But I would not want to live in an extremely old place, it's bound to happen. But it is sad
@@-xnnybimb-9398 if it had a new addition to whiring, and all new electrical. And all the old replaced and replicated by skilled carpenters. Im pretty sure this house can be around forever lol. And id live in it if it was restored in the right way :)
@@artaim2000 true
And the potential they still have
I love how you guys put a soothing classical music in this video. Makes it more enjoyable and very relaxing. Unlike the other youtubers who turned these kind of videos into some creepy, ghost hunting bullshit.
Wow I Agree I completely agree.
Yes, the music is great.
I have nothing against ghost hunting, I just hate their Techno rap music.
The value of that home and its contents are worth millions in United States dollars. This is a priceless gem and the woodwork and furniture is beautiful!!!! If those walls could talk! Absolutely beautiful.
I agree Bob
It's a chamberpot and stand. Used at night when you didn't want to go outside to the outhouse or into a cold hall and bathroom.
Don't know, but looked awful high for sitting? I made a thing like that for a croc pot, down low out of an old round floor ashtray as she was elderly and couldn't work from a counter!
Or a cammode as we call it today. Guys we missed seeing your last room
you said a beautiful room. But you had no light and we could not see. I guess you know by now.
Dorothy Robdau it’s the one in the thumbnail!
Thank you for that info Tracy ☺️❤️
It's nice seeing places like this that haven't been completely trashed by vandals.
You guys MUST protect your breathing in those old buildings. Mold, asbestos, decaying materials, all will harm your health. Obtain some good quality face covers (in the US we call them "respirators"), then record a voice-over narration edit later. Awesome videos!
wanketta is absolutely right and the damage can be insidious-one may not manifest any disease for years. You guys may be strong and healthy now, but aging happens to us all (if we're fortunate)-that's tough enough-and aging with a chronic, debilitating disease is doubly hard. You're young but not invincible! Be safe!
Wonderful video, by the way.
yes, good point.
wanketta-Someone makes that SAME COMMENT in EVERY VIDEO of theirs!!!! I still CANNOT UNDERSTAND why they WILL NOT PROTECT themselves!!!! :-O
PUTE ISLAMIQUE
That makes no sense. What does her name have to do with anything?
What does a summer camp have to do with anything?
People don't wear respirators at summer camp, hell its not even legal to have children in a home in such conditions, let alone a damn summer camp. The government health agencies would have a fit!
I can't say with certainty that your statement was intended to be insulting, because it has no logical relevance which could be a sign of a language barrier or low intelligence level, but if you were intending to be an ass, you really suck at it.
Mocking a name? Lmao
What are you, 8?
Ashley Sosa hahaha! I love this comment! 😂
this makes me cry, why? I don't know, i am nostalgic of a century, i didn't exist, wow
Maybe you lived that era in another lifetime. You feel like you can relate so much. That's all I collect.
I relate. Been to an abandoned small island. The empty houses, open doors, no windows .. empty shops, worship buildings... couldn’t help feel deeply within. I imagined what life would’ve been like then .. throughout the day, seasons, occasions. The emotions I experienced are hard to describe in written words but to put it in one word.. it was definitely sorrowful. I’ll never forget it my whole life.
As beautiful as these places are it is absolutely heartbreaking to view these beautiful historic, furnishings, chandeliers, peddal sewing machines, fireplace mountings, stoves, doorknobs and wardrobe closets staying there to rot with the house. How I wish someone would rescue them
Eleanor Fetterman if you like old architecture would you be interested in joining a Historic Architecture Amino I made?
I am so happy to see young people enjoying such beauty(without destroying it) It is actually very intriguing to hear his love and such passion for what most young people would find boring nor any knowledge of. That is so very rare!!! Thank you for your videos ,I so much enjoy .
Anne Anderson I agree, it's the first thing i thought.
Seeing a place like this leaves me in awe, and a little sad. I live in the States, and restore old houses. I love to bring them back to life and see family's enjoy them. It brakes my heart when owners let the roof go. Nothing destroys a house faster than a leaking roof. I hope they sell this, before it becomes to far gone to restore. Thank you so much for taking the time to film this.
lucy please please video some of your restorations and put them up here?? I miss watching this old house.....Love seeing new life breathed back into these old beauties!!! It is sad...if those walls could talk oh the stories they could tell! Even watching these videos is like seeing them open an old time capsule.
What is this music? It really sets the mood and I'm so in love with it!
