@Venom's Tech it is not a good laptop it has many problems- lags sometimes, it is a gaming laptop but still lags on games like fifa 23 when it is unplugged, after i purchased it, it stopped working 3 times and everytime technician had to come and fix it and he agreed this model of dell has problems, he changed the mother board but the problem continues...... never buy dell laptops, support is bad they took more than 1 month to come and check the laptop

@@nightmayr9957 I understand I was new to laptop that time but this laptop is not good, if you are playing a heavy game and plugs in this laptop shuts down and you have to call a technician to fix it, and the technician from the Dell takes forever to come Dell has the worst customer support I have ever seen till now.
I own the first gen Dell G7 15” and the G series has definitely gotten better. I hope to pick this laptop up or maybe next year’s version in 2023. Great video man.

I have heard DDR5 Ram performs almost same via 1 or 2 ram sticks. Is that true? I heard some say that DDR5 ram in and of itself is dual channel or somethig like that so doesn't necessarily require a second stick.

Yesterday, My Dad bought me Dell G15 i5 12thgen 12500H for 68,500\- in Nehru Place Market. With it got a Dell Bag too. I'm soo happy and feeling greatfull that's one of the best gift i've ever received from anyone. But, i'm using this lappy for my Machine Learning Projects. Even if it's for Gamming. . i Thanks my Dad🤩🥰🥰
Been using this laptop for a while and have been through my fair share of issues with it. However my 3rd replacement unit finally performed as expected. I think the earlier units had some defect but the latest one which i got performed as it should. If you are a creator and are looking to buy this i would highly recommend upgrading the ssd (ofc 16 gh ram too) as the ssd that this comes with is very basic when it comes to reading high bitrate files. I upgraded to a sn850x and the performance difference was very evident. You can buy an encloser for the stock ssd to use it as storage as this only comes with one ssd slot which is also a bummer. Although for gaming i have experienced no issues.
Same with me its my 3rd replacement .... But in 3rd product after 1.5 months my laptop takes longer time to starts .... After then i went to service center then i found that there is some problem in mother board and they changed it two times and give it in windows 10 and suggested to use windows 10
@@zaheerkhan8529 i had to file a consumer court complaint i would recommend you doing the same and ask for a refund. They will deny it if you do it without the consumer complaint. You did not pay for windows 11. Dont keep the faulty laptop brother thats not worth your 90 k

I brought Tuf Dash F15(2022) last month. Earlier I was going for this Dell, but I can strongly suggest if you want productivity, 1080p gaming and 4 hour battery life, you can definately hit for Tuf. On top of it I got 8gb varient in 77K.

@@yuvrajsandhu07 I haven't played any game on Dell G15, so I can't exactly say but yes I know Dell G15 has 85 watts &10 watts is the boost. Plus for productivity factors like battery and panel display I say Asus does a far far better job. I had game on a 45 watt 3050 on Asus Vivobook OLED and difference was significant if not great, after all RAM plays a vital role too.

@@bingewithanurag if you are planning to buy one just go for it man, at this price range it's the best compared to its other competitors like Acer Nitro 5 and all, and you are getting DDR5 RAM, with RTX 3050 (95W) at just ₹72,990 now at Flipkart and Amazon. The performance is beast no doubt about it, and dell's Customer support is the best out there man. No issue with heating, fans are pretty fast and silent, it won't affect your overall experience and gaming performance is top notch

Got this laptop with 16 GB Ram, 1TB SSD for just 70K (got sale benefits and bank benefits), it's been working just fine for me, the mux switch in the bios isn't much of the use as i use external display, overall a good laptop with sturdy build.
also it gives backup for 3 to 3.5 hours if you solely use it on battery saver with 100% brightness, sometimes goes to 4 (only when i'm coding and stuff), overall good battery backup.
just two drawbacks, It's quite heavy including the power brick, and the fans are quite loud on G-Mode, bud overall not such thermal issue and headphones make it better.
If someone knows the answer, please tell me if i can use type-c keyboards on this laptop

