  • Lychee flavoured milk and rice pudding
    Ingredients:
    Lychee - 15 nos
    Rice Soaked - 1/2 cup
    MIlk - 3 cups
    Sugar - 4 tbsp
    Assorted nuts - 3 tbsp
    Saffron - few strands
    Green cardamom powder - a pinch
    Rose essence - 1 tsp
    Ghee - 1 tbsp
    Ingredients:
    1) Heat ghee in a pan,add assorted nuts saute till it gets little brown, now in a blender grind the soked rice by adding little milk, and grind coarsely
    2) Now add rice and milk now cook until the rice gets soft for 15- 20 minutes stir constantly so that the rice does not settle down and gets burnt
    3) now peel and de-seed the lychee and keep it aside,when the kheer is little thick add sugar,saffron,green cardamom powder and mix it up well,add rose essence and lychee and boil for few minutes
    4) Now remove it in a bowl and garnish with rose petals and serve

    hi chef am from odisha . I just can't thank you enough for sharing such wonderful and easy recipes before some 15 days ago I learned masala kichdi from you and made it the same day since then I made 3 times and my husband praises me every time I make it and always want me to share the recipe with him so that he can make for Me and I used to reply that chef harpal has taught me this recipe so can't share bcz it's my favorite chef's recipe and I don't want to share it so that I can make ànd serve it to my dear family. chef love u looooooooots u r an inspiration RESPECT

    Can I use litchi crush instead of fresh litchi? Bcoz In our city litchi is not available

    sir it is nice to see u kindly suggest what is peepli in hot spice and what is long pepper . do we have 17 spices ideally in garam Masala ?also give me recipee of chocolate madhuri of bikaner

      Peepli is long pepper and yes there are loads of spices that combine to form garam masala..

    I tried this but my litchii kheer curdled. Is it because that they were sour? It still tastes good though. I was wondering will coconut milk will enhance the flavour more??

      sakshi bist when made from fresh lychees cook in sugar syrup just to avoid curdling at times
