It took The Sims releasing a Star Wars pack for James to go back to building complicated stuctures again and Iâm here for it
I mean, he's getting me excited for that pack since his energy for it is so good lol

Iâm actually very excited for this gamepack, it, might actually make my family get a tiny bit interested in the sims. Wish it had been in the time of the first trilogy though...
During this pandemic, watching people build funny or strange things in the Sims is weirdly something that keeps me sane

Yeah I totally love builds like this that have so much room for imagining what someone's life would be like there. But it's a good thing that sims can't fall into holes otherwise just think of townies walking around at night and falling into James Burner's house. Then he'd have to be like "Oh, nice of you to drop in...?" or maybe the game would have to add a new death. Death by plummet.

Okay, but what if James Burner dumps random woman he married for money that he didnât receive and gets with Trash and they start a space empire? Sadly I think this wonât happen because I think the point of using James Burner is to keep it out of the Eco lifestyle save to prevent anything getting messed up time wise going between households.

I absolutely love that James is excited for the pack and is doing things that excite him. I donât know I definitely feel like heâs been bored of the sims for a while so itâs good to see his spark. Thereâs a lot of hate for this pack, rightfully so, but seeing James excitement makes it a little better.
I also suspected he was bored, I was glad to see him return.
Absolutely!!! Lately he's either been rushing through his plays (Realm of Magic lmao but who could blame him đ ) or you can just tell how unenthused he's been during the more recent Eco Lifestyle episodes. Granted, Eco gets pretty repetitive and James has been doing a good job of keeping his episodes entertaining, but I definitely have NOT seen him THIS excited for a while!!!! I'm super excited for the people who will actually enjoy this pack because I definitely feel how mundane and monotonous TS4 has gotten

This build is so cool! Fun fact: though the round top of Luke's house is set design, the pits in the ground were filmed in Tunisia, in real houses. There are still some people today who live in this traditional type of home, and the one where they filmed the homestead is part of a hotel now.

Yeah but the whole point is to start off with no money, so that would entirely depend on if there's any new way he can go from 'rags to riches' *before* he can go on to do the other things! Though most likely knowing Semaj, he'll wind up doing something like this!! đ
Hayley Z He could make a variant of rags to riches where he starts off with the means to get to [insert planet name that iâve already forgotten here] so he doesnât have to do ANOTHER âpaint/fish/garden until we have enough money to do the packâ LP. Like, start off on the planet (if you can live there?) or with a rocket ship/whatever
There is no new way to make money in the pack, that we know of.

No Jarjar - all OG caracters are either killed off or demonised by Disney. Thats why I will not buy the pack. If it was a George Lukas StarWars I would pay 150$ in a blink for it... with Luke and Leya and Han Solo.

You don't know how happy it makes me to watch someone being as excited as I am about this new pack! I understand that most people don't want it and they are in their right to express their opinions, but it's also a bit of a downer to hear negativaty about it all the time. Kinda makes me feel bad for wanting it.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm really excited about this pack as well and I don't think it deserves all the hate it's getting. The problem is not the pack, it's with the base game in general. I agree with the complaints and I want changes, but blaming a game pack is just not right.
I understand. I was excited about the eco pack. I still love it. I might not have asked for Star Wars in the sims, but I like seeing people excited.
I personally don't want Star Wars in my game but i am loving watching James and other fans be so excited about it and I can't wait for his LP because of that! I really hope it lives up to all your expectations :)

I've never seen starwars but I'm really excited for the cool futuristic build/buy items. There's a load of random ones in get to work that don't really go with anything and I'm excited to use them.

Jamesâ excitement is infectious. I love this build and Iâm very excited for his letâs play, Iâm still on the fence about the pack (love Star Wars but itâs really not my style of Sims play) but Jamesâ enthusiasm might just tip me over. :)
As long as James is having fun, then I'd be more than happy to watch this series even tho I know jack shit about Star Wars.
A quick explanation about Star Wars saga: two people fell in love with each other when they shouldn't, one of them is apparently the strongest person on the galaxy, their love destroyed the galaxy, then the child of said people saved it, but _then_ the grandson of that couple idolizes his grandpapi so he cosplayed him, dooming the galaxy again, and the granddaughter of that family's enemy had an identity crisis but ultimately turned the emo kid to the good side and bring peace once and for all. Maybe. Thousands of stories (literally) within them, though, like you could point at a random character on the movies and he'll have three books, a comic and a whole Wiki page about him and his backstory.

I got really excited and I'm not even into Star Wars but the new pack is just so cool. I was surprised at people being so frustrated. I enjoy Strangerville and Aliens so I'm definitely going to be buying the new pack.

Who else wishes they based the pack on the original trilogy? I think everyone whoâs seen Star Wars can agree that those three are classic masterpieces of cinematography and a huge influence on sci-fi, and leagues better than the prequels and sequels.

I love this house! May I change some of the open archways for the new portal doors coming with the new pack? That will look so great! I love how creative and different this build is! Even though you were only using base game objects, the different layers and rooms shooting off the central open area looks really neat and works really well under ground. I'm really excited to see your LP with this pack. Even if I'm not the biggest fan of Star Wars, your excitement makes me excited also!! It would be even more awesome if you did some sort of spin off with Doc and/or Deli around this pack and your LP characters in a multiplayer LP. Like perhaps they open a cantina or something?? ;) Can't wait!

I'm not a Star Wars/sci-fi person but that doesn't mean I don't like this build, in fact I love it because it's so creative, I'm impressed you could furnish a building that weird and big and still being cohesive. I would even play with it. Also, I'm very very excited to watch your let's play or whatever you do with the new pack.

I will upload my Oasis Springs buildings as I get them done! my gallery id is gimpyninjagirl . I haven't done anything quite like this, but this video really inspires and I am really excited to do more "out there" builds.

I love how excited James is for this pack, it feels like it gave him new life to do something he loves which is playing Sims in his ultimate scenario of Star Wars. I always look forward to James' content even when he was doing coding and he was doing what he loves I enjoyed rewatching Keeping up with the Bigwallets. I never got into Star Wars, but I have always really liked the grungier sci-fi aesthetics of it, so this build absolutely _speaks to me_ . If I ever picked TS4 up again I would absolutely love to play in this house.
Challenge for Semaj: Build a completely normal suburban family home for 8 sims. Make it look very child-oriented. Include toddlers as well. And no, don't make the wallpapers white, or grey or brown. Make the house look very colorful and bright with lots of greenery and clutter. I've never seen you do a build like this, that's why I'm being so specificđ
