If I cut back the Aster, can I use the stem cuttings to propagate new plants? I have a Late Purple Aster.
Noooooo. Not spiderwort. That stuff spreads like a virus. I worked at a native prairie plant greenhouse and it was out of control. It looks like crap in the landscape once it's done flowering, too.
