Concept clarified!
I was under the impression that my retro saturn (3° 14' Saggitarious) was aspecting(7th) my lagna (14° 51' Gemini) and my Mercury (28° 8' Gemini) since they were in opp signs.
Now its clear that the orb of Saturn (24° 14' Taurus to 12° 14' Gemini) is falling out of range of both my asc and my asc lord mercury in the lagna.
So there is no 7th aspect here. Funny..

How do we consider the aspect of Rahu or Ketu?
I found no mention in prime classics like Brihat Jataka Saravli etc
Guru ji 🙏 Good input on Orb, Combustion, Planetary war, Amavasya. So we shouldn't consider Rahu Ketu aspect which was broadly taken as 5,7,9 similar to Jupiter by many astrologers and even astrological books.

Good day sir . If sun is at leo 3 degrees and mercury is at 7 degrees in leo and moon is at 24 degree in leo for Virgo ascendant . Means 1st lord mercury in 12 th house leo . So with is buddhaadipatya yoga is strong or weak since mercury is just 4 degree away from sun . Is mercury is in combust state . Some astrologers tell mercury will not combust under sun . Please clarify sir.since sun in moolatrikona is vipeeretta rajyogam is applicable or not . Just for knowledge I want to know sir.

Planet should be how close so that we consider it as conjunction. Ex. Planets with 10 ° or 15° apart is conjunction or different planet has different degrees

When gauging planetary strength, sun is placed at 27 degrees in your example. Would it impart any results at all because of the advanced degree placement? Or should the shadbala strength be considered to figure out strength of results the planet will likely provide?

In this cas doesnt it mean it aspect the full house rather than part of it?
You have got it. It aspects a part of the house with full intensity and gradually it lessens from the centre of the orb of influence.

Obviously the orb of influence will get modified due to the planetary motion. But, let us for the start keep it simple.

In Planetary war, the planet with the higher lattitude, not longitude wins And it is a local phenomenon, cannot be decided by longitude alone. Just like combustion.
Sir if two planets are in the same house but in different signs(shift in bhava chart from rasi chart)..will it still be considered a conjunction?
If the degrees between them is within the range of the orb of influence.
Hello Sir, I have a doubt.
Say, Saturn and Moon are in the same house at 19° and 8° respectively. Now if we consider that orb of influence, Saturn has no influence over Moon but it does fall within the orb of influence of Moon. So do we treat this situation as a conjunction?

also since Ammavasya is discussed, we know Tamils consider Amavasya as auspicious But Not Telugus. How about Kannadas ? Astrologically there is a theory that Moon shows properties of 2 padas ahead- half-a-day. May be thats the answer ?
Amavasya happens/starts when Moon is 12 degrees behind Sun and then catches up to Sun and until it crosses Sun. But, the funny fact is the moment Moon passes Sun and is a second ahead of Sun (but very much over the Sun) it is called Prathami and not Amavasya.
We need to go through the Muhurtha calculation texts to understand this better. All the three tithis, the chaturdashi (the 14th of both waning and waxing), the Amavasya or the Poornima and the Prathami (of both waxing and waning) is not considered for any auspicious occasion or Shodasha Muhurthas.
Astrology practiced in different places and by different communities have got altered by their own practices and customs, but the Astrological Tenets of the texts remain the same and have not relevance to language, race, religion, caste or community.

If planets are not conjunct but are in the same house, how will they give results? For example, Venus and Mercury are in the 7th house but not conjunct or in orb of influence. How should this be understood? Do we need to consider the results of these planets individually? and one more request sir..
