📲 Our Pick Up Limes app is finally here (1-week free trial!): bit.ly/PUL_app 🎉
I forgot to mention in the video: for the last recipe, if you’d like to speed it up, sub out the chana dal and the mung beans for 3 cups of cooked lentils from a can/jar, and add it straight to the pot at the end. That way you don't need to soak anything the night before 🙌😜 enjoy!
Happy New Year!!
Thank you. That makes it even easier again.
Happy New Year beautiful 💚
Happy new year Sadia! May I know what oil you used for the first recipe?
Same to you!!
Who else loves all her unique bowls and spoons and containers?? I'm often distracted by them lol
Thought it was just me
Yes. I also want to know what kind of cookware she uses on the stove . They look ceramic, but I haven't seen anything like that around here.
@@pixieflowess3493 also! i'm here for the ceramics
Kitchenware goals !!
I just love them too! 😃
i've been depressed and haven't cooked anything for a while but this video showed up on my recommended. the prep looked easy and i had the tofu + seasoning in my kitchen so i made it. anyway, i just wanted to say thank you because i feel a little better. xx
Don't forget to talk to someone, after enjoying your meal!
That's awesome! Good job! ❤🤗
That’s great! 💖
As someone who has suffered from depression on and off for 10 years, i am so proud of you 💞 the little things are big achievements and i wish you all the best for your future path.
❤️
I miss the produce prices I used to pay in Europe. It made it so much easier to eat healthy. Yesterday I just went to an American grocery store where I was able to pick up red/yellow bell peppers for the sale price of 10 for $10. On sale from its normal $1.69 each. Something about our system really needs to change.
It's ridiculous how much veggies cost here in Southwest Michigan!
5$ a lb here for organic
In France, it's expansiver too.
You are talking about Europe like its cheaper here. have you EVER been in Europe? We pay 5 Dollars for 3 small bell peppers here. and by small i mean a 10 yeared old child Fist size. Really doesnt sound like you have ever set foot in the Europe. Cause you dont know the prices even slightly.
@@inceneration - Europe is a big place, prices vary. Not a big deal. They’re just referencing the specific prices Sadia lists that she paid for produce in this video 🤷🏻♀️
"Oh hey there!" Sadia's Canadian is showing and I love it 🇨🇦
Exactly what I thought 😂
was just about to comment on this, but you already did! haha
The tofu looked irresistible but the tart truly resembled a work of art 💜
Agree!! And she makes it look so easy that I believe I can rock that myself. And I will!😋
Dude😱
I completely agree 👍

I just wrote the same thing lol.
Sadia’s charisma is like transmitted into her foods. Beautiful, eloquent, classy, relaxing and as I keep watching her everyday the feeling of inspiration and bliss is also transmitted to me. I’m sure I’m not the only woman who adore her. 😍
Me too. Shes my favourite plant based person to watch. Beautiful food, beautifully presented each and every time. A true winner in my books. Love her.
You most definitely aren't. She is the type of woman I aspire to be, and I never say that. She is so calm and well put....
@@LL-wu5ui 100%
Yeah, for sure. I love her videos! So well thought out, beautifully placed and filmed, and what a kind soul. I adore her, and also aspire to be like her. She has such a calming presence!
That's true! And as I remember, she puts a lot of work into her recipes so they always turn out nice, and she probably worked a lot so she has this great character too
It's one of the most valuable vegan cuisine channels on CZcams. I love how healthy, aesthetic and just normal and available these meals are.
Greetings from Poland!
Struggling with anxiety right now. Took a break to watch this because I knew it would be a beautiful, soothing distraction. I know it’s a food video but truly it’s so much more right now. Thank you.
I'm sooo happy that she's posting more budget friendly recipes, can't wait to try all of them!
