I have to say I only found these lads just now. Out of Ireland since 2006 and living abroad. Mary Black, Dubliners, Pogues, huge fan but this sound caught my ear and blown away!
I played the tin whistle for years and stopped playing for no reason and my dad after a good few pints always tells me that I shouldn’t have given up and wants me to get back at it. This is a fantastic song boys and your whistle playing has made me smile and maybe I’ll get the whistle out again

Totally agree
I discovered this by chance...listening to this song while taking pictures of a group of young people riding horses in Cork that I was responsible for. This was a magical summer camp that allowed me to get to know and fall in love with one of the most beautiful corners of our earth. And what a people : the Irish are just unique, only the thought that they do exist bring tears to my eyes.
How lucky you all are, for being born in such a place, and for being the way you are. Just the way you are indeed.

So I'm stressed to the hilt... Yesterday parking up in town after a really downer of a week. This song came on. Since yesterday I can't get enough of it. My daughters are all very musical in high grades of piano ukulele whistle and fiddle. My youngest is only starting and she loves the tin whistle but has just started. I said to her please look at this song and how the tin whistle can actually carry so much. As I always hear piano or drums more. But the whistle . Is absolutely beautiful.

This Irish kid at my school played this song on his little accordion thing and started singing today cuz it was saint Patrick’s day, it was so flipping cool. He was dead good as well.

I played this in my local pub and had everyone having a good time. My ancestors are from mayo in Ireland. Religion means nothing to me because i have the best of both worlds. We needs to put the past behind us and enjoy life because its a short one indeed. ❤😻❤

Great tune lads. Ye have pulled me out of a gambling addiction. Instead of spending weekends over drinking I was over gambling. And its got to stop. The rest of the week over thinking. Getting myself down. As the song says ill find a better plan. And its just the way I am but not anymore! Its mad what a song can do but I got a real push to stop all the gambling from these words.
