To add to my comment, few years back, I went back to the forest thinking I will never find back my childhood shelter. Guess what, after more than 20 years, the shelter was still standing. Very proud of our achievements 😁

Reminded me of when l lived in a 'Bender'....wonderful home.
A Bender is made from slim usually Hazel sticks made into a dome shaped frame and covered with (hopefully) waterproof canvas and insulated with more cloth inside.
A woodburning stove and a pallet floor,
A chest for your food and a tight fitting door. 😁
The tenderness and delight that we experience from the contemplation of nature is a memory of the time when we were animals, trees, flowers, earth. More precisely: it is the consciousness of unity with everything, hidden from us by time.

It's wonderful to live in the forest. Friends, family and society are important, but I like the feeling of being alone, blending into nature and slowly filling my heart.
It is incredibly calming, and rejuvenating.
What a beautiful little house... It's amazing how Mother Nature provides for everything.. how we lost our ways.. it's sad ..very sad.. how we way we lost our ways..this has been a major Awakening for me...I 2 would like to return back to a nature state ❤️

We all keep coming back to watch life like years before us. It gave some kind of comfort and for some, like me, wishing we can have this experience for ourselves at the same time keep living the way we are right now. Might as well we build this kind of build on our back yard too, no need to leave our comfort zone but still can enjoy this too.

I think the moss planting on the roof is very good because it has a cooling effect in summer and a warming effect in winter. If you also build a rain gutter with a cistern, you will have high-quality water for cooking, drinking and cleaning. Try to find an old bath stove (as often found in Germany in the post-war period). Then you have contemporary comfort in nature.

When I was a kid, in the forest down the garden, our greatest pleasure was to built almost similar wood shelters (not with a burner otherwise, parents will be furious😁). It was great fun and gave me at younger age, some insights about construction and insulation

Another amazing creation! I really liked the addition of the tiles and chimney. Dandelions are so good for us. A great plant for the liver. There's many in my yard. I use them in salads and sometimes saute with butter and onions. Always a pleasure watching you create...and informative! 🙏🌺
Adding dandelion greens to wilted lettuce is my go to way to eat them. For the uninitiated, wilted lettuce is chopped lettuce sauteed in bacon grease and butter, finished with cider vinegar.

A friend of mine used to bring dandelion swine to social gatherings that his grandmother used to make which was a big hit with everyone, still to this day haven't met anyone else who could make dandelion wine as good as this chap's grandmother she had it mastered😎😎😎

My father use to make dandelion wine with the flowers and raisens! Early Spring is the best time to harvest dandelion leaves for salads, they are the least bitter then. :)

This is incredible! I can see a tribal Druid priest living in a place like this. Alone in the woods. Separated. by distance from the tribe he belongs to, whilst still being part of that tribe. All of the indigenous European tribes like Slavic people, Nordic people Celts had very similar worldview, shamanic traditions, and nature-based spirituality. You would usually see one of the Slavic, Celtic, Nordic, pagan priests/seers/sages/shamans living alone in the woods. Members of the tribe would go to see their local seer/sage/shaman for various reasons. The local seer/sage/shaman was your physician, psychiatrist, as well as handling spiritual matters

Great video and beautiful result. But I think that in the first strong wind, the grass and leaves from roof will vanish and the water from a heavy rain will enter the home. As I see, the entrance is in a lower level than the surounding soil (at least so i see it)...