Enjoy! 💕
@@PickUpLimes has a
@@PickUpLimes I'm wondering if you could explain your serving price calculation? I love that you're including more affordable recipes, but that serving of pineapples in your first dish alone is over $2. One single fresh chilli pepper at my local grocer is $1.50, don't even get me started on fresh ginger. If I were to meal prep any of these recipes it would easily be $150-200 and only make around 5~6 servings. Perhaps your food costs/burdens are better in the Netherlands, but I'd like to understand how to stretch my grocery budget to incorporate more of these healthy and vegan meals.
czcams.com/video/i5tfssq9Wm0/video.html
@Pick Up Limes thank you . Totally understand costings will be different around the world. Thanks for inspiration x
The water in which the mung beans were boiling is very nutritious. If you simply add some ghee, cumin seeds and a pinch of salt to it, it makes one of the healthiest soups to have before a meal, in winter or even when you are feeling a little sick.
- a comment from a fan sitting all the way back in india ❤️
True!!
The most non-judgmental vegan food channel on youtube
Can you make us a "go shopping to the supermarket with me!" so we can learn where to shop those things in the netherlands (and EU)♥ Lots of love for you!!!
Yes! I'm in Germany and I have no idea where I'd buy this stuff... I have a Penny and edeka near to my place and I cannot imagine getting mungo beans or chana dal in there... :-/
If you have an asian supermarket nearby, like the Amazing Oriental, their tofu is usually cheaper than the AH or the Jumbo. Also spices are also usually in bigger packs and cheaper
@@Domihork Hast du einen asiatischen oder türkischen Supermarkt in der Nähe? Da bekommst du alle möglichen Hülsenfrüchte, auch Mungobohnen und Chana.
@@Domihork try Aldi
And puff pastry is not vegan right, so where can we get the vegan kind, i'm so curious bc i've been looking for that my whole vegan journey.
Bloopers; It's so lovely to see a CZcamsr showing that videos and whatnot are a result of many takes and that real everyday cooking doesn't normally look this effortless! Thank you!
That “oh hey there” was the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day🥺
I saw the first recipe, paused it, went about my day, went to the store, got home and made the tofu sweet n sour, now I'm eating it and watching the rest of the video 😄 soooo good 🙌🏾🙌🏾
This video in one word, THOUGHTFUL.
From her intro to the effort that goes into these meals to, of course, her entire beautiful personality.
The pie was a real beauty to look at. I would love to try that.
I love the fact you're still creating these budget videos!
Going to the NL for an exchange semester and your recipes not only give me ideas but also a rough estimation on the cost of food :D
All in all, a big big thank you Sadia!
Sending you all the love and best wishes for the new year!
I'm so craving the sweet and sour tofu now! That's going straight on the meal plan for next week! I love your videos so much, the sweet calm vibe and the way you make cooking vegan food look totally doable is so motivating to me. ❤️
I can’t believe these delicious looking of meals can be made in budget💓 Magic of cooking😍
I could listen to her voice all day, so calming 🙌🏼
The food looks so healthy and wholesome, and displayed so beautifully. Love watching this show!👍

Her charisma, her passion, her everything is just so friendly and addictive! 💗 your content!
OMG… just made the Sweet and sour tofu stirfry and It’s literally THE best tofu I’ve ever had. Sooo flavorful! This is going on repeat at home. Thanks PUL!
I just love your recipes and how simply and quickly you throw them together whilst making them look and taste flavourful and delicious! Perfect for busy people!
Hey, I don’t know if you have already done this, but could you do a video on how to eat healthy in college? Along with a few dorm friendly meals? Thanks a lot, love your videos!
Take ideas from her simple recipes videos, budget videos, and pantry videos. All of her recipes are already healthy so no need to worry about that.
This series is amazing. Honestly as a student without much equipment or budget for food I enjoyed watching your recipes but never planned on actually making them. This is making me change my mind :)
I love how peaceful your videos are!
The bloopers are essential!!! Thank you for embracing your not so perfect moments 😅. Also the studio is literally the most beautiful room I’ve ever seen... PLANTS!
Looking forward to the Coconut Green Spinach Curry the most! 😋
Sadia never fail to inspire me and get me in a good mood. I will absolutely try the recipes!