Joe mama
@@unflow643 The fuck... Thats not even how you use it moron
Brooklin Cooper oh I wasn’t talking to you.. there is this guys in the reply section that said “joe mama”.. and no I am not a hopeless romantic but I love watching romance 😊

you are welcome ;)
@@newlanark6662 thnx!
slow down, spinning, whoa, wonderful antiques.. danke
PLEASE pan around slower. I know you guys had to hurry but I felt motion sickness watching this :( ...you should have gotten the owner's permission first. Most people would probably be happy to let you walk around and may even be happy to share the history of the place.
In the settings when watching a video you can slow down the speed, some things still get blurry but its a great way to see more.
Oh I did not know that. Thank you so much! Have you found out anything else about this place or who lived there? Also-I've seen a few videos of abandoned places and sometimes there are really valuable furniture pieces in them. It would be amazing if the owners could be hooked up with antiques people to save some of this amazing stuff.
what are the subjects & ages of some books
I adore old books
+all good - They were TRESSPASSING... if they took anything it would be STEALING.
Wistfu1Stargazer
Watching this with all the armoires and single beds, along with all the books; it made me wonder if this was used as a boarding school at one time?
That furniture left in the house is so beautiful, shame it is being left to rot.
Can you imagine how beautiful this place must have been when it was first built and occupied by a family... loved the walk through!
Leslie I'm from Australia and I'm loving your explorations and love how respectful you are not only the homes and the people who lived there. Thank you
Double beds, double sinks, so many bathrooms, many many books......the Mary figurines, and a picture on the wall of what appeared to be a cardinal. Catholic girls school.
Mandy L. Yep!! That's exactly what it was! All the bibles too. May have been a convent for Nuns also?
Why do they need double beds in a school?
Boarding school
Well I rather meant "why not single beds?"...given the abuse that went on in these institutions it leaves a bad taste in the mouth...
Likely only beds that could b obtained when the need arose.
Also would have taken up less room...than 4beds.. And could put more girls.
the singer was an ironing roller. they were used for sheets, tablecloths, etc. you guys need to take someone old like me with you next time. we used all that stuff. lolol
claudermiller haha I agree
It’s actually a pant press my grandmother had one
First time watching an older video of yours. I’m so happy to see where you have grown from within the content you document for us viewers. Love love Love! Exploring places has always been my passion, just not lucky enough to have followed that path. Hats to you my friend!
This is 1 of the most chilled out videos ive ever seen, that piano music in the background is really great, i love it. Your voice aswell. This is a go to video for me when i need to relax haha :)
It's such a shame that those beautiful furnishings are just sitting there, waiting to rot!! The owner could sell a couple pieces and afford to Restore the home😔😢
So true :(
Cat Momma maybe he likes the look it has now it might stand out less if it was all intact, though it is a shame
Yes, that toilet with the cushion alone is worth a fortune. I just think of all of the antiques I've seen, I've never seen one of those. And I've seen a lot of antiques.
Ct Momma - It would take a lot of money to repair this home. I agree with you about letting the furniture go. The only problem is that nobody wants quality real furniture these days. They all want new. We are a rare breed that loves the originals. I want to cry for the loss.
Cat Momma actually I think it should be left there as is an never removed.
please please please dont ever smoke while exploring. one careless unintended mistake and your subject is damaged maybe ruined beyond repair. its disrespectful and the smoke can damage the contents.
rickyt43515 Smoke spreads and affects other people. People have a right to criticize where and when you smoke when it affects more than just you.
Lynn Oldster sounds like a salty smoker.
Hahah milenial fragility at its best right there.
I'm a smoker and op is right. you don't go around smoking in a dry artifact, they are basically walking through a museum.
@@johnbarlow2458 No smoking in these environments makes total sense. It shouldn't have to be explained.
I love the way you said, "in every room, there's something special"
I just had to share some of your video with my husband because he has never been to Europe. I went to Germany as a child and loved every bit of the three years I lived there! Of course it was even more special because my family is from Germany.
I love these old victorian homes. Not sure why. :) Maybe I lived in one in my previous life. lol!
Same
No it's just that they are more charming than modern houses
come to Kansas City!! there's an old victorian house that has been preserved
You can tell people used to put more thought into their houses than people do now.
Bro0ke_ Lyn absolutly true i hate the modern arcitecture from nowadays
Way too fast and many shots out of focus. Unable to really appreciate.