Hi, bro after watching this video I purchased this laptop with the same specs, and as suggested I upgraded the ram from 8 to 24 GB. will it enhance our performance or not coz I heard that we should insert the same rams like 16+16 or 8+8 to get effective dual-channel performance. I think MSI Alpha 15 Ryzen 7 5800H with RX 6600M is way better than Nitro 5 and Dell G15 in terms of gaming and currently 5,000 /- less as well
ya its an awesome device. i am recommending my friend to buy 100srgb display version for gaming and editing. i myself bought ideapad 5800h 3060 90w 16gb ram 165hz 3ms 100%srgb display. (i was eyeing alpha but they increased the price in sale and then stock out. so i got 1.10 lakh ideapad for 83k so i took it this is also insane device.

IdeaPad review says it gets high on temperature so I prefer to go with something in between 3050 and 3060 GPU performance that I can get with 6600M plus it has 8GB vram for futuristic games.

I bought the G15 5520 , and I kinda regret it.
Just Days after this video, I bought the Dell G15. I am not critising Venom, I am just sharing my experience after using this product after 6 months.
I've been a Dell customer for a long time, and I've always been impressed with their premium laptops and exceptional hardware quality. But this new G15 5520 is a major disappointment.
It started two months after I bought it, when I noticed that it was getting insanely hot even when I was just browsing CZcams on Chrome. I ignored it at first, thinking “oh, it’s a gaming machine, it’s normal to heat up a bit”. But then summer came and it became unbearable. The right side of the keyboard was so hot that I couldn’t touch it. And the battery life was atrocious.
I decided to check the battery health using Windows cmd prompt and I was shocked to see that it had dropped from 54K to 41K in just a few months. And guess what? The battery health on the day I first booted the laptop was already 48K, which means they sold me a defective product from the start!
I contacted Dell service center and they were useless. They asked for access to my PC and did some nonsense like uninstalling Intel drivers, enabling battery saver mode everywhere and deleting Alienware command center. They said it should be fixed but nothing changed.
Sure after 3~4 calls and 10~12 hours of useless debugging and some cursing they created a service to replace my battery and heat sink, shit has been fixed and heating has been reduced + battery health is at 100% now ((:
And you know what’s worse? This is not an isolated case. Two of my friends from college who bought the same Dell G15 with different specs also had the same problem. Their battery health had degraded to 75% and 70% in just a few months. And the Dell bios showed excellent battery health all the time, which is clearly a lie.
And the Dell/Alienware command center (AWCC). It’s the worst piece of software ever. It doesn’t allow you to go beyond 2.5GHz (basically overclocking is disabled) if you have virtualization enabled in Windows feature, which is something important for me as a computer science student. And the fans’ top speed is 3900RPM and 4250RPM for both fans respectively, which is lower than what other laptops offer in this price range.
And you can’t use any software to overclock fans/cpu/gpu unless you uninstall their Alienware software and Fusion Core service, which is ridiculous.
TL;DR
Main Issue:
- Battery being too poor than promised / actual capacity
- Heating Heating Heating
- Fan's top speed is 3900RPM + 4200RPM
- Alienware software doesn't work if you've VM / Virtualization enabled in windows features
How much battery backup it gives on normal usage in your experience

I bought Dell G15 after comparing it with all other models which were out there in the market at that moment, and on paper this one is still solid + recently I saw this model was listed for 62K INR on Amazon India which is a steal deal (except for the issues I faced ofc ^_^)
Regardless, Lenovo legion and the TUF looks good if you're considering anything other than Dell G15 at present.

I think nitro 5 2022 is a better option... because it has a better display with 300 nits brightness and RGB keyboard and a better design

Only diff is nitro has got gen 4 ssd and ddr4 ram while it has got ddr 5 ram and gen 3 ssd,so it depends on you, get dell g15 and add extra gen 4 ssd for 7k or get nitro 5 and upgrade both ram to ddr5 which costs more and the ddr4 will get wasted.

hi sir I have hp victus 16 rz56000h nvidia 1650 , my laptop heats a lot like 90 c in playing fornite at medium in 60fps . i think it is because of my high ram usage beacuse it is 76% in normal use, if i will upgrade my ram will it help or i should upgrade my ssd
