Very good vid. Yes its sad to see how in the end people just cant cope with living in the home they love any more. My neighbour lived in her home for 65 years, every day she went out to get a paper and from my window it always made me happy to see her walk past, rain wind snow she was out, i would always pop over and have a cup of tea with my neighbour she would make it in the teapot and china cups where the order of the day, i started to notice she was becoming very forgetful and that was hard to watch, i would then bring her to my home and make her tea and that, she was going down hill fast, would not take her meds and started to get lost when she went out, i had to call for help for her in the end, my neighbour went into nuresing care and is happy she is 97 now, when i go to see her she still remembers me, at Christmas time i went to a party in the home it was wonderful, people always think its better to try and remain in your own home but communitys are not the same these days and sometimes familys could not care less, some lead very lonely lives sometimes not seeing any one for days. I miss my neighbour on the street but i am happy she is safe and happy. This young guy on the vid understands its so important to show you care and remember that was someones life in that home for such a long time, hope the cat is still ok and the old lady is doing ok. Bless you for this wonderful vid.

Chris Mullan I had to put my mom in a care home about 3 yrs ago. It turned out she had dementia, when she was diagnosed and put on medication she was much better, I was trying to let her live in her home as long as possible. She became difficult when the homecare nurses came to give her, her medication. She started pretending she took it, without it she would hallucinate and was starting to become a danger to herself so we had to put her in a care him, she didn’t like it but the staff is amazing and caring looking after the residents. I found out they could look after her so much better in a care home then I could. It wasn’t easy to get her help so I can’t imagine what would have happened to her if she had no one to help her get the help she needed. So it is very sad for these people. Oh and my mom passed away July 10 this year 2019.

It's heartbreaking what happened to their home. I know it sounds terrible that they are living in a shelter but things could have been much worse for them...one or both could have perished in the fire, or they may not have been fortunate enough to find a Shelter close by so that the son can visit and care for their cat. God Bless them and I pray they find a new home to live in soon. Thank you for bringing their unique story to us and sharing their once beautiful home. You always see the beauty in these places rather than the Decay. Every abandoned house as once someone's home, and within the decaying walls lies many years of memories and history of the families that once lived in them. You and Jordi do is bring these memories back to life even if it is only for a few minutes at a time. And we can see through your eyes what these old abandoned places reveal. I always enjoy watching your videos and see the joy it brings to so many viewers. Til next time...

My heart breaks for them, they should be able to live comfortably and cherish their golden years. Your compassion for them shows what a kindhearted person you are. Please find the owner and encourage him to take the beautiful pieces left in that home before vandals do it! My heart and prayers go out to the mother and her son, I hope they receive the necessary funds to restart their lives and live a little more comfortably.

I seen a U-tube video bout a young woman who does urbex exploring she went into a house she thought was abandoned but here this poor old blind man lived there. No family his wife died. The house was in total decay. No way to cook dinner a real mess. She got some friends involved and did a “ go fund me” for him. She video taped whole story. His life is so much better and she got such a huge response from so many people it was such a heart warming story. U have the compassion for it would love to hear a happy ending to this story.

There’s gotta be something someone can do to get a single wide trailer onto the property. Someone else in the comments mentioned GoFundMe. Or how about contacting the media and explain who you are and what you do with the CZcams channel and see if there’s any help that can be provided. Good luck!!
