Love the vids! Please do more 12 gauge tests in general. Also for lead, please try and use the long beard 3" magnum loads (ie: 1 7/8oz 1050fps) not the standard 1 3/4 1200 fps. I've found the magnum 6s out of my long beard are the best lead loads. Also, in my jurisdiction we limited to 7tss or 4 to 6 shot lead. Also, the TSS choice is abysmal here. Hence the LB #6. Thank you guys for the great work!

Need to send you my 510 mini in 20ga to test, it has that short barrel too. Running a .555 in it now with 10s, but would be curious to see what it would do with some difference chokes.

Mine likes an Indian creek .660 and apex gt-3 2 1/4oz load 9s

I also have the 940 pro turkey with a 18.5 barrel and I put a hawke turkey scope and a urbino Mesa tactical 12.5 steady grip stock on it and plan on shooting longbeard ONLY because always had good luck with lead in a 12 gage so still waiting to see your test results on lead with the 670,660 and 650 chokes thanks!

Jake I know my Mossberg 535 Turkey Thug with an 18" barrel hammers with an Indian Creek .660 choke. I have shot the Apex small town blend, Ol' Tom Blend, Greenleaf, straight 9's. And have also shot Viper, Wilson, and Burgess Creek loads through it and it has patterned really good with all of them, it also throws great patterns with the 2 3/4" 2 ounce loads I have shot through it. And unlike my 835 and 935 neither my 535 nor the 940 are overbored so I bet your 940 will handle the tighter constriction.
On a side note the 535 I have is the hardest kicking gun I have ever shot (it only weighs 6.25 pounds). It was my very first turkey gun and I fired three 3 1/2" shells out of it but it rattled my sphincter and I said no more of that nonsense.

I got a Mossberg 935. It likes the Indian Creek .675. Can’t afford that TSS. The Long Beard XR works good with that combo.

I’ve seen on another video that Mossberg said that factory choke isn’t rated for TSS. Might ask them to verify!

Please test Longbeards in 5 & 6…unfortunately I live in NY and it’s such a pain having ammo shipped here from the custom makers.
We are based in NY it’s literally zero hassle that’s how we test everything

I've had my pro turkey for a week now and I'll admit, it patterns better than any gun I've had. That being said, I've had a lot of trouble out of it. Rib is soldered in a slight curve down the barrel, it won't even touch paper at 20 yards with the front bead (7-8 inches high 2-3 inches right), bolt only locks open after last shot about 75% of the time, and had several mis feeds with super x shells. I love the way it patterns but I'm getting the run around with mossberg customer service right now. The factory choke patterns surprisingly well
Keep us updated this one has been flawless running everything and shoots pretty true to me right out the box which I was shocked
Have you tried to adjust the stock at all to fit you for the bead? It comes with a bunch to adjust it
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA yessir I have. I had to add some rise in the stock to be able to bear down and see flush down the rib. Out of the box I couldn't see the bead when I took my cheek weld. I could understand it being a couple inches off one way or the other, just not as much as it is for a $900 purchase. I'll keep you guys in the loop