Exactly what iwas trying to say
The video give me a headache because of the way he moved the camera constantly.
Glad to know not only me who feel the same
Pearl Wherry although he needed to be quick he still could have been steady, calm and through. Otherwise what is the point of the video if you can’t actually see anything.
Don’t forget about the constant heavy breathing. It made me want to mute the video.
Oh my God that chandelier was amazing! I can see it cleaned up and lighting up a beautiful entrance hall!
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE PEOPLE AND FAMILIES AND MEMORIES THAT WHERE MADE AT THAT HOUSE,! THAT HOUSE FULL OF HISTORY AND THAT IS PRICELESS ITSELF
You've heard of the phrase "You don't have a pot to piss in!", well, you couldn't say that to these folks. ;)
The fireplace is so beautiful. It's amazing how everything is still there.
I am late in discovering you on youtube, but I think that you and your brother are very special explorers. You demonstrate such respect and appreciation for the people who lived in the places you visit - it is a testament to your high character. You bring honor to this genre. A heartfelt thank you, and God bless and protect you both!
-With warm aloha from Hawaii!
*mwah*! ❤🙏😁
10:30 It's called a chamber pot, used for night time emergencies.
I think y'all did a great job and respecting the home. Thank You for taking the time to film. Beautiful furniture let behind absolutely gorgeous.
I know you were in a hurry to show us everything before the caretaker found you there, but in my opinion, it would have been better to only show us two or three of the rooms and take more time videoing them than rushing through the many rooms at such a hurried pace. It was very difficult to see much because you were planning your camera so fast most of it was just a blur...
I loved the shot of the beautiful stove and fireplace you showed us!!! I would have enjoyed seeing more about that stove and the marble inlay of the mantle!!! 😉
You mentioned that there were a lot of paintings and pictures in this old house... I caught a glimpse of a photo on the wall I would have liked to have been able to see it better.
As always, thank you for sharing this adventure with us but please, next time maybe pick just a couple of rooms and take your time giving us lighted detail of all your finds!! I would have loved to have seen more of that marble mantle and the very ornate stove that was there, and also The woodworking on the closets, chairs and beds!!!!
Thanks again, Cutie's !!!! Please be careful and stay safe!!!

Im binging on your vids! I adore ur work, ur a natural lol. Heartbreaking to see those antiques just sitting there, should be enjoyed again and appreciated. U guys are great, gorgeous find!
I love watching these because they're so very sincere & caring about the people & wanting to know & understand their history. We need more caring people like this.
The chandelier was absolutely gorgeous
Ye olde Crystal chandelier!!!
I like your voice and the music is nice. when you turn and move your camera fast it makes me a little dizzy. it's out of focus alot also. I gave you thumbs up tho. the furniture is beautiful. thanks
Thank you for a wonderful trip back in time...the music in the video was so respectfully and tastefully perfect !!!!
After watching this old one it's so interesting to note just how much you have improved over the years. That chandelier is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen.
Breaks my heart to see fantastic buildings like this going to ruin.
If I had the means I'd buy and renovate . Such a waste.
Im sad that all the furniture is there to just waste away ):
Steve muni China did all this
Yeah! What a waste of money
Why they don't sell or give it to someone..why wasting such a beauty 😢😢..actually I don't know there custom..plss anyone tell me about it?
thank you for making these type of videos!!! im so happy there are people like you!!
Awesome video guys! Thank you for exploring with us in tow. Love you ! 💙
That was a chamber pot. In medieval times it's what that was called. It's a portable potty chair. You do your business in it and the maids would take it outside and empty it. Early version of toilets.
joker gang, they are still called chamber pots. Most people owned them, not just the rich.
They were around in victorian times too I believe.
How amazing, I would love to be able to stay there for a time and read some of the books♥
Yea it is an amazing place I am just in love with it !
That was and still is a beautiful home. It’s too bad homes
like these are just left to decay. Thank you for not only entertaining us but also giving us a glimpse of history. If it wasn’t for people like you helping to preserve history we might never have an opportunity to view the past in places like this beautiful home
This is my favorite video. Excellent job, guys. Awesome.
That chandelier was beautiful
The furniture was amazing
Thank you so much for allowing us to experience what you both see I can tell you have a little cold and probably don't feel very good either but you push through and still continue to do what you do faithfully and so respectfully. So Thank you again Lindsay your videos fill me with great nostalgia for the times the people lived in these homes. But I also know it was in times of great struggles seeing all the work that had to be done in these house, palaces, and mansions.
