- Harris County Deputy Fernando Esqueda was shot and killed in the line of duty on Wednesday night, and a search is underway for the shooter. Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick shared some emotional comments on Thursday morning.

Saw the video of number of shots that was fired toward deputy. There were so many that investigators ran out of marker to point to numbers of shelling cases

The laws are strict enough. The problem is that prosecutors are not charging the criminals properly if at all. If they are properly charged and sentenced, crime would be cut in half within a few months.
