i like this video, i'm building a 28/29 model a pickup, i want to drive this truck everyday and i like lots of leg room, i'm going to be running a flathead 8, i want it to be an auto trans, i dont want to move the firewall back or have a large bellhousing hump, so i'm thinking of using a powerglide i can run under the seat via a torque tube, to mount the flex plate i have an old cast iron bellhousing i can mount backwards to the front of my powerglide and add some bearings and a shaft, by having a short tail shaft it all should fit in there quite nicely.