Glad you make longer videos now! Thank you!
So sad! I hope someone will restore this home with love, respect and money as a result of this video.
So do I.
Very stunning home! Wow, the paintings, those beds were gorgeous! Thanks so much guys for sharing, I love this and I want to start doing this, exploring not video taping. I have always had a fascination w/ abandoned old houses.
This was awesome!! Thank you VERY much for this!!
This was awesome. So rare that all these are there still. Usually stolen or interior vandalised. I love furnishings.
History is wonderful !!! and you have hit the jackpot several times!
Yea i feel so to :D
Too bad you had to hurry because that place looked awesome. That one chandelier that you actually spent a few seconds on was really gorgeous! Nice find! I noticed one of you smoking...when you're in a building that's 100 years old or more, the very last thing it needs is a spark or hot ash landing on some old dried papers/books. There are e-Cigarettes. Think of these old places as museums. Just sayin'.
ZippyDooda Day I agree so much on that chandelier. It is gorgeous!
Very good work! 😊 I like to see this 19th century houses . good luck **!👍
Very beautiful home! Loved all the furnishing that is left there. Showed to my husband first time and he was quite amazed. Heard your voice Leslie on video while watching and he say "oh, watching your boys today?" He knows I like your videos best! Now you have new fan!!
Interesting video. I did see, however, someone SMOKING inside the house during filming. That has to be a definite no no. With the age and deterioration and dry materials in that building it would be destroyed in no time. By allowing someone to smoke while filming, you are giving a bad name to people of your trade. Thank you!
adoptafurkid mama I thought so too I just commented on it thank you
My husband used to be a firefighter, and he would always preach about this very thing . He also used to be a smoker, but he is smoke free as a result of becoming a parent. He’s used a vape for 5 years now and is off the cigarettes .
Logan Stroganoff why ? Don’t you know that there’s something called the “ clean air act “? Not everyone likes the smell of that stuff. And it’s just dangerous to smoke in a dry atmosphere like that. All it takes is a small cinder to catch the timbers and it’s up in fire and smoke.
You’re just plain stupid.
Denise Blair who says I have a boring life
Yes. The dust is surprisingly low, considering the time spent undusted...
Sad such beautiful furniture not being used and appreciated. I'd love to have all those books too!
In America we call the movable toilet a "chamber-pot" although I'd never seen one with the beautiful stand and cushions.
Sylvia Jones me too! I LOVE books as much as I love old buildings!
Sylvia Jones it almost looked like a jar that held ashes.
I’m really enjoying watching your adventures boys. Great stuff. I look forward to talking with you some day about all this on a television show
Holy cow. I could spend the rest of my life there just reading. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Many thanks for all the videos!European mansions are awesome!!Loved the empire wardrobe and the music background is
very appropriate for the ambiance!! Guys you are doing a great job!!!!
I have to say it is refreshing to actually see explorers have a passion for what their doing... others may "act" like they. BUT you almost sounded like you were getting choked up with how beautiful that place was
I love your appreciation of old places and antiques , people just don't savor these any more ,it should be,for one day it will be gone for good.
Your passion for the past is is amazing! Thank you for it and the videos!
It would be nice if the person filming this could get this in focus and not be blurry all the time. Gives me a headache.
+R in the next episodes everything is sharp 🖒No blurry anymore my friend :)
Bros Of Decay Well that's good because I am getting a headache. Nothing worse when making a video is bad focus.
***** Somebody needs more time with a camera or a better camera that will self focus instead of playing with it by hand because I couldn't watch it all, because it was giving me a headache.
R I said the same thing.
nohopewithoutjesus Well then good for you.
I have been watching a lot of your videos today. very nice. I love older homes and their stories and the traces of life left behind. I really appreciate and enjoy your channel. I will continue to watch because you are so respectful of the memories of the homes. I would like to see close ups of the paintings and photos you find that are hanging up in your videos too. keep up the good work
Loved this. Thanks so much! Wish you didn't have to hurry so fast, but understand why you had to do so! Amazing place. Books, books, books and toilets and sinks in sooo many of the bedrooms! Soooo interesting! Thanks again!
Awesome place, love the furniture. Great video guys. ...
I love how you always find the Bibles in the places you visit! :)
People were more religious back then .
Maybe trying to tell him something!!!
why don't u tell the background history of houses?
