Prepare for the wholesale slaughter of the compact car market. I started looking at a Civic & Corolla, but ended up buying a Kicks. From most comments on CZcams, one would have the impression of everyone is a street racer. There is no glory in day to day urban commute to and from work stuck in traffic. One just want a comfortable, efficient, roomy, safe and connected vehicle to get you from A to B. Throw in a good price, deal done.
I love my EcoSport it's very fun to drive I needed a four door because I have a child on the way and my truck doesn't have a back seat but my wife has a F 150 crew cab and the EcoSport is a nice family hauler and keeps miles off the trucks
The price for the Kona in this video should have afforded them the ultimate trim or at the very least the limited trim. Both of which have a killer 1.6T and 7 speed dual clutch transmission. Blowing up the rest of the class!!!
Easily the worst segment of automobiles. Useless and slow. Kona with the 1.6L T engine is the only respectable offering. Kicks is a raised, slower Versa.
FYI, Kona with 1.6T is close to $9,000 more than a fully loaded Kicks SR. With no sense of the value of money & clueless as to what cars are for; my guess is that the only cars you drive are imaginary ones in a game console.
@@HLMAX Without awd the Kicks is a "sport-utility vehicle" that offers no more sport and no more utility than any car. Atleast the kona can handle minor offroading and even tow a small trailer/pwc.
@@Nathan-jw1qn The Kicks is an inexpensive CUV, a hatchback with more ground clearance, lots of space and features for an exceptional price. If you are to throw an extra $9000 into the equation, there are tons of cars for that kind of money. You are into AWD Rouge Sport, Rouge, CR-V, RAV4, etc.

These non-AWD optioned, raised hatches should get their own segment. Should included Trax and Encore.
I like the ecosport might mot have the acceleration some people enjoy but it does what it needs to do.
