i've had the original Peavey with the woodhandle for 20+ years without trouble.
Tom if you have a Peavey branded tool it definitely is a well built tool for sure.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
I've had the same one for years too.
hi there good show and good to see you . nice flippers , best to all . john
John hope you’re staying cool and dry.

@@TonysCoolTools hi there lots of rain and now way behind , thanks john
Hey Tony, I’m sorry it’s taken me me so long to get back to you but I did receive the “tick tools” that you sent me. Over the last 3 weeks I found at least 5 ticks attached to me including one inside my belly button. They work great to remove them! Thanks again Tony!
I have a peavy but I call it a “log roller”, I don’t use it very often as I try to stay away from large logs that I can’t lift up to the Ultra once it’s bucked.
Joe I’m glad you received the tic twister. This year is bad, I’ve had several tic’s on me as well.
Stay safe and I hope you feel better in the future .👍TCT
Hey Tony I have not had any issues with notifications from your channel. Also the wooden handled Cant hook would be my pick of the lot. Guess because I'm partial to the antique Cant hooks that can still be found at farm auctions. Have a great day! -Everett
I’ll tell you the wooden handle on my first cant hook is a beast.
I too am always looking for antique cant or peavey at garage sales or auctions.

Always enjoy your videos. They are very informative, and you compare a lot of different tools.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Options give us choices based on our specific situations.

The toolman hard at it again.
Yup, need to show you guys what’s available out there.

Hi Tony! I’ve been having the same issue with CZcams. It’s just killing a very small channel like mine. I can’t grow if they keep doing this. I’m close to throwing in the towel. As for the cant hook, what an incredibly important tool. Having my own sawmill and logging my logs, you just couldn’t get along without it. I didn’t know there were so many versions of it. Thanks for sharing!
Brian I know it’s frustrating and I’ve thrown in the towel a few times myself in the last two years but kept coming back.
Give it a little more time.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Hey Brian , don’t throw in the towel , your channel is great and it will grow . I’ve had the same problem for over a year . It will come .
@@inthebackyardwithdel438 Del I appreciate the words of encouragement for a fellow Woodhound.👍TCT
I really like my log ox. It goes with me every time go cutting. Nice tools.

Hey Tony , I love my Log Ox. I like the new upgraded pins but I wish the handle was just a little longer . 👍🏻🇺🇸

😊
Job well done on another fine video,
Thanks for taking the time and effort to teach others.
Best wishes for continued success.
Glad you enjoyed the video.

Thanks Tony.
I have 2 of the 2 piece ones from Fleet Farm only they are Black. I made a Bar to fit them side by side so I can raise the entire Log off the Ground. I had to weld the handles together because they kept coming loose. And the slot the foot is mounted to ripped out on one trying to lift a too large a Log AHAHAHAHA
Big beefy Me over works My tools.....
Ha ha, always modifying and re-engineering tools.
All that works is they work when you need them.

Great video Tony. Hope you don’t mind but in my next video I gave a shoutout to your channel. These and many of the other tools you show make it safer to work in the woodyard. Since my next video is about ways to be safer, I thought people could check out your channel to see specifics on some of the tools I mentioned.
Thanks, I do my best to show as many back saving and tools that help you work safer and quicker.
Appreciate you watching and commenting 👍TCT
Man the can’t hook sure is a handy tool! Sucks sometimes when the bark is loose hard to grip the log. Great video Tony👍👍
Jeremiah as you know the cant or peavey are indispensable tools when working with logs like we do.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
You’re getting close to 10k subscribers Tony! Nice. 👍🏻
Yup im closing in on 10k subscribers which I can believe in two years.
Thanks for watching and commenting and supporting my channel👍TCT
I think I have a cant hook/ peavy addiction. I have 18 antique cant hooks and 7 peaveys . Most I acquired at flea markets and tractor shows in northern Wisconsin. Half of them I turned new handles out of hickory or hops horn beam. Three of my favorites are the peavy from Maine, a original CCC from Wisconsin and a original Oshkosh brand. There is something special in using a logging tool over a hundred years old and thinking of all the work it has done. Also I have 4 two person log tongs. Tony do you have any antique logging tools?
Ha ha Alfred, it definitely sounds like you have a cant/peavy addiction.
There is a 12 step program for that😂😂😂
Wisconsin flea markets and garage sales are definitely a good place to find them.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
Nice try, but “You Cant Hook” me Tony😂 Thanks for the tool tour. I actually really never the difference between pevey or cant hook. 👍🏻👍🏻
Well Todd now you know the difference.
For us woodhounds these tools are are indispensable.

Congratulations on the 10k!🤘
Sure a lot of folks with less money since stumbling onto you. I bet their Wives are unsubbing them!🤣🤣 No...seriously! The unsubbing has been an issue for every channel I have ever followed at some point or another!👍
Wayne thanks for your well wishes.
I’m not sure what’s going on with CZcams,
After asking viewers to resubscribe I got over 1500 people to resubscribe in a couple days which put me over 10k.
Like I always say I’m not trying to sell anything I’m just letting you know what’s out there.
I appreciate you watching, commenting and supporting my channel.👍TCT
Tree fellers as opposed to tree gals!
Ha ha Mark I appreciate all woodhounds!

What about pulp hooks?
John I’ve covered the pulp hook in my back saving videos.

All too small for me. I need tractors or something like that to move logs around 😂
Daniel there is always an exception but I think the Logrite Yellow Xtreme duty 78” can’t hook could move some of you large logs.
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍TCT
lets push to 10k subs, you need an antique pee-vee
John I’m hoping to hit 10k subs by June 6th which is my 2 year anniversary of me starting my channel.
Thanks for watching, commenting and supporting my channel👍TCT
@@TonysCoolTools I'll bring down a old pee-vee to the Wisc trappers meeting Sept 24 and you old past good friend may get it to you. Have a contest for when yo hit 2k and the anologs will cue in to direct more people
