Roar is my daughters song. She was born with issues, and as she was literally fighting for her tiny precious life, Roar was playing on a loop. It was so fitting. Even to this day, 5 years later, when she hears it she smiles at me and says “that’s my song daddy”. So, thank you.
I love that she said that if she was to re-write 'I kissed a girl' in 2018 she would change a couple of stereotypical lines. People need to stop judging her for that song which she wrote ten years ago. People change. Our ideas change.

If you haven't already, look up the video by some big (German or Norwegian I think?) singer on CZcams that goes in depth on how shows like AGT exploit and manipulate talented artists who come to them hoping for exposure and guidance. They all dodged a bullet. It's better to just be your own artist and make a name for yourself that way. They're all clearly doing just fine without any record label or AGT so kudos to all of them!!