Oooo I'm so excited to try this out, especially the curry! Thanks Sadia and PUL team. ❤❤
Looking great 🥳
Love your recipes Wil!
Love your recipes.
owww you're here sir 🙈
I just tried the sweet and sour tofu stir fry and it was so amazing! My husband says he wants it every week and my kids tried their first sweet and sour with pineapple and they loved it!! I’m really in love with all your recipes! You are just amazing!
This is like an ASMR cooking video and I love it. All 3 of these dishes look like culinary masterpieces. 😩👌🏻 I can't wait to try them.
Everything you make looks soo delicious 😋 and i will definetly try making at least one 💕
I absolutely love how you’ve combined beauty and health into an expensive yet devious dish! Thank you so much
I just made the green curry (had some cooked urad dal in my freezer, plus a can of cooked lentils and with frozen spinach). This was soooo good! The whole family loved it! Thank you for your great recipes.
The plants are about to take over xD
I hope they do! 😏🌱
@@PickUpLimes I know I would, in any environment that gorgeous and lovingly taken care of! Everything looks delicious as always! Your colourful videos are brightening my day.
well.. they kinda did already in most parts of S America. Quinoa is devouring Bolivia's fields and there have been massive deforestation for Avocado Trees :( I could go on, but I think it's suficient for now
@@PickUpLimes will you do a video where you share how you’ve hung the plants...? Every time I watch I wonder about that. 🦋🙏🏻
I really love how colorful your food is. Can’t wait to try out these receipts for myself! 😊
Everything you guys create is really nothing short of pure genius !!!! Big big fan !!!!!!!
I really appreciate your hardwork and effort to explain everything simply yet in details along with prices too..
I love your pothos plants! You’re the reason I have so many houseplants now!
I just wanted to say that what you’re doing is amazing! I’ve been vegetarian for almost two monts now and I always cook based on your recepies and they are awesome! We don’t have every ingredient available here in Hungary but the recepies I have ingredient for were perfect! ❤️
Your videos are always pleasing and aesthetic to watch
As a college student, these videos are soooo helpful🤗🤗thanks so much
Literally going to try and make all of these, thank you so much for the free high quality content as usual :')
I tried making the sweet and sour stir fry and it turned out amazing. It was so delicious and my family loved it! Keep making these videos! 🥰🥰🥰
I have been following you for years now, honestly, your recipes are so creative and wholesome. Thanks and keep the good work.
I love this series so much! Also, the tart is something I never could have come up with when trying to think of a budget meal so kudos for that
I am not vegan, but i try to eat as healthy as possible, and your videos are always inspiring. Thanks Saadia 🙏
just ordered all the ingredients i need to make that tart; it looks sooo good 😍💞
I eat your dill falafel three times a week for half an year now. The Christmas chocolate muffins had been really amazing. I'm so thankful that you exist. After I knew your channel I continuously improve my diet....and I don't eat meat almost any time now. Thank you so so much. Wish you all love and happiness and if there is some justice, only nice things should happen to you.
Made the Green Coconut Spinach Curry yesterday... I never thought I could cook something this delicious! I was basically thanking Sadia at every bite I took. Thank you! ♥️
The last one made my mouth water omg
I made the sweet and sour stir fry tonight ! It was a hit ! I had no idea I could make a sauce like that at home ! Yum
So happy to see budget friendly recipes that are not just pasta! Really good ideas!
All of your cookware and baking accessories are so pretty!
Love them all - so colorful and delicious 😍🌈
Legendary meal prep as usual! Thanks for sharing!
Thank YOU! 🌻
The recipes , the editing , the visuals are just perfecto!!
I love the bloopers! Reminds me of something you mentioned in the video about happiness, you said something about how your life is not as pristine as we see in the videos. I loved that!
I made the tart and it was so so yum, but i would highly recommend not adding any alt to the vegetables in the beginning, because my sundried tomatoes were so heavily salted that there was just way to much salt in the filling. But definitely give this tart a try💗
Agreed for the salt!