The crystal chandelier brought tears to my eyes. ❤️
Me to Jennifer
Great video...beautiful property especially the chandeliers & armoires. Yes that's an old latrine/toilet! Thanks for sharing.
That newspaper you found dated June 1978 in that old house is when I was born. Awesome find!!!!
What an awsome home must have been fabulous in its heyday ! Such sadness too see it like that x
With so many kids rooms it looks like it may have been a private school or something. Also because their were double sinks in some of the rooms, and a water fountain in the stairwell.
I’m just going to add.
What a wonderful house.
No too old for me, ha. But I have to say I really love to see those young people appreciating the value of those houses and furniture.
Thumbs up for them.
And thank you for taking the risk and made this video.
Thank you so much!
I thought it was a great video-- thank you for posting this! What a beautiful place it must have been in it's time-- very elegant. I loved all the books. I have just subscribed after watching this; I really liked your commentary as well. Well done!
I can't believe all the amazing things that are left behind in these places. That would never be the case here in the US. Suggestion just go a bit slower with the camera so we can enjoy it better. At 10:03 I love that light fixture. Another great one. Thanks I plugged this one again on exploring with Josh.....hopefully he'll get with you.
I agree with you about the camera work, too fast panning so you see nothing, I have commented before and they said sorry but still doing it. I have unsubscribed because there are a lot of good explores that do a slower video and are better
Don't unsubscribe to them, they are good at what they do, just need to gain experience. Time always improves. I like their vlogs.
Let him go, He's an ass.
If you paid attention to what they said in the beginning of the video, that they had limited time due to the occupants of the home next-door looking after the property.
I love these guys, so any critique is always a positive one. :)
5:27 bathtub oooh love love love daydream about warm bubble baths candles flickering soft light. 😍 Antiques galore. Home needs to be renovated (loved) these historical homes have a lot of energy. Thank you for brighten my day. Your channel is soothing (pacifying) and the classical music is nice touch. 🤗
I love your videos. The buildings and homes you video are awesome.
That was beautiful, I work construction in the United States restoring old mansion and building new ones. I hope you have an organization there like our Historical society that perseveres the history and the architecture of old places like this.
I don't understand why the person who owns it lives right next to it, but does nothing to it. He or she obviously has money. If that were me, I would have started renovation already. Not even all at once, but little by little. Maybe use the house as a hotel or hostel or something. Make a little money with the house! Wow!!!
Yes indeed :o I think that alot to
exactly -- it is a shameful, awful waste of beauty.
maybe due to age, finances, physical & mental faculties, and lack of trusted support then provides a challenging situation/circumstances in the current time. so sad,
I know right?!
Hi.. New subscriber. I love your videos. I love all the old furniture it's lovely.
Your awesome showing us the awesome architecture of these beautiful places.. that chandelier was kick ass .... The whole place was awesome i bet them paintings worth some bucks.. im glad it was tore up like alot of places
Wow pretty cool beans...amazingly intact and unvandelized, thanks for share😘
Everything shown was amazing.The chandelier...absolutely beautiful.TFS.
The drier you thought is an old iron that irons flat like they use in laundries for ironing the clothes..very quick too 😀 The pot with a lid looked like an Urn ..It is a beautiful villa loved it ,Thank you boys 😀
Hey Jordy and Lesley that was a magnificent mansion. The furniture in that house is worth thousands of dollars, being all antiques. Too bad it's just wasting away. This is a great video! Thanks guys!
THAT is how exploration should be made! Quietly, barely touched anything that could break, did not forced that locked closet... WOW! The only flaw was that guy smoking :( I'm a big smoker myself, but you were in a place loaded with dust and very dry materials... The ashes and smoke should have stayed outside, for safety and respect for that so beautiful place :/
Ruturlin Pinpin agreed
That Chandler was beautiful!!!
I love seeing homes with NO vandalism, good work boys A+A+A+
I love how respectful you are. Thankyou for sharing
I wonder if this home was used as a school or Seminary.
Fantastic find, guys! It's amazing how remarkably preserved everything is. I like that you just seem to know how to give just enough of a narrative and share your genuine excitement too.
Also, I'm about 90% surethat was a chamber pot. You use it as a toilet at night and dump it out (or, ahem... let your servants dump it out) in the morning.
Thank you for watching awesome to hear that you liked it !
So many beautiful things left behind. Thank you for showing and explaining what you are showing.
Wauw dit is echt heel bijzonder, deze locatie is echt goed gevonden!