That tart looks absolutely amazing! 😋😯
Your youngest, 10 year old fan- from Vancouver❤️
J’aime beaucoup l’esthétique de tes vidéos ! Merci pour ces recettes
Much awaited video!!!!thank you pul !
These look absolute delicious!
Tofu stir fry is amazing. Going to try it first.
Gosh these are so therapeutic! Thank you!
Yess! I was just watching ur old budget videos and was wishing for another one, because I already knew the recipes by heart😁
I love how versatile all your ingredients are! ❤️
Oh btw, mung daal is pronounced as 'moong' dal in Hindi. ❤️
Fantastic 😍 Rewelacja! Greetings from Poland🇵🇱
the ingredients for the last recipe seem so accessible. I am excited to make it. my mom will be so proud!!
I love you, am so Happy to find someone who cooks like you ! Tnx☺️
the second dish looks a lot like the Ratatouille dish from the movie XD
Sadia's new video Up! Ahhhh peace finally 💖😌💕
I love this video idea !!! My favorite meal is the third one you showed ! 😍
I just love the transparency so much!
So glad to watch this. Healthy recipes without breaking my wallet.
I'm storming into the Albert Heijn tomorrow with 1,50 euros in my pocket
It's per serving though so..
Yep, not a chance you can get a red bell pepper in AH for 30c!
@@travelswithmytribe try at the market. veggies are cheaper there ;)
@@alynastan Thanks - as a Brit I find food here extraordinarily expensive, even at the markets. I do most of my shopping in Germany where prices a better. :-)
czcams.com/video/Rby8MQhUftA/video.html
I've made this tart so many times, it's to die for. So cheap and easy to put together, looks great and you also get a lot of nutrition in from the hummus (I use homemade), peas, dried tomatoes, onions and garlic... Loooove it so much, it's been a success with everyone who's tried it.
Never been soooo Early
Ahhh I’m so happy 😁
This food looks too beautiful to eat.
The things I would do for a printed cookbook!!! I know there's the ebook, but having a physical copy would be so incredible. Every recipe just looks so beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing! Your cookware and serving pieces are as beautiful as the food. Continued Blessing!
The "oh hey there" is so canadian hahahaha
I wish I had your knife skills. That's the thing that slows me down the most, even with a decently sharp knife lol.
Your not alone, Faith, my knife skills pretty much suck! I have to work on that!
@@ChrisGaultHealthyLiving Takes me like 20 minutes alone to chop my veg 😂 We'll get there one day 💪
the cutest bloopers :) That tart!! 😍
I just did the first two recipes and I'm in love, head over heels in love.
Would be really helpful for us dutchies if you could maybe mention where you buy everything :) Like the tofu seemed like a really good deal :D
It looked like the tofu from the lidl.
I love these recipes, but i gotta say, in my world, a cup of sun dried tomatoes is NOT $0.63
Yes!!! In my country it costs around $3 or more
Yeah the bell pepper in my country is like $1/ for green and $2-3/ea for red, yellow and orange.
Almost everything she showed is way more expensive.
I live in the Netherlands and we are considered to have relatively cheap supermarkets in this region (not alcohol or cigarettes though) and I just can't imagine the UK supermarkets being around 50% cheaper then supermarkets here. It's super unrealistic. I really want to know where she buys her foods.
@@sarafray In the Dutch supermarket you can get bell peppers for ~€0,80 a piece or €1,50 for a tricolour pack. Hers are probably from the market, buying a kilo or so. My sundried tomatoes in oil (180g/260g) are like €0,76. No idea how much goes in a cup...
Cheers for greenhouse farming I guess?
@@Tinky1rs I'm jealous!
The bloopers are my absolute favorite haha. All these dishes look great
I made the sweet and sour stir fry tonight and it was a huge hit with everyone in the family, so thank you!
ngl this channel has been essential on my journey towards veganism. It makes things so much more doable and accessible.
Oh I’ve missed these new video notifications
The tart looks amazing! Your videos make me so happy.
I'm openning my channel with delicioud recipes, because eating well helped me, with my stress, health, and mental well being🙏🙏🙏
